Alright! Let's get this started!

My name's Ari, short for Kamaria, though I don't ever use that name outside of official paperwork, and the occasional coffee order (so that I don't get called 'Airy' in public. It's pronounced Ah-ree). I'm a hyena, working at Econocorp and living with my roommate/girlfriend/predator/dom Reiklo. I have a lot of things going on in my life, but those are the two biggest topics I guess? So we'll start with those.

First some questions, though...

Well - I can't say I've heard much of it, except incidentally? Reiklo watches Japanese television shows occasionally, and there's been rock music on there, and it's... fine? I guess?

How about this - link me some to listen to? And I'll give my verdict on it.

Mostly hyena. I think I have a bit of lion or something else mixed in there, I haven't really done any genealogy tests to make sure.

And the penis is just because I was born with it. Unless female hyenas have balls in addition to the pseudo... yeah.

This is probably a good time to mention that while I'm transfem, I'm writing this with the assistance of  KaloFoxfire, who's cis/m, and who's cognizant of trans experiences and has tried to do enough research but still wants to make it know that he's trying to write of experiences he himself hasn't had, and... well, even with good intentions, he might get some things wrong.

Being petted.

Which - I guess maybe that sounds like a really basic thing but being touched, being stroked, being brushed, by someone who you trust - it's just [ansi(i,so nice)].

One of my favorite things is just curling up on the couch next to Reiklo or stretching out across her lap and just zoning out while she pets me and does whatever else it is she's doing. Which - being a pet, whatever else she's doing is a People Thing and not my concern, and that's a bit of a thrill in itself.

Aaaa, I'm a little reluctant to list it out here, because I know Reiklo's going to read this and she's going to just delight in turning whatever fantasy I write here into a reality. And probably surprise me with it.

I could write something like 'getting spitroasted by two elephants' and then the next day there'll be two elephants waiting in the living room when I get home from work, or something...

I've gotten another question or two, but it's about vore stuff, and I'm gonna save those up for a special 'fetish edition' post that'll have content warnings on it. I know not everyone's into the same things I'm into, so I'm going to just keep things at a simmer on the main blog instead of putting all the hard stuff up front.

So, the pet stuff.

There's a sort of legalized, socially acceptable BDSM lifestyle here - actually a few different kinds of lifestyle, but the main one is that of a pet. The short version is you ditch all your clothes (except for a collar), you don't speak unless spoken to, and you give up a lot of your liberties to someone you designate as your owner.

There's safewords, of course, but a lot of pets opt to forego those too, and lock themselves into the lifestyle for days, weeks, or years on end, protected by nothing more than contract terms signed between themselves and their owner. There's a whole branch of law concerning contracts for those pets, and a special set of social workers who make sure they're not being abused, and for those really into it who are willing to let their contracts be traded around there's even pet stores and auctions and such... It's all opt-in, and the social workers make sure nobody's getting pressured into becoming a pet.

I'm not a full time pet, though. I have a day job, and I'm only a pet at home - not *all* the time there, either. But it's how I spend the majority of my free time: naked and collared and subject to the whims of someone else.

There's a lot more to it than that, but that's the general overview.
