Welcome to Cirque Du Selah Studios!

My name is Aubrey James, but in my online communities I am also known as Selah (pronounced sell-uh). I am a freelance artist residing in Washington State, USA. I've been in the furry fandom since 2012, but I've been really involved with the community for the past 10 years or so. On top of doing anthro art, I also love fantasy art, horror, wild life art, and paleoart. Paleoart is artwork surrounding paleo creatures, such as dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are a very common theme in my work!

I have a small following over on my somewhat new Facebook page, also called "Cirque Du Selah Studios", but I figured it was about time a make a current FA account for my work! My previous account on here was Lupa_Velectra, but I will no longer be uploading any work there. I actually haven't uploaded work there for quite awhile, so none of my current (2018 on) artwork can be found there. I look forward to uploading work here and interacting with my watchers on FA again.

(Headshots are from the shoulders/bust up, half bodies are usually from the top of the hips/bottom of the waist up)



Sketches:

(No color, sketch style shading)

Refined headshot sketches- $25.00



Flat color:

(Fully lined, colored, no shading)

Headshot (feral or anthro)- $40.00

Half body (anthro)- $60.00

Half body (feral)- $50.00

Full body (anthro)- $100.00

Full body (feral)-$80.00



Shaded:

(Fully lined, colored, and shaded)

Headshot (feral or anthro)- $60.00

Half body (anthro)- $80.00

Half body (feral)- $70.00

Full body (anthro)- $120.00

Full body (feral)- $100.00



All of the above comes with a very simple background, to add a complex background will change the price depending on what you want.



Chibi Style:

(Feral only at the moment, full body, lined, colored, shaded, and includes custom detailed “bubble background”) 

$85.00-$150.00, depending on character and complexity. Ask for a quote! 

WITHOUT a custom background ranges from $40.00-$80.00.



Reference Sheets for Pre-Existing Characters:

(Fully lined and colored, usually “generic”/simple poses to best show off the design, no shading, automatically comes with themed or simple background of choice, any info you want, and color palette)

One view (anthro)- $80.00-$100.00 depending on complexity 

-also comes with ONE free headshot expression to go on sheet 

One view (feral)- $70.00-$100.00 depending on complexity  

-also comes with ONE free headshot expression to go on sheet 

Two view (anthro)- $125.00-$200.00 depending on complexity 

-also comes with THREE free headshot expressions to go on sheet 

Two view (feral)-$110.00-$200.00 depending on complexity 

-also comes with THREE free headshot expressions to go on sheet 



Additional anthro views (after the first two) are +$60.00 each. Additional feral views (after the first two) are +$50.00 each 

Anthro and feral views can be used on one sheet together (for example, you could have two anthro views and one feral view on your reference sheet) 

Outfits are +$35.00 each

Additional headshot expressions or other detail shots are +$15.00 each



Custom Character Designs

Ask about my custom creature and character designs if you’re interested in examples and/or a quote! I do a wide range of designs and species, including making custom species for clients. My character designs usually run a little pricier and are charged by the hour (but I will be able to give you an estimated cost before I start). This commission type is very open; I’m able to do whatever the client desires, whether that’s sketch pages, completely colored and shaded finalized pieces, or anything in between! Price will be directly dependent on complexity and time spent.
