Greetings! Just joined this lovely site as recommended by some artist friends in my search for a new place for my meager works that wouldn't allow AI. I don't consider myself much of an artist, my work is very Disney-esque as I learned to draw by tracing Disney coloring books and heavily referencing Disney illustrations. I draw in pencil and ink by hand before uploading my work onto my computer and using GIMP to digitally color. I'm still trying to improve my coloring techniques, but at the moment, I just use bucketfill to color my lineart, so my work is rather simplistic. Always looking for some tips, tricks, recommendations, and helpful guides to help me improve!
A bit about me: I'm a neurodivergent (AuDHD), nonbinary ace living in NC! I've been sketching since middle school and am always working on improving my techniques and basic anatomy. I'm a huge Disney fan, my favorite movie is Hunchback of Notre Dame and my favorite character is Clopin. You'll see a lot of him here. I'm a nerd as well as a gamer and play mostly World of Warcraft. I draw a lot of animals, mostly big cats, as well as gargoyles based off the Disney cartoon Gargoyles. Lately though, I've been trying to draw more humans to work on proportion and anatomy.
