By sending the downpayment, you agree to these terms and conditions

You must be 18 or older to commission a fursuit. However if you are under 18 and have permission from a guardian who will be purchasing the suit for you, you MUST provide me with their contact information as well. I will be checking and confirming that this is an approved purchase.

Any agreements we come to while in communication will be binding and saved for the duration of the commission. This includes dms, emails, texts, and other social media messaging platforms.

Quotes:
Quotes are free and able to be discussed at any time, despite commission availability at the time. Quotes are a rough estimate for pricing, and are not a binding statement for you or us. Quotes are subject to change. Please give information as to what pieces you would like made. I will be choosing commissions based on my current situation and what I feel reasonable to take on at the time. Quotes do not guarantee you a slot.

Custom Suits:
Any discrepancies between the artworks you’ve provided of the character must be discussed, and once started and agreed upon, the markings cannot be changed. I will personally be in frequent contact with you to confirm aspects of the work in progress. Once it has been agreed upon and made, I will not be changing it for free. This includes modifying your character’s design part way through the work. I will only accept changing design portions that have NOT been created yet. Any changes that you wish to be made after they have already been confirmed may result in an additional cost. This may alter the time in which your suit is completed, you are responsible for keeping this in mind if you have a deadline or event. I will be choosing the furs to purchase, however if you have prebought furs or selected what you prefer, that will be accepted only if I believe the quality is up to my standards. Colors are chosen base upon the images you send, what I feel matches most accurately, and what you and I agree upon. I will always confirm the fur choice with you prior to purchasing. Characters with feral or unfinished designs or lacking a full 3 view ref will need to be discussed in detail. I will work on aiding in the designing of any details in a custom artwork (if needed) for a bonus fee. Please consider sending references to body types and examples of other suits/paws/etc you admire, so I can have an idea of what you would like. This in NO WAY means I will be copying or replicating ANY work of someone else. It is SOLELY for understanding what you have in mind for shapes and sizes.
Any design detail that I feel may be problematic or up for interpretation on representing will be discussed with you.

Style:
Starcrossed Fur currently focuses on a kemono style fursuit, but I am more than open to accepting and discussing experimental, toony, or other styles. The style of the fursuit may effect the price. Again, I will NOT replicate any other maker’s personal style.

Payment:
All payment is to be made through Paypal only. Do NOT make offers of bartering or trades unless I bring up the option. I will only RARELY consider anything of the sort. A NON-REFUNDABLE downpayment of discussed amount will secure you a slot. This downpayment is to purchase supplies, and to begin creation of the product. I will accept payment plans at a MINUMUM of 100$ increments. I will regularly update you and provide wips of progress accordingly to when you provide payment. I do so in steps, for example a payment at the furring, shaving, detailing, etc. We can discuss which how much is produced per payment, but I will not continue work without payments. This means the progress of your suit is determined by your payment.

Refunds:
Once a costume is complete or the design is unchangable, refunds can NOT be given. As stated before, the downpayment is non refundable. If cancelled mid-progress, only a portion will be able to be refunded. I will determine the amount of refund based on how much work, time, and supplies have gone into your product. We hold the right to refuse full refunds.

Work In Progress Updates:
I will be in regular touch with you through the contacts you have provided and agreed upon. I will regularly ask you questions and present you with images. We have the right to post any images of our work on our social media. While regular messages are typical, be aware that there may be other customers or events occurring. We will stay in touch.

Deadlines:
All commissions are subject to possible delays. Commissions without deadline in place do not have a confirmed completion date, and all dates discussed are estimates which are subject to change. A discussed deadline fee determined by date, complexity, etc will be discussed. This fee must be paid in order for the preferred deadline to be agreed upon. Any emergencies resulting in the delayed completion of your suit past your deadline will result in a refund of the deadline fee. Adding previously undiscussed/agreed upon details may also result in a fee, especially if they are last minute requests. We reserve the right to not accept a commission as a deadline product if we do not feel the time given is adequate. Expedited shipping for deadline confirmed commissions must be covered by the customer at time of shipping in order to reach you in time.

Shipping:
At this time we only accept orders within North America. The cost of shipping will be decided once the package is boxed and weighed. Items will not be shipped without shipping payment. Returns for repairs are at the cost of the customer. Local pick up and convention/event pickup will be available if we have discussed and agreed upon a mutual situation. I will not be attending any events solely to deliver your suit, this is only in the case that we have a mutual attendance to such an event. This may be discussed.

Repairs and Adjustments:
Adjustments such as sizing or design are at the cost of the customer, as you are responsible for providing us with your correct measurements or DTD. Repairs can be accepted if they are not at the hands of wear, age, personal destruction, or your own attempt at altering after receiving the suit. These repairs will require payment. Any repairs that are needed after 30 days of receiving the suit require payment. As previously stated, shipping must be covered by the customer. I refuse to accept any repair orders for fursuits that are not in cleanliness or are dirty.

Choosing Commission:
Commissions will be chosen based on the current work load I prefer to take on at the time, if there are deadlines, and if the materials are unobtainable at the time. You must fill out the form provided in order to be considered for a slot. This shows you are ready to be contacted for further consulting. This may mean you can be contacted at a later date, once I feel prepared for your commission specifically. I will ask if you are still interested if an extended period of time has passed since your submission. This form is NOT to be filled out if you are NOT ready to continue in the process and be confirmed for payment and creation. Only serious interest is advised to complete the form.

Privacy:
We will never give out information such as your address, name, contacts, etc to third parties.
