So, it's been an incredibly long time since I've poked my head in here! Just spent a bit updating my profile xD
What's been happening with me?
Well, mainly I've been over on Instagram! That's were you'll find me these days, but while doing so, I forgot about FA.
Anyway! Exciting news! Pompeii has had a design overhaul and is being remade! His suit is gonna be finished by the end of the year. Oooo exciting! I'll post his new design soon :3
I'm gonna try and get back into the swing of FA. I think a post a week to get back into things.

Getting Lumi's partial tonight!!!
Posted 9 years agoGuys!! I'm getting Lumi's partial tonight at the meet!!! It was supposed to be her fullsuit but there was a bit of a mishap with her body this morning. The bags that she was being brought in leaked blue dye onto her fur so Lupe has been washing her all day to get it out and is now currently drying. Being so, I'll get her body in a few days! But will be getting her partial tonight!
I'm super excited and can't wait to get her! :D

Debuting Lumi at FurDu!

I'm getting Lumi's suit at FurDu in two days!!! I didn't think I'd be able to pay her off in time but I did it! Picking her up from her maker on Thursday :D She's being fully con debuted so I have no idea what she looks like and won't until I unbox her! Will defs be doing an unboxing vid and suit up vid too ^^ I'm so excited!!!!

So, updates! I plan on making a twitter for Pompeii and updating my old inactive furry instagram this week and will post up on here when those are ready. Also, Lumi's suit has been started on, so that's super exciting!

So, recently during the past month or so since I've gotten back from my trip, a lot of things have been going on in my life, some good, some bad. With all of these things happening, I took a hiatus off the internet and just my computer in general. It feels weird to be back on it. Anyway, I'm back and will get back into swing of posting things and talking to you all now that things have settled down.

Posted 10 years agoOh man, I'm so excited for tonight and I really can't wait to see everyone at South Bank Fur Meet this evening! It's the one thing I've been looking forward to the most since coming back home, I've missed everyone so much.
I'm taking the Pompangle Dangle along too but only her head and paws since I left her feet back over in America. xD They wouldn't fit in my luggage and are being shipped over to me so I'll only be wearing head and paws until I get them because it won't feel right wearing the bodysuit with no feet. I'm also looking at a friend making me a tail for her so she can be partialed properly.
Since I've still got a while before I leave and I'm a bit bored, I want to know what your plans are for today/week or something you're looking forward to and how you're doing? :3

Posted 10 years agoMy thoughts are really screwing with me again this morning and I don't know who or what I can turn to...
I'm not doing well with being back home, being alone and away from them. Dreams are messing with my head and for one of the first times ever, I woke up feeling like I never should have in the first place. I've never experienced depression on a deep scale before and it's starting to scare me, I don't want this.
To everyone who has watched me over the past week or so, thank you so much. I'll get around to thanking you personally and responding to unanswered notes soon when I'm feeling better.
I'm not doing well with being back home, being alone and away from them. Dreams are messing with my head and for one of the first times ever, I woke up feeling like I never should have in the first place. Posted 10 years agoThe time has come now for me to leave America and head back home...It saddens me greatly, it really does. Leaving my girlfriend, best friend and our adorable puppies is the worst. I had such a fantastic time over here and so many adventures, made many new friends and wonderful experiences. I'll post up all of my pictures and happenings at Arizona Fur Con when I get back home to Brisbane but for the meantime, I've just been enjoying the last of my time here. That being said, I can't wait to get back home either to my family, puppy, kitty and my wonderful friends and furmeets <3

Currently in Las Vegas!!!
Posted 10 years agoWe arrived into Vegas on Monday evening after AZFC and oh my gosh, it's incredible. I never thought I'd go to Vegas and now I have family here. XD Anyway! Just posting this to let you all know what I've been up to after AZFC! Which was amazing and I'll be posting a journal about it and pictures when we get back home on the weekend! I'll also be suiting as Pom later today along Fremont and the Strip! Super excited about that :3
Now, time for some cuteness on what happened while driving up here from Arizona!
We stopped in at Sonic to get drinks and snacks and while we were waiting for our order to come, I put on Pompeii's head and waited for the waitress to come with our food. When she got to our car, she started to read the order but lost track for a few moments when she spotted Pom in the back seat.
After that, she asked what I was as a stuck my head out of the window to chirp at her. She called me adorable and gave me a pat. I love stuff like that x3

Posted 10 years agoWe made it to AZFC safely!!! Arrived this morning at 6 after a 12 hour drive ._. We're all registered but we can't check into our room yet so I'll be getting Pom in the next few hours or so when a room becomes available. Gaaaah, I just want her now. Also, Arizona is hot. xD

Posted 10 years agoWe arrived home safely from Texas at 6:30 this morning after a 17 hour drive. Phew, I'm glad that's over ._. I also got my bird whistles so I'm hard at work getting practice using them. xD Going to be resting all day as we'll be leaving for Arizona Fur Con tomorrow which is another 12 hour drive weee. Also, updates on Pom's suit, I'll be receiving her at the con from her maker. Unfortunately some things happened and she couldn't be shipped to me but that's okay! I'll be getting her Friday morning which I'll film, and as for Skype for anyone out of my friends who are awake at the time for my Aussie fam and friends, it'll be around 1/2am their time. Maybe some will still be awake. xD
I'll be on and posting later but for now, I'm gonna go crash again.

Vent/Don't have to read, just need to get thoughts out
Posted 10 years agoHopefully by writing this, I can maybe get these toxic thoughts out of my head...Maybe...
It's 3 am, another night where I can't sleep as demons are raging a war in my head. I can't settle, can't relax, can't stop thinking...
My girlfriend and best friend are asleep, due to wake up in an hour for work and it's times like this, when they're asleep and at work that these demons have been terrorizing me the most as of the past week. When I'm alone. When I'm in their presence things are fine. When I'm alone and left to my thoughts, it's a different story.
Am I good enough? Was I ever? I don't know...They're better off without me...Will I matter when I leave? I'm not needed...I miss home...I miss my friends and family...I'm so sick of crying when people can't see me. I want these demons and thoughts to go away so I can be myself again...But I feel like I can't actually talk about it...It's not something I do, I don't open up and I put everyone else before me so I'm not a burden...
I'm going to go try cheer myself up by watching Achievement Hunter and Dutchie videos. They've always helped me at my worst...Ugh...
Will be deleting this later...Just needed an outlet...It really doesn't matter anyway...

Arrived safely in USA!! The saga begins....
Posted 10 years agoOh boy, am I jetlagged...What a trip back over here!
The direct flight over was alright, I had two lovely people sitting beside me who talked to me a lot and the in flight entertainment actually had good stuff on it this time - on my flight back home last year it was so boring xD I watched Inside Out which I loved so much and yes, I did shed a tear or two. Damn, that movie was powerful. And I binged on Family Guy, Bob's Burgers and Top Gear. Food wasn't too bad either for plane food. I also only got an hour or two of sleep T.T
Now, for what happened at LAX...gosh...I got through immigration fine, standard questions were asked, collected my luggage from the carousel and went through Customs. That's when it started...oh boy. After I got to the desk and handed over my passport and forms, I was told to go to another line instead of going straight through to check my luggage like last year. I was confused but did as was said.
That line was to Customs and Border Protection...the guy there went through all of the things I had in my luggage, my carry on and checked through my phone while questioning me intensely (what I was doing in the States, who I was staying with, what their names were, what they did for work, what my job was etc), as they were under the assumption that I was possibly coming to the US to work because it was a two month stay - the second in 13 months - or that I was sneaking in to live or something? The guy said that they pull people aside like this all the time and that it's random but yeah...Like, he was pretty chill and all, he wasn't mean and got me relaxed a little bit by talking about Marvel, DC and Pokemon because he saw my Marvel fandom shirts and Pokemon games. He also started telling me about this awesome comic that he loves which I'm now interested in reading. He also showed me pictures from the comic and people cosplaying it on his computer which was pretty cool xD After going through all my things and he was satisfied that I wasn't coming into the States for the wrong reasons, that I was actually coming over for a long vacation, I was let go to carry on my way.
I think I was more annoyed at the fact that he messed up the organisation in my luggage than anything else. xD
It was a pretty terrifying experience to be honest as I don't do well with situations like that and I was almost quite literally sick afterward as it had shaken me up so badly. :(
I then checked my luggage through to Denver and went on to the next terminal for my domestic flight and waited for five hours during the layover, in that time I sketched some little doodles of Pom, got a much needed coffee and talked to some fellow Aussies who were catching the same flight as me.
By the time my next flight left, I was to tired to read or draw so I talked to a lovely girl who was sitting next to me on the flight. Her name was Nancy and she was from Alaska. We talked for a two solid hours, it was great xD
Also, it was sooooo good to be back in Denver airport again, it's a gorgeous airport. :3 I then got my luggage from the carousel and waited for the girlfriend and bestie to pick me up as they were running late xD So, I ended up sitting next to a guy who ended up talking to me about technology taking over the world as we watched a young man attempt to instagram a photo of himself picking his luggage up from the carousel. It was hilarious xD
Once I was picked up, they took me to The Cheesecake Factory (yaaasss) and then it was an hour long drive down to Colorado Springs.
So, that is my epic tale from my adventures thus far and it's only been a day! Now I'm sitting in Nae and Cae's apartment while they're at work, watching Sl1pg8r, eating poptarts and cuddling the beautiful puppies :3
I made it safely and that's all that matters ^^

I think I was more annoyed at the fact that he messed up the organisation in my luggage than anything else. xD
It was a pretty terrifying experience to be honest as I don't do well with situations like that and I was almost quite literally sick afterward as it had shaken me up so badly. :(
I then checked my luggage through to Denver and went on to the next terminal for my domestic flight and waited for five hours during the layover, in that time I sketched some little doodles of Pom, got a much needed coffee and talked to some fellow Aussies who were catching the same flight as me.
By the time my next flight left, I was to tired to read or draw so I talked to a lovely girl who was sitting next to me on the flight. Her name was Nancy and she was from Alaska. We talked for a two solid hours, it was great xD
Also, it was sooooo good to be back in Denver airport again, it's a gorgeous airport. :3 I then got my luggage from the carousel and waited for the girlfriend and bestie to pick me up as they were running late xD So, I ended up sitting next to a guy who ended up talking to me about technology taking over the world as we watched a young man attempt to instagram a photo of himself picking his luggage up from the carousel. It was hilarious xD
Once I was picked up, they took me to The Cheesecake Factory (yaaasss) and then it was an hour long drive down to Colorado Springs.
So, that is my epic tale from my adventures thus far and it's only been a day! Now I'm sitting in Nae and Cae's apartment while they're at work, watching Sl1pg8r, eating poptarts and cuddling the beautiful puppies :3
I made it safely and that's all that matters ^^
Trip to America! Leaving in T-minus 9 hours!
Posted 10 years agoTonight is my last night in Australia for two whole months as in the morning, I'm getting on my international flight to America! It's my second trip over there and I couldn't be more excited! I cannot wait to be back and for all the new adventures ^^ But...it brings a whole lot of sadness at the same time...
When I traveled over to America for my trip last year, I was super excited and rearing to go, (not that I'm not this time, I'm more than ready!) but this time, since attending the furmeets and making so many new and amazing friends throughout the year, it makes me sad that I won't be able to attend the weekly meets and see my friends for the next eight weeks. Last year, I never had a support network like this and the pack of really close friends I have made along the way who I now know of as a second family, to leave them all is like there's a hole in my chest...
Yesterday, my ever wonderful and fantastic girlfriend knew of how I felt and posted to the group on facebook that I was leaving and everyone to give me many hugs, which did happen! All of the hugs made me feel better. I also got the first sausage as decreed by the sausage minion since I'm ditching the meets for a couple of months xD
So yeah, I guess that's how I'm feeling currently. I also feel like I'm going to forget stuff, even though everything is packed already. xD
I'll update you all when I'm on the other side of the pond! :3

100+ watchers?! + a little about me and small life updates

But yeah! I want to thank you all so much for watching this talented-less DutchAD! It means a lot and I can't wait to share my adventures with you all! I've met some amazing people already and I'm so incredibly thankful. :3
So, as the title says I want to say a little bit about myself and future stuff ^^
Let's start!
My name is Finn and I'm a 21 year old from Brisbane, Australia. I've worked in the hospitality industry for two years now which I love but hate at the same time and have been a furry for the past 6 years. Most of those years I had to retract from the community because of family issues but that's a whole different story v.v
I came back to the community late last year and I'm happier and more involved than ever! I'm actually going out to physically meet people by attending the weekly SBFM meets at Southbank, which are amazing and always makes my week better. ^^ I've been attending since February and I love them heaps, I've made so many new friends and it's just wonderful :D Since coming back to the community, I've also attended FurDu which was a blast!
Now, future stuff and things!
In just over a week, I'm heading over to America!!! I'll be staying with my girlfriend and best friend in lovely Colorado, try to get the courage to attend the furmeets there (I'm actually quite shy) and try not to fill the apartment with POP vinyl figures. I'm incredibly addicted to collecting them whoops. xD
Whilst I'm there, I'll also be receiving my full digi fursuit of Pompeii by the ever so wonderful
, which I'm so excited about! ;.; (How I'm going to transport her back to Australia however is another matter entirely xD)
While I'm there, I'll also be going on a giant roadtrip with the girlfriend and bestie as we'll be attending Arizona Fur Con in October!!! I'll also be in America on Halloween which is super exciting!!! Australia doesn't celebrate it at all pfffffft
Convention plans after my America trip are:

Confurgence 2016 ????? It's a maybe at the moment but looking like a real possibility
