The last half year at work (G)

To preface the following complaints, I love my job. I am a community manager for a small indie title and I absolutely adore working with the community. They’re truly sweethearts.
Now why do I still complain? It’s…..well, the development of the game. Over the last 6 months things have been rarely on track and I have already been mostly stalling and telling quarter-truths. The newest update and community newsletter has resulted in an even worse ticking bomb and it is up to me to be the ears hearing the anger of the community, but my mouth does not speak my words. And there are no ears hearing the very community when I try to relay upstream. We were a very small team which tried their best and was very ground floor with both work and the community. Now that the publisher has taken control of most things that changes.
My contract does not prevent me from having multiple projects at the same time. I would love to make use of that and branch out to elsewhere….
