Can someone tell me why....?
Posted 11 years ago.... some people take advantage of the kindness of others? It is something I never understood. Maybe someone else can enlighten me as to why? Do they simply not care that someone is giving their all for them? Do they get satisfaction out of it? Or is there any doubt in their minds when they do it? And if you were at one point one of these people but stopped, what prompted you to do it at the time?
Do they feel they have a right to take advantage of their kindness? Or do they just simply not care?
I had to deal with this multiple times. Two ex roommates that tried to live off of us for free.... one even lied about a job offer (he said he was still waiting for it, but he had already denied the job/they had called him and he said no). We had a person we bailed out of room at AC last year not even help pay for food or the room at all. Except she paid for her portion of chinese once while we were there... She wasted all her money on a resin blank at AC instead. :( My mate and best friend picked her up from the airport and she didn't even offer to pay for gas! D: And several of my friends who had been in the same boat/similar situations with ex roommates. My good friend

Posted 11 years agoWhat a day! We ordered 3 more yards of fur for my mate 
wolfycorpse's suit after realizing we didn't have enough to finish his suit of Flu. We were hungry and 
sycoskunk wanted to see the town of Frederick since she's never been. We ate at a very nice Italian restaurant called Olives in town and walked around looking at the shops and we also walked around Carroll Creek. We found a little baby Mallard duck that had been injured. A carp was trying to drown it. A lady found it and got it out. But she just placed it near the mother and left. I don't think Momma duck noticed it as she kept quaking for her baby. But the baby was hurt, cold and in shock. The poor thing couldn't even keep its head up. Momma duck flew off after awhile. She came back once but kept looking everywhere but where the baby lied. We went over to it and it looked near death. Its head was laying side ways on the ground and it was hardly moving. Just shaking a lot. We didn't want to just leave it there so my mate Wolfy picked it up and I used my cell to find a nearby wildlife rehabilitation center. Luckily there was one in Ijamsville near where I used to live with my folks. We rushed back to my car and I drove slowly to the rehabilitation center while my mate kept it warm in his hands. On our way there the baby duck seemed to be perking up! He slept in his hands and snuggled into his chest. He woke up a few times to make his first cheeping sounds since we found him. We finally took a long drive onto a gravel winding road to the rehabilitation center. The lady already had a box prepped for him/her. She placed the baby duck in there and he rested. We chatted for a bit before we left. Then afterwards left and came home. So we saved a life.... the lady said if we hadn't had brought it there it when we did, it would have died. But she said injuries seemed minor and he would more than likely be ok!!!

I am taken, and not interested in outside affairs. My mate/bf will also be with me at the con!!

A hand shake or a hug is ok as long as you ask. I don't want anything beyond those two. Please understand!
How can I find you?
Look for the white and blue fluffy feathered dragon running around, usually tagging along with my mate and bestie!!
Can I visit your room?
Only if we allow ya in. c:
Can I buy you drinks?
Water, gatorade/powerade, most fruit juices, and NON-DIET (regular) sodas are ok. I do not drink alcohol and being in suit, I will need to stay hydated. And I also have a weird reaction to something in diet sodas (some additive). If you buy me regular Code Red Mt. Dew or Baja Blast though I will love ya for days!
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Hugs are fine if you ask. Snuggles are only for my mate and bestie. x3

Very!! Just do not act creepy towards me plz. c: Otherwise I am very happy and bubbly, and always hyper and full of energy, as long as you treat me and my mate and my bestie sycoskunk with respect. c: If you don't then watch out. >_>

I do not do any of these. I do not drink, smoke or do drugs so please do not ask me for a cig or offer me alcohol. I do not drink. And I certainly do NOT do drugs. ._.

When not in suit, feel free to glomp me if you know me well enough, or yell "PEARL" while waving frantically (or SNOW works too!!). DO NOT glomp me if I am in suit as I may topple over, and my mask has already broken once! It is still not fully repaired so I have to be extra careful when suiting. Do not glomp/hug/tackle me when I am in suit. If you want a hug please come in front of me and ask first. x3 If you want my attention and I am in suit, just yell my name and wave frantically. Posted 11 years agoSo it has been awhile since I wrote on here. Figured I would update you all on what has been going on.
So, it doesn't seem like I will have Snow's head back in time for Anthrocon.... I had not seen any WIP pics of the head being repaired by
sharpe19. I shipped it to her mid of last month. Well, I actually shipped it to her twice. Once we had that fiasco with Fed Ex and it never got to her (it got sent back to me), so I had to re-ship it via USPS since I no longer trusted Fed Ex after that. They tried shipping it to the wrong address, so Fed Ex really screwed up. :I When she finally got it, she said when I sent it to her "she could definitely get it done by AC." But time has passed, and I have seen her working on other things, but not my mask of Snow. I kept asking for updates, and she said she was chipping away, and was trying hard to get the apoxie off. She said she was trying to remove it without destroying the mask. Sadly I am starting to doubt I can have it by AC. When I asked her last week if she thinks she can get it done, she seemed to stress "she would try." :I But she then went on to ask if she could just "reinforce it then finish it after the con." Which I said no to for obvious reasons - I already paid for shipping twice. It was promised to me by AC. If it doesn't get done, I do not wanna pay for shipping again. Fed Ex lost it once, and I then paid for USPS. Never got $$ back from Fed Ex for their error in the shipping so I am just not gonna deal with it all again... I mean I am glad she was able to squeeze me in between her commissions, especially since she is doing the repairs for free (since it was her pre-2013 bases that caused it to break in the first place)! But here is good news!! ino89777 has been super awesome and working hard to get ~Pearl~ done by AC!!!!!!!! , and . I only have 6, and since they will have their Angel Dragon suits and be at AC they get the dibs on them. x3
I also plan to try to enter the AC dance prelims! I am already signed up as Pearl. x3 Cannot wait!

Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to an amazing Boyfriend
Posted 11 years agoSo today celebrates two very special events. It is not only my boyfriend wolfycorpse's Birthday, but today also celebrates 1 year of him and I being together!!!! I must say I feel like the happiest wolf in the world to have such an amazing person in my life...
The past year has been an interesting, amazing, and stressful one. A year ago I still remember speaking to him over the phone, when he was plastered off of his arse and speaking in a drunken slur "how he loves me and wants to have my babies." XD We got together on this very day a year ago as well even though we were still far apart. We just knew we loved each other that much that even distance at the time was not a factor. Time flew by since then though, and soon enough we met up at Anthrocon 2013, where he fursuited as Dusk (which I had bought for him as a premade off FurBuy), and I suited as Snow, and we got to not only meet for the very first time, but just have fun at the con!!
He then moved up here in August, but he also wanted to just be here with me, so he sacrificed all he had down there just to be with me. Sold a lot of his belongings just to come here, and our best friend drove him all the way here to be with me. She had to head back for the time being. Of course now she lives with us also!! And is an amazing person. I love both wolfycorpse and sycoskunk so much and will give my whole body and soul to protect them. Both of them are my best friends and Wolfy is of course the most amazing lover a woman could ask for... mess with him then you mess with me.
During the 9 months since he moved here, we had some rough patches on both sides. I had trust issues still I had to work through due to past break ups, and we broke up for a bit but still tried to work it out, and we finally got through those rough patches and are now back together! We also wanted to find a larger apartment since we had such rough times with our old place, plus we wanted our best friend sycoskunk to move here with us, so I put a hefty penny into helping us move. We also were going to have two other people move in with us.... sadly though they just saw it as an opportunity to mooch off of our kindness and home, and the one of the two who was living with us when we finally moved lied about not being able to find work. He was accepted at the Walmart my mate and bestie works at the day after his interview, but he denied the job when they called him. He lied to us saying "he was still awaiting a call." We lost some funds in the process between that and my car repairs, and I still have not earned much of it back yet, but time will fix that!
Of course we also went to Fur the 'More, and also dragged sycoskunk with us as she was now living with us, and just had a blast!!! Got to see new and old faces there, and just have fun!
I could not be happier to have this amazing man in my life, and could not be happier!! He sacrificed everything to be here with me and help form our lives together!!! DreamVisionCreations bunny blank, handpaws, claws and stuff, and other fursuit making goodies to help him and SyCo make his fursuit of Flu by AC!! I cannot wait until we can get his suit made!
I hope there are many happier moments ahead for both of us, and I hope I can make both our anniversary and his Birthday a memorable one!
wolfycorpse's Birthday, but today also celebrates 1 year of him and I being together!!!! I must say I feel like the happiest wolf in the world to have such an amazing person in my life...The past year has been an interesting, amazing, and stressful one. A year ago I still remember speaking to him over the phone, when he was plastered off of his arse and speaking in a drunken slur "how he loves me and wants to have my babies." XD We got together on this very day a year ago as well even though we were still far apart. We just knew we loved each other that much that even distance at the time was not a factor. Time flew by since then though, and soon enough we met up at Anthrocon 2013, where he fursuited as Dusk (which I had bought for him as a premade off FurBuy), and I suited as Snow, and we got to not only meet for the very first time, but just have fun at the con!!
He then moved up here in August, but he also wanted to just be here with me, so he sacrificed all he had down there just to be with me. Sold a lot of his belongings just to come here, and our best friend drove him all the way here to be with me. She had to head back for the time being. Of course now she lives with us also!! And is an amazing person. I love both
wolfycorpse and sycoskunk so much and will give my whole body and soul to protect them. Both of them are my best friends and Wolfy is of course the most amazing lover a woman could ask for... mess with him then you mess with me.During the 9 months since he moved here, we had some rough patches on both sides. I had trust issues still I had to work through due to past break ups, and we broke up for a bit but still tried to work it out, and we finally got through those rough patches and are now back together! We also wanted to find a larger apartment since we had such rough times with our old place, plus we wanted our best friend
sycoskunk to move here with us, so I put a hefty penny into helping us move. We also were going to have two other people move in with us.... sadly though they just saw it as an opportunity to mooch off of our kindness and home, and the one of the two who was living with us when we finally moved lied about not being able to find work. He was accepted at the Walmart my mate and bestie works at the day after his interview, but he denied the job when they called him. He lied to us saying "he was still awaiting a call." We lost some funds in the process between that and my car repairs, and I still have not earned much of it back yet, but time will fix that!Of course we also went to Fur the 'More, and also dragged
sycoskunk with us as she was now living with us, and just had a blast!!! Got to see new and old faces there, and just have fun!I could not be happier to have this amazing man in my life, and could not be happier!! He sacrificed everything to be here with me and help form our lives together!!! Happy 22nd Birthday,

Look for the white and blue fluffy feathered dragon running around, usually tagging along with my mate and bestie!!

Can I buy you drinks?
Water, gatorade/powerade and sodas are ok. I do not drink alcohol and being in suit, I will need to stay hydated. If you buy me Code Red Mt. Dew or BAJA BLAST (YEESH it is in stores now! :D) though I will love ya for days!
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Hugs are fine if you ask. Snuggles are only for my mate and bestie. x3

Very!! Just do not act creepy towards me plz. c: Otherwise I am very happy and bubbly, and always hyper and full of energy, as long as you treat me and my mate and my bestie sycoskunk with respect. c: If you don't then watch out. >_>
Will you be going to parties?
Nope.
Do you do drugs/drink/smoke?
I do not do any of these. I do not drink, smoke or do drugs so please do not ask me for a cig or offer me alcohol. I do not drink. And I certainly do NOT do drugs. ._.
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
When not in suit, feel free to glomp me if you know me well enough, or yell "PEARL" while waving frantically (or SNOW works too!!). DO NOT glomp me if I am in suit as I may topple over, and my mask has already broken once! It is still not fully repaired so I have to be extra careful when suiting. Do not glomp/hug/tackle me when I am in suit. If you want a hug please come in front of me and ask first. x3 If you want my attention and I am in suit, just yell my name and wave frantically. If I do not hear you then my mate or bestie will!

Gah I am soooo excited, you have NO IDEA!!! I literally SQUEALED when she told me that I would be brought to life in suit form by AC!! You should be seeing me at the con, likely in suit most of the time lol! I will likely rarely be wearing my other fursona suit of Snow, unless of course I get too overheated in Pearl. :3

So this is my first FA journal on this page! I do have another page for my main fursona, ~snow~!! Most of my updates and personal info. are on that page. This one is just for stuff about Pearl the ice angel dragon!
So I am sure a lot of people who are watching me wanna know more about me ^w^
Well, my name is Pearl, and I was created by my creator ~snow~ about 8-9 months ago from today. :D I was approved as an 
by the amazing ino89777. She is the sweetest person I know, and so happy to also be getting made into physical form by her hopefully sooner than later! She is going to be making my suit for me of Pearl as I already commissioned her and paid my deposit to get her made! :3
I am super hyper, and always dumb happy (it is why I often get called a 'derp' xD). I am also forgetful at times, but it is never intentional!! I love everything and everyone, and sometimes my excitement and hyperness gets to me. x3 I am sure it gets everyone at times, right?
My eyes always look like I am hyper/high/happy (they are always super dialated!), but that is because I AM always happy and hyper! I am a bubble full of energy always ready to explode, in the good sort of way! Ya know, the one that explodes fluff and feathers ;3
I dunno what sounds I make yet... still need to figure that out!
And welp that is about all I can think of now!! Oh and I am mated to wolfycorpse's angel dragon fursona HYRO! Pics of him will be up hopefully soon ^^
I also love shiny things, fluffy things, squeaky things, much like my other half ~snow~ does but I do on a more extreme level. I also love ice and the snow! I wish it could stay that way all year round!
My character also breathes ice particles instead of fire like most dragons. She is after all an ice angel dragon! She usually wears a fake icicle dangling from the hoop earring on her left ear. To show how much she loves ice and the snow! :D
