April fools day was epic fail in my household. (G)

Ok, so I'm incredibly forgetful when it comes to special days and events. My family are also the sort of people who'll purposefully not tell me about things so they can pull a good prank. In fact, we love pranks so long as they don't become physical. (unless they're really good).
So I spent April fool's day in ignorance until it had completely passed over. And then the very next day, I was awoken by the sound of my sister hitting a frying pan right next to my bed in Azumanga Daioh style screaming "HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY YOU F****** FOOL!"
For breakfast, we had hats. It wasn't funny because I was actually hungry. It's egg and bacon day and instead we get bowler hats on plates while everybody laughs. After this stunt, naturally I assumed it was indeed April Fools day went the rest of the day playing April Fools pranks on my friends before realizing that it was actually yesterday, and I come home to my family laughing their collective ass off at my gullibility.
