An old gay folf, who tries to live life to the fullest. Even with it's ups and downs, good and bad, there is always something new around the next bend.

Life's Journey Continues (G)
It's been years since I have been on here. I know there is a lot of shit happening in the world now, but there has always been.
I'm an old Folf now, I have seen and done many things in my life, both good and bad. Good and bad things happen all through your life, it doesn't matter if your older or young.
One thing you must remember, with all the bad things that happen in your life, life can still be good no matter what happens.
You just have to hold in there and never give up. You will lose partners, family and sorts of other things, but it's still worth it.
In 2016, I lost my mate/partner, and I vanished, crawled away and hid. This cost me more then just the loss of my mate, because I withdrew for years. I lost friends, support and so much more, take it from the old Folf. Don't do it, don't hide and/or withdraw, you'll lose so much more.
Sorry if this sounds depressing, it's not meant to be. It is a message from someone entering his twilight years, no I'm not giving up and saying goodbye. That is not something I ever want to do again You lose more when you do, never give up.
Life has a tendency to throw you curve balls, sometimes they bean you in the head/knock you for a loop. But that next one might be that winning home run, don't concede the game.
Just one or two extra points, no matter what your job or lack of is, always take time for you and your friends/family. Don't let the rat race steal your life and family, take time for them and you.
Also no mater what, take at least 10% of your gross wage off your cheque and have it deposited into some sort of savings/investment. Don't touch or spend it, unless you use it to invest in some tangible asset like gold or silver bullion. Actual bars, rounds or wafers and but them aside, you can use them in tight spot.
Take them to a good pawnshop, take a loan on them and pay it back asap, that way you keep them and can use them when you retire. Try not to sell them.
