I'm approaching an important milestone in my life, one that only comes once. A lot of phases come and go within our lives, as not all are permanent. I've been on FurAffinity for over a decade, and never truly felt as though I belonged.
There are many friendly and great artists here on FA, but other than an interest in Sonic art from my youth that I outgrew in my early 20's I've never had an interest in Furry art or anything else furry related.
I joined this site when I was under the age of 19, I had an interest in posting NSFW art and this was the only place that I knew of where I could so and it's similar UI to that of DeviantArt made it easy for me to get used to.
I've met some nice people, from my days of drawing and posting Sonic fan art and fan characters. But those days are long since gone, the friends I made are gone and have also moved on. A phase, nothing more. I haven't posted anything that wasn't anime-related in a long time, as that is what my interest in art has moved on to.

With that phase gone I've had little to no interest in this site, I often forget I even have an account here. And as I've gotten older I've become more and more uncomfortable here, due to it containing a fandom/niche that I've never had an interest in the first place.
I've left this site a few times in the past, each time having to do with something in my personal life that made me withdraw whether it be of my own decision or not.
But this time it is certain, and I've thought about doing it for a long time, my mind has been made up for a while, it was moreso taking the time aside to sit down and do it.
Some of you have been following me for a long time, years even.

Thank you for any support that was given to me, I hope those of you who still frequent this site will continue to enjoy your stay as I did not.
I still post my art on other sites, if you know then you already know, but I won't be posting them as I want to disconnect myself from here if I can. My most time spent here were during one of the darkest times in my life, and I hope you can all respect that.
