meachy and I have been married for almost a year now, and loving our lives together. :D My shoulder hurts yet from the last surgery on it (the 3rd one :/ ), so drawing isn't happening much as of now. And I'm STILL losing the battle between picking up my stylus as opposed to the 360 controller. Stats

Stupid-cide Squad (G)
So, just watched the "Suicide Squad" movie today. Wow, I'd have been better off repeatedly hitting myself in the head with a hammer (and seeing as I just took a crowbar to the head this past Friday morning, I have experience in that area).
So, I won't really try to let things out of the bag, but I've seen better story lines on episodes of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?". The fact that the lesser known characters aren't really gone into is annoying, while the ones that are more well known get lots of screen time when we know who they are, almost to show that the writers were saying, "See, we have this character and they talk!". And while I'm talking more well known characters: why did Harley Quinn have to keep talking?! The best part of the movie was a line where one character mocks her for her talking.
Will Smith put in his usual performance, and Jai Courtney was bearable (because he actually didn't have that many lines -- and his Australian accent seemed forced to me, which is a surprise as he is from Australia!). But when you have an actor of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's abilities (Mr Echo from "Lost"), why have him basically reduced to window dressing? They never say much about his character, Killer Croc, either. "He looks like a monster, they treated him like a monster, so he became a monster," is his background. Nice job, guys.
I could write more about this movie, but after wasting over two hours just to watch that piece of crap, I really can't force myself to waste more on it than I have to this time. If you want to see it, don't expect much from some of the characters they hyped in the promos (Joker *cough-cough*), and take a good book to give you some real entertainment.
