Dead Project society. (G)
So, it should be fairly obvious this shits more or less dead.
I haven't been practicing, and I don't have my mic and such on hand anymore.
But one of these days, since my ass is unemployed again, I might fuck around with some dumb ass battle rap shit. Anyone mind if I steal their beats?
because I will prolly do it either way.
In further news, if you like hip hop you should check out
The Optimen- Boom Town
Killer beats and absurd wordplay quite capable of kicking your favorite MCs ass. Some of the most interesting hip hop out there. And from god damn Australians, none the less.
Sage Francis- LI(F)E
His latest album to my knowledge, have been listening to it all afternoon. Sometimes this kind of stuff goes downhill (atmosphere) But Sage has kept up on being progressive with his work. The beats sound like he took a crate of post-rock, and fucked it in the ass until it gave birth to some enlightened hybrid.
Side note on Atmosphere, I still like the new stuff, just feel like he lost his urgency. Perhaps that's just the conservative tentacles of age.
I might do more half assed reviews on here for no one.
