So, with my book slowly making its way into the public, I wanted to make a Patreon account for people to support my work and get a bunch of additional stuff. The plan was that anyone who supported me would get the next chapter one week early, additional supplemental chapters that add some world building, your name in the book and a free digital copy once it’s all been uploaded.

HOWEVER! Patreon, in their wisdom, have decided to reject my application on the grounds of dubious consent. They seemed to have little else by way of complaint, so it was likely the only hang-up.

I have looked around for alternatives, and come up near empty. SubscribeStar was the most promising, however they require creators to have an existing fan base, so I was denied there also. I may try again in the future. Almost everywhere else don’t allow NSFW creators, so the only place left was itch.io. The only downside here is that I can’t as easily do monthly rollouts or tiers, it’s simply a posting platform with optional donations, so every week I will be adding the next chapter there for anyone who wants to pay $1 to access it early. As for the supplementals, I’ll have to think about what to do about them.

Regardless of the donations, I will be uploading every single chapter here, Weasyl, SoFurry and itch.io for free, every Friday. So please don’t feel like you’re going to miss out on anything by not paying. Even the supplementals were intended to be uploaded publicly, just much later.
