I am a male, but I play male and female characters. I am always open for a chat and what not, but it's kind of obnoxious and a little hurtful for someone to add you, and then suddenly become disinterested in talking to you because of your gender. It's happened a few times to me already :/
With that said I have a MSN, a yahoo, and a skype available for chatting with. I also play games on Steam, and I'm more than willing to befriend you and play ^^
