Hi yes hello.
A lot has happened since my last journal. Had to re-home my dog in october and I won't lie, it's hit me very hard. But that's not the topic of this journal.

The thing is: I have been very unhappy with my art for quite some time. It's not a matter of switching up subject matters or anything, the process of drawing itself is just something I don't enjoy anymore and fills me with dread.

Because of that, I decided to put this whole drawing thing on an indefinite hiatus. It has been for a while actually and I felt it's time to make a more official announcement.

Save for an older art trade I'm trying to chip away at when I can, (You know who you are and have the patience of a saint), it's probably safe to say there won't be any new art from me in a good while. Who knows, maybe that will change with time but I'm taking things as they come.

I've not stopped creating, though. For the past 3 months I've gotten myself into Blender and have successfully created my first model. (If we exclude the mouth rigging, that one is just a pain in the butt to figure out by myself lmao)

What I know for sure is: I haven't had that much fun making something in years I think. The plan is to make animations. Where I'll post those, I don't know. For one because FA doesn't support them. And if I'm fully honest, I often find myself gravitating towards darker, rougher themes these days. Not sure if I wanna put these on my main haha. At least the one character I made so far will mainly be used for that.
