Another school year is nearing close and I find myself holding my breath, anxious to be done so I can move on with my life. I jumped into the nutrition program this year and soon will be qualified to run the dietary department in a hospital/long-term care/school facility etc. Exciting, no? Well, ok, maybe not so exciting. Really? I just want a job. I'm getting a little tired of waiting hand and foot on the retail customers and looking for a new challenge.

I picked up a pencil and drew some doodles at fcn. First time in a couple years. It felt strange to draw after so long without. I actually had to go digging to even find a sketchbook. That's sad. I suppose they must be all packed in a box somewhere. That's also sad. I've lived in this boarding house for two years and I can't remember what is even IN those boxes.

It is my sincerest hope that sometime within the next 12 months I will find a job in my field and a place to live. I have all my fingers and toes crossed, and as soon as I'm done typing this I will cross my eyes as well. Wish me luck!
