Well, I'm a male bottlenose morphic phin, living in Suisun City, CA, and came on here to find friends and fellow cetaceans:) I love to joke around and discuss anything from politics to quantum physics and almost anything else:) Oh, and I've been mated 21 years so far(whoot!), to the most gorgeous herm orca in the world, my Naketa Orcan
:)
Life is entirely too insane to take seriously:P

Update on the Status of the Orca (G)
When it rains it pours, but sometimes ya get a rainbow:
I cannot thank all of you enough for the generosity of you wonderful folk. We made it to this point 4 months later in good part thanks to the aid from so many of you.
The good news is that my orca,
, is showing progress on their chemotherapy and is stable, albeit some of the side effects are gnarly and they've continued to lose weight and strength, though not as badly as before.
Nak is still strong enough to go with me to see my little sister defend her dissertation and become the second doctor in the family, and to handle a week in the outskirts of Los Angeles. I am immensely happy that we both got to be there:)
The bad news is that, as of today, Naketa is now officially considered permanently disabled due to the loss of strength and weight from the Chemotherapy and cancer. He's gone from 265 to 220 pounds, And the chemo as given him Anemia, sapping his endurance and making it easy for him to be injured. To add to this, the length of chemotherapy has gone from ending dec. 5 to 'we don't know how long this is going to take'. It seems to have possibly spread to his remaining Kidney as well.
We're going to fight this, we're going to beat it, but it's turned from a 6 month campaign to a grinding campaign of daily battles, ranging from using a Vape to help him have an appetite, daily meds to help his GI tract stay un-cranky, and PT to try and help him maintain what strength he has.
It's being hard on us both, in mind and in body. We're doing all we can to keep up our strength, and I want to thank all of you again for helping us.
If you can,
still has an active gofundme. I know a lot of you sweet folk are probably in dire straits as well, even good wishes helps us and reminds us that we are surrounded by many good friends:)
Anything you can spare, thank you
