So, I have a genuine question for you all, now that the first act of Camera Obscura is posted here on FA: should I keep going with the rest?

I've noticed there hasn't been much movement on the story. I know it's a longer piece, it isn't straight-up porn, and the giantess featured isn't in every scene possible. A part of me worries this is the reason people aren't as invested, wanting more instant gratification out of their macro smut. (I promise, I'm not trying to be spiteful.)

That being said, it takes a lot of work to prepare these posts for this site, and if it's something people aren't interested in or want to read...perhaps Act 1 is as far as I should go, and if anyone else is still interested, they can go to Patreon to read the rest. I don't really enjoy hiding anything behind a paywall unless I intend to do more with it in the future, but at the same time, if uploads end up being nothing more than a timesink, then perhaps it's best I move on to something else, and allow those who want to continue the chance to do so by supporting me there. It feels bad that I even need to consider it, but...this isn't as easy as it looks. Writing takes a lot of work. I know I'm not the best at it, but...I try. I really do.

Not that people read FA journals nowadays with social media, but I ask you: should I keep going? What keeps you reading? And if you're not reading, why? Ultimately, if this isn't everyone's bag, then Act 1 is where my uploads will conclude, and I'll just move on to the next idea. Just thinking out loud.
