Two months ago, during the week Charlie Kirk died, I took notice of a recent art post from 0r0ch1 that depicted Whisper the Wolf firing a sniper rifle. At the time, I was very emotionally effected by Kirk's death, and when I saw one commenter on his work stating that what he posted was uncalled for, I immediately believed the pic was intentionally made to mock Kirk's death, and I took action posting the journal calling him out. At the time, other people were calling out the left for celebrating Kirk's death, so I thought I was doing the right thing as well.

However just this week, I decided to look back on the journal on FurAffinity, and I just found a comment posted on the journal from around that time that completely changes everything, and has me realizing now that I might have just made a huge mistake, and that maybe he wasn't guilty of mocking Kirk at all:

The commenter stated that he personally spoke with him and said that the art piece was totally unrelated to Charlie Kirk's assassination, and that the fanart was just posted at the wrong place, wrong time. I decided to contact the commenter and asked him if this was really true, and he replied yes, and stated that the real context of the fanart was to showcase Whisper's snipping ability from the comics, according to lore. I know I should have asked for proof of his innocence, but I don't think it should be necessary, especially now that it has been two months, and I've only now discovered this for myself.

So I now feel completely ashamed and mortified over what I did. I mistook the context of an artist's artwork for mockery, and made accusations that might not even been true at all to begin with. I said what I said without taking in all the facts, and now I think it's costs me big time.

Just recently, I discovered I was booted from AuntyMoira's Discord group a short time ago, and I don't know why, but I have a feeling it might have to do with what has happened here. If this relates to it, then I deserve it. If not, it doesn't matter. I jumped to conclusions and made accusations without thinking it through, and I feel getting banned from her server is something I deserve as punishment for my actions.

With all that is said and done, I take full accountability. I should have never post the journals and kept quiet, but I didn't, and now I must reap what I sow. I have to take responsibility for what happened and live with it, moving forward. I don't deserve to be forgiven for any of it.

Just know that I'm taking this to heart, and I'm currently trying to learn from my mistake and reflect on this mess.
For the record, 0r0ch1, I'm so sorry. You don't have to accept my apology. Just know that I owe you big for my misjudgment and misconduct, if this turns out to be true.

For those reading this, you don't have to forgive me. Just know I'm sorry for what I did, and that I'm going to try not to make anymore accusations in the future, moving forward.
