We are our own worst critics.
If we only ever look at what we can't do, we'll never see all the things we can do.
If success means perfection, we can only ever fail ourselves.
If we hold ourselves to standards we can never reach, we'll never accept ourselves.
There's nothing wrong with looking for ways to be better, but we shouldn't let 'better' be the enemy of 'good'.
The fact there's a higher peak for us to reach doesn't invalidate the one we're on.
Never let anyone tell you you're not good enough, especially not yourself! ^.^

Well, it's the one year anniversary of the first story I ever posted here.
I've seen a lot of people hating on 2025, but I'm glad it happened. I definitely feel more confident putting myself out there than I did 365 days ago, and that's thanks to you guys. Thank you everyone who read my stuff, and especially everyone who left favorites and comments; it really means a lot. I'm lucky to be part of such an accepting community. ^w^
I've got plenty of ideas left, so here's hoping this year will be even better than last year.
