I guess posting Rimworld builds is not allowed?
Posted 4 weeks agoHi.
I deleted my Rimworld post to comply with the upload policy here. If I could have more insight into what I need to do to post a build here in Rimworld, that would be helpful. Thank you.

Content Besides Drawing
Posted a year agoGreetings.
I have come to the conclusion that I would like to share artwork of mine that is not drawing, but I am hoping that this follows the guidelines here.
To quote:
“4.1 Screenshots
Screenshots of applications, copyrighted content (movies, tv shows, etc), or websites are not allowed, unless showcasing new, original, user-created content (models, textures, etc). This rule does not apply to games with user created content (Garry's Mod, Second Life, Minecraft, IMVU, etc).”
My case in point here is that I would love to express myself creatively even when I am not drawing, but that creativity involves the use of games. I like playing The Sims 2 for (my novice-level 🫢 I am quite talentless) building, and I like Rimworld for the colony-construction aspect.
I don’t have a profile specifically for these games, though, so my (only?) route for sharing is through here. I don’t have a Mod The Sims account for example lol.
I think that I am sharing this right now because I had an urge to build something in The Sims 2 and then I realized that I don’t have a place to post it outside of here. That’s…fine, but I don’t exactly wanted to be eye-laser-beam-smitten from on-high by the admins because of that lol.
Me: *posts a picture of a crappy building in the Sims*
Me: hi guys I made something :)
Admins: not furry. cease.
So…I guess that the way that the rule is written makes it ok…? “This rule does not apply to games with user created content” Ok so I read that as “hey dumb dumb don’t take a screenshot of like Blender for no reason unless you have a model to show but video games yeah man go wild post your dirt mansion in Minecraft.”
And honestly that’s so liberating if true because I want to share things outside of drawing but I didn’t know if video game screenshots count as a medium.
Um.
Let me know if I am talking out of my bottom because it’s like yelling into the void sometimes on the Internet and I just want to do this right, yeah?

General Status Update / Talking about my art progress
Posted a year agoHi.
I have never written a journal before here; I appreciate the continued patience.
I've been feeling quite lazy these few days (...weeks), and I know that my art takes a lot of time between uploads.
I guess that this is sort-of an apology tour...?
I have been trying to engage in my other hobbies such as playing games. Rimworld just released its new DLC, Anomaly, and I have been enjoying (read: masochistically) the early-game struggle of dealing with horrors beyond human comprehension. :)
Songs of Syx is also a fun city-builder. It lets me be creative in a structured environment, which I like.
Anyway, I just wanted to put this out there that I am continuously sorry for my lack of art progress on here. If this upsets anybody, then I do apologize.
Let me know if there are any (other?) areas that I could improve upon.
Procrastination and sloth are my vices when it comes to art these days, and I do not want to be a disappointment here.
I do enjoy my small gallery. It makes me feel good to finally put my art somewhere on the Internet where it can be looked at publicly. My energy towards it, though, has been lacking. Life has been draining, and I am hopeful to continue this as a hobby going into the future.
Thank you all for your continued patience. :)
