I shouldn't be typing this while sleepy, but I think if I don't do it now, it'll never get done. So let's give it a shot...

September 2024 Update

It's been a hot minute since making one of these lil journals. I like doing it because it gives me a reason to look back at what's happened and make even more of a paper trail to follow into the future. I guess to get started, I should mention...

I moved!

But not just that, I made the seemingly impossible millennial action back in July of buying my first home! Much of my energy on that month and much of August was spent on getting acquainted with the new place, as well as handling family wanting to visit and work during that time as well. I'm mostly settled in, though I still have some expenses needed to be taken care of to update parts of it here and there (like insulation in the attic before winter). Spending money on things like that should be fun. /s I'm still trying to find my footing again with art after the madness of a summer I just had, so bear with me on that front.

Uhh... I don't normally plug for money unless I'm offering some sort of commission with it, and I never know how to ask for anything like this, but if you're feeling particularly in the mood to support monetarily, here is a quick link to my Ko-fi. It's still mainly a tip jar as I'm not consistent enough to offer up some kind of subscription, but I still appreciate any amount given very, very much.

Bluesky

Hey, remember the last journal when I said I'd leave Bluesky to bare essential posts and not cater to a walled-off social media platform?

Yeah, they took down the walls and I started regularly using it... so this is me fully endorsing it! Also, Brazil banning Twitter has given the site a new lively boost, which has been pleasant, and they lightly teased a potential video update, so that'll be exciting once more comes of that!
