My husband was admitted to the hospital again from Monday-Thursday
There is no way we will ever be able to pay off all the medical expenses that have accumulated 😭
We have been trying to save up to move in together for years now, but it seems like there's always things getting in the way... I feel so discouraged, sad, scared and alone.
My husband is a type 1 diabetic with brittle diabetes. I have lost count of the amount of times he's been hospitalized for DKA (a life-threatening complication of diabetes) in the last 3 years. It's gotta be at least 6 times now, each stay usually lasting for a minimum of 2 days up to 4-5 days.
I don't know what to do. I just want to be able to have a life with him. I'm so sad and scared.
Needless to say, any commissions and tips are greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has other illness related help advice, that would be great too.
He has tried to get on disability, but because he is working they won't approve him. He's stuck in a catch-22 because he will die if he stops working, but he has more than enough criteria to qualify him for disability otherwise.
Anyway. I'm sad. 😔 Hope you're all doing okay
