Original Character Questionaire!
Posted 10 years agoI nicked this one from
the-nocturnal-rodent.
1. Your first OC ever?
- That was ages ago, and I forgot his name, to be honest. I think it was...actually an OC based off of Flamedramon and I named him Titan, which is funny considering that Titan wouldn't be an official secondary character until later on.
2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?
- I like all of them, but Titan and Balun have to be my personal favs.
3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?
- No. Not yet, at least...
4. A character you rarely talk about?
- Cantina, Ari, Flora, and Midori.
5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?
- Dustin. :/
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
- There are none.
7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?
- Sir, I'm a writer, so I've written stories for almost everyone.
8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here!
- I RP with almost all of them, even some characters that are in the works.
9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?
- I may hand over Ari and Midori to someone who will use them more often than I.
10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?
- Cantina. Lots of feathers and fluff.
11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a "sunshine"?
- What do you mean? All my characters are nice, if that's what you're asking.
12. Name an OC that isn't yours but who you like a lot
- Oh, lord! Here comes the giant list!
• Nightshade (Kadath's OC)
• Jay the Blue jay (The-Nocturnal-Rodent's OC)
• Priscilla, Janice, Gravity, Victoria, Muffin, and Adyna (GravityInbound's OCs)
• Mhinera (Rahiros' OC)
• Rubbertex (RubbertexRaccoon's OC)

...aaaand that's about all I can think of at the moment.
13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
- Dustin can cause a bit of trouble on his adventures, but he says "That's what makes it an adventure; that's what makes it exciting!"
14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory

15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people?
- Of course!
16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)?
- Titan and Dustin are the most intellectual of the group, so they'd be good at a lot of school subjects. Balun would probably ace it at chemistry, but would end up blowing up the teacher.
17. Any OC OTPs?
- I'm not sure...Dustin and Flora are supposed to be mates, but I'm not sure what Titan and the others may have for GFs/BFs.
18. Any OC crack ships?
- What the hell is wrong with you?
19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)
- Titan means the most to me, primarily because he's like the brother I've never had.
20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?
- Titan is the best singer of the bunch, but Dustin likes singing in his Tenor voice. :3
21. Your most artistic OC
- Uhm...none of them really are that artistic, unless you mean musically artistic, then Dustin and Titan would be them. Maybe Flora would like taking up drawing...
22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
- People seem to like referring to Dustin as a dragon for some reason. :/
23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?
- Dustin. Fucking christ, Dustin has changed over the years. I've changed almost everything about him down to his name, going for Leon Bachman as a lion fursona before going back to Dustin until what he is now. Simply put, there are too many changes to list here.
24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?
- I wanna meet all of them! They all seem like tons of fun!
25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)

26. Have you ever had to change your OC's design or something else about them against your will?
- No.
27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?
- I was drawing Balun while listening to "Cudi the Kid" on loop for some reason.
28. Your most dangerous OC?
- Dustin and Titan are both OP as hell. I mean, they're gods, so, whattaya expect? X3

- Dustin Bach would have nothing but inflation pictures on his blog. :/
32. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why?

33. Your shyest OC?

- No, but I have plans on making a two-headed character. :3

Kiriban? Not Yet...
Posted 10 years agoAlright, so the last Tuesday, I created a journal that talked of a Kiriban involving my watching list, and...like the silly little lizard I am, I had no idea what a Kiriban even was. To those of you who don't actually know, it's a special giveaway or a prize to anybody who provides evidence for being a certain number watcher. Basically, if you make it to being my umpteenth watcher, you'll get a prize. Well, as it turns out, I didn't really plan on giving away something for my 200th watcher, so as it turns out, if you happened to be my 200th watcher, then I apologize. As most of you know, I appreciate each and every watch I get, and to everyone who decided to click that green button on my profile, I love you for becoming part of my world, the world of Sarinx, the world of ~Dustin~ and all his creations.
With that said, I recently thought about doing more artwork. I want to work on things, creatively drawing and writing and making more music, but I've run into a massive complication. My Yamaha DTXplorer drum set recently met the end of its' 5-year life, no longer functional as the audio dial that changes the kit's sounds broke entirely. First, the wheel fell off, then the knob it was attached to broke, and then it ended up getting so bad to a point that the dial itself fell into the module, rendering it useless. So my only form of musical practice in my house, the one thing I used to enhance my skills on the drums is now gone. It's sitting there in the garage now totally useless to me. $800 and several months of layaway payments from long ago have now ended up in this. The drum counter says I've hit those pads almost 2 million times, so it had its' uses for many years, but now, sadly, it's pretty much dead. The module and interface works, but with the primary component/controller broken, it might as well be completely dead.
I'll have to find a job and work some serious cash up in order to replace it, since I want to get a Roland if I want to get a whole new set. Unless I can find a way to get a replacement module for the kit, well...I can kiss my baby goodbye.
200 WATCHER KIRIBAN THING
Posted 10 years agoHOLY SHIT, 200 PEOPLE ARE WATCHING ME.
SENPAI NOTICED ME REAL HARD. ♥
Seriously, thank you guys for such an amazing thing. I know I used to have more on my old account, but I still feel great that there are 200 people out there who added me to their watch list so they could keep track of what I was doing.
You guys are the best. I would make sweet passionate love to all of you if I could, but I think my cock would hurt a lot afterward... :/
My Schedule for the Rest of the School Year; Probably Hiatus
Posted 10 years agoWell, just when I thought I had time to get some stuff done, school pops up with an outrageous proposal.
Basically, I have no days off for the rest of the school year. I get May 25th, and that's it. From now until June 4th, I have only one day off from school, and it's on a Monday next month. Cool, guys, real cool. .3.
Oh well, it's not like I do much here anyway...
Whatever.
The New Beta for F.A...

For Real Talk - ATC & Full Sail University
Posted 10 years agoSo, earlier today, while I was browsing the internet and talking to a friend of mine over the phone, I had an experience that made me re-think my education plans once again. You see, I think the pressure of criticism, especially in the music world should I happen to get a large following, would make me discouraged, seeing as I could barely handle getting yelled at by a famous YouTuber for making a simple joke over some fan made video game.
Therefore, I'm going to do what I love even more than making music: Writing.
Yeah, I discussed with a friend of mine that I liked making music more than I did writing, but I realize that the arts and writing pertain more to my interests in the furry fandom rather than just the real world. After all, I have characters, and what good are characters if you aren't going to use them in some form of visual or textual art?
So, you know what? I'm goig to be an author. Just like David Feldman, just like Ray Bradbury, just like Rick Riordan (all my favorite writers), and I'm hopefully going to sell my books to creative minds all across the fandom, and maybe even do some commissioned stories and writing! I'd be glad to get those creative details onto paper/Word document, and...to be honest with you, I like reading sexy details rather than looking at them in a picture, even though it's fun to look at plump/puffy butts... >///>
Also, all my writing will be original, so no fanfictions!
Good Friday - 3 Hour Silence?
Posted 10 years agoHappy Good Friday to all my Christian buddies! I personally don't have any religion whatsoever, but...yeah, my Granny talked to me about how she was brought up as a Catholic and how they would be silent in the house for 3 hours because of the whole Crucifixion thing. Then a priest would come to the house, bless the house, stuff like that. Sounds pretty much like a Catholic thing to do, and I respect that a lot, but...bah, I believe in nature and the cosmos only, so a smudge stick works just fine. X3
I have no idea whether or not I'm going to be doing anything special for Easter, other than binging myself on chocolate, cookies, and maybe even some candy. Who knows? I have a book that I'm reading and a few walkthroughs that I'm doing, so...we don't have too much planned this weekend. :/
Easter used to be so much fun when I was younger...wish I could go on an Easter Egg hunt and have the Easter Bunny bring me a huge basket of candy like he did when I was 7 or 8.
In other random news, I have something I want to confess:
I'm going to be really happy when I finally get a job and have my own car to drive so I can go out and buy stuff with my own cash. I'm thinking about coloring my hair red so I can be 100% ginger. Plus, I'm really excited to buy some more feminine clothing so I can indulge in some crossdressing fun when I have some private time. I'm really interested in trying on some panty hose; they look super soft and comfy and snuggle your legs and stuff. >.///.>
I also really like the idea of wrist warmers, like arm bands, similar to these things. They also look really cozy, plus sometimes I enjoy pulling my sleeves up to my fingers and making it look like I have wrist warmers. >w<
I'd make an amazing femboy. >3<

Fighting Against Depression - A Thank-You Note to All of You
Posted 10 years agoHey guys, I'm staying home from school today due to some depression issues I've been having since yesterday. I slept really badly last night so I'm in a bit of pain, and the main cause of my depression is also the same reason I'm in pain.
You see, I know a lot of people really like the fact that I'm a chub, and I myself love a nice, plump pal, but I'm very insecure about my lack of athleticism. Yesterday, in my P.E class, we were outside on the basketball court, and my friends and I were hovering around a very short basket ball hoop, which - for a short basketball hoop - was around 3 meters tall. (I'm bad at judging the height of things so it may be less than that.) I kept trying to jump and hang off the rim of the hoop, and I kept trying and pushing myself to do it. I felt like I was so close, but I could only tap my hand against it. I kept trying and trying, my friends doing what I was trying to do with ease in between attempts, and on the final jump, I sliced my hand open because I grabbed at the ropes instead of the rim. Angry and embarrassed, I punched a nearby padded surface and then broke down crying on the table. All my friends came to comfort me, which seemed to help, but later that day I went home and ended up crying really hard at home. Some of my friends on Skype helped me talk it out, and because of the depression that came from my lack of athleticism, I - for some retarded reason - started questioning my life and how I would make it into the career I wanted to be in. A couple of really good people like
shycario~ and
gravityinbound helped me calm down given the hour I spent bawling and talking down about myself, and I actually said some really rude things while I was depressed, which made things worse for myself, but I think the thing that made me truly cheer up was the simplest thing: having such beautiful people that I call friends tell me that they love me.
shinytotodude, Shycario, all these beautiful people that I surround myself with simply telling me that they love me always makes me feel truly special, and that alone was enough to cheer me up. The simple knowledge that I have people who are so talented and so kind and so caring saying that I'm a good person and that they love me is enough to make me feel good on the inside.
So with that said, I'm going to say this: NO MORE DEPRESSION. I refuse to let my depression get the better of me from this point onward. I will not bash myself, I will not be hard on myself, I will not worry about my life and more than I already do, I will not tell myself the negative things that I've told myself any more. I will wake up, fresh and ready, and take on the world with a smile and a spring in my step. I will take things in my stride a little easier than I have been. I will live in the now instead of thinking of the future. I will take much better care of myself; I'll try to sleep better, brush my teeth more often, work out, smile, laugh, eat healthier, and overall keep my body and mind healthier and happier. I will accept the things I cannot change, and make an effort to change what I can change. I will look to the past and feel less ashamed of myself. Yes, I have a reputation for being angry, for being mean to people, for betraying friends so dear to me. But that is the past. That's behind me now. That's what I like to call "a time I can never live in again." Once it happened, its happened, and I cannot go back and change it. I can simply work things to better myself and better my reputation. Instead of screaming and getting upset, I will calm myself down, drink some wonderfully cold water, listen to something calming, rub my shoulder, scratch the back of my head gently; think of something funny, and maybe even laugh out loud when the time is appropriate, even if nothing funny is happening at that moment.
I know I'm rambling at this point, and I desperately need to lay down and relax, but all I have to say is this:
Thank you all. Each and every one of you; those beautiful people who have put up with my foolishness; those of you who would say to me that they loved me even though I disrespected them; those of you who gave me a second, third, fourth, fifteenth chance to change. I love you all, and just know that you've made a teenager's life just a little bit happier. Thank you all, my beautiful furry, scaly, avian friends. All of you make me smile and feel good on the inside. Every single one of you, have a good day/night, and remember that this heart flutters happily at the thought of you all. ♥

Key West 2015 - So Much Amazing!
Posted 10 years agoAlright, guys, hold onto your butts, because I have so much to tell you guys about our road trip yesterday!
So, all three of us - Mom, Dad and I - woke up at around 4 a.m, which is ridiculously early in the day for any of us to be functioning, and we began to pack up the car. We had a cooler full of sodas, water bottles, sandwiches, gatorade, and, of course, some of my Dad's beer. We also packed a few changes of clothing, and some fishing materials, along with a couple of pillows for the car ride to and fro. I grabbed my essentials, like my phone, my medication, and my sunglasses, all prepped for the occasion, and we all headed out. The first thing I did when I got in the car was plug my phone into the auxiliary jack and presented to my father a custom album I had made for him, just like the album I made for my Mom, only with his desired number of songs and a few surprises mixed into it. The album featured mostly metal and rock songs from groups like Testament, Paul Gilbert, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Ministry, KMFDM, and Van Halen, just to name a few. The album pretty much lasted us the entire ride to Key Largo, which took about a few hours. Along the way we made a detour and accidentally ended up making a wrong turn, but the upside is that I got to see the Miami International Airport, which was amazing, and I got to see a few planes landing over our heads!
So, our first stop in Key Largo was actually at a restaurant for breakfast. I needed to use the restroom, so Mom pointed out something that looked like it had a decent restroom, which was some kind of cafe called "Mangrove Mike's Cafe," where we decided to eat breakfast. It was a pretty good choice, too, since I had one of the most delicious meals in a long time. It was called the Country Scramble, and it was essentially Eggs, Ham, and Potatoes drenched in Sausage Gravy. I got some tater tots and toast on the side, and once I dug into it, it was heavenly. I savored every bite until I actually got full. The plate still had a lot of food on it, but I was full, so I just left it.
We made a couple other stops in between that I haven't documented*, but the next highlight was that we made it to a bridge somewhere and decided to go fishing. The view was beautiful, and I actually managed to catch a fish my Dad called a "grunter," which actually made these cute grunting noises. We obviously released both of them to roam happily, since we had no use for them, but needless to say, we had a blast out there. From there, we began to drive further into Isla Morada, which was the middle island, but my Dad saw a sign that said Key West was only 60 miles away. So, we decided to go all the way, all the way south, and all the way to "Mile 0," the Southernmost Tip of the United States. I got to see it up close and personal, but there were too many damn tourists in the way, so I couldn't get a decent photograph of it.
We then made our way to Fort Jackson Taylor, which was an old Naval Base built in the mid 1800's and used during the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, WWI, WWII, and even the Cuban Missile Crisis. We got to see many old parts of the building, old cannons, mortars, shells, cannon balls, an old blacksmith's shop, and stood atop the building. Funny thing is that there are still military activities that go on near the base, and there were people on break playing basketball before the bell went off for them to go back to their shift! Of course, I couldn't photograph this because it's incredibly illegal, and I didn't want the military on me about a simple picture, 'cause that would be scary to even think about!
We made a stop at a gas station after driving around for a bit to get some stuff to go with lunch. This part was a little awkward because this woman was confused about why one of the customers' lottery tickets wasn't being accepted. Her co-worker (who I'll call John to be respectful since talking about someone behind their backs is incredibly rude), told her one of them expired and opened a new line since there were a lot of people coming in at this point. He rang us up, gave us our stuff, and I told him to have a better day, and he replied, "Thank you, hun." At this remark, I tried not to blush or chuckle, since my Dad's horribly homophobic, but even though I have a lot of people on here call me hun (especially males), I felt this strange sense of joy hearing a male call me that. I mean, he wasn't the most attractive person I've ever met, but for someone to openly call me hun like that was...really pleasant, to be honest. I don't know what it is, but...anyways, we ate lunch, and I think that's pretty much the last thing we did in Key West.
On our way back home, we stopped back in Key Largo to grab some souveneirs from a place called "Shell World," which was a neat place, but there were some scents and some kid complaining like crazy that gave us all a headache, but I grabbed a piggy bank with the Southernmost Point cone on the side of it and a deck of pirate themed playing cards. We also got a key lime pie and put that in the cooler then started the long drive home. Sadly, the piggy bank I bought broke, and the only souvenier I have left are my playing cards. But, let's be honest here, was I really going to use that piggy bank? Probably not. But souveneirs don't matter to me; it's all about the memories, which were some amazing ones, and I have to say, I had a lot of fun in the Florida Keys.
I have a few pictures to post on here for you guys, which may take me a while, so expect your inbox to be filled with photographs from me today.

Posted 10 years agoFiltering - Why I'll Sound Different from Now On
Posted 10 years agoOkay, so since I have nothing else to post at the moment other than journals that a lot of people seem to ignore, I'd like to say that from now on, when I'm either on Skype or on Fur Affinity posting these journals, I'm going to try and filter a majority of the things that I say. Why? Because I'm not happy with the way that I talk online.
Vulgarities, rudeness, bad manners, I want to get rid of a few words out of my vocabulary. So, I'm going to sound a bit different than as per the usual both on here and on Skype.
Well, not sound, but may articulate and use different words.
So, let's give this a try.

It's Finally Happening! (Update on Life)
Posted 10 years agoToday is the day where I'm finally going to have my own bedroom. We've been working on moving some stuff out of here for the past few days (which hsn't happened yet, but tonight, I finally spend my first night in my Grandfather's "den," also known to normal people as his office. This is the room he used to do his "work" in, and in time, all his paperwork, all his knick knacks, his items are either going to be stored away in boxes or trashed. Granddad's now in the past, and my future resides here in this room. There's never anything promised in life, but this is something I'm very excited about and hoping I'll spend plenty of time in this room.
Problem is, with all this dust in the room and the lack of activity in this room of the house, the air is stuffy, and the weird aura of the room, like some nasty spirit, is hovering over this room. I'm not spiritual and I don't believe too much in ghosts, but there is an ominous vibe in the room, like he's still in this room watching me type this right now. I had to take a photo of him and a guy named Vincent (a very famous Vincent, the one from GOODFELLAS) off the wall, because I felt like Granddad's eyes were still watching me, even in that photograph.
This isn't a normal thing for me to feel, and I don't believe in any form of supernatural ghosts, spirits, or other specters, but the negative energy I feel in this room with all his stuff in here feels like there's still part of him in here. Like some residual energy left over.
Ah, I'll calm down and sleep here tonight, it's nothing to worry about. Besides, my Granddad's computer has SPEAKERS!
I'M HOOKED.

What's Happening? (Yes, another IMVU Journal...)
Posted 10 years agoFur Affinity is exploding over people who are threatening to leave F.A because of what's happening between IMVU and Fur Affinity. Talk of staff incompetence, stolen artwork...what's even going on? I don't understand what IMVU's doing, but I'm scared for the future of this website.
This is the only website that I feel safe browsing. DeviantArt is full of trolls and anti-furs, and I know a lot of people like Weasyl, but fuck that website. I tried using the site as a guest, and I could not find ANY way of browsing artwork. No search engine, no browse section, no way of filtering content, why do people like Weasyl so much? It's so confusing it makes me want to pass out from stress!
Please, don't leave me here alone...I don't want my friends to go because of the drama...I love you all and I want you guys...I don't want to convert to another website just because everyone left...I'm scared...
I love those of you who still comment and at least stay around to look at what I'm doing...but I don't know what to do.
Besides, I'm not influential enough for IMVU to steal any artwork from me. So, maybe that's it...
I don't even know what's happening, but I'm afraid...
Nevermind! I panicked. X3
~A Few Things I Want to Admit~
Posted 10 years agoHeya, guys, before I begin this journal, I'd like to say that this lizard is now on his
SPRING BREAK! YEAH!
So I should be able to start having some more activity on both Fur Affinity and Skype.
However, I'm not making any promises, as I have a few things I need to do in my life.
• My father wants to take me for some personal driving lessons in his Ford F-150 from like 2004, so that ought to be fun1.
• I have to take a TABE (Test of Adult Based Education) sometime this week.
• I might have to start job hunting.
• I will be taking a road trip to the Keys on Wednesday.
• All of us need to start pushing to get my bedroom set up so I no longer have to sleep on the living room floor2.
• I need to connect with friends some more and maybe get some community service done, but that 's highly unlikely on both parts.
Needless to say, this week may either be the laziest week of March, or the busiest, depending on what happens.
Of course, that's not why I titled the journal the way I did.
No, no, no; I titled the journal that because I have a few confessions to make.
• Dustin Bach is obviously not my real life name. My real name is Dustin R. Hubacher3, and the reason I've been wanting to keep that a semi-secret is because I'm ashamed of my family name. On my father's side - the side where I get the Hubacher name from (obviously) - is full of tyrants and horrible people. My Grandfather obviously was a complete asshole, but my Great Grandfather was even worse. He was abusive, had way too many children, and even beat the shit out of all his children. My Granny on the same side had a bit of a better family, but you know how I feel about her and her mother4.
• I don't like roleplaying anymore...to an extent. I've grown incredibly picky with the people I like to Roleplay with on Skype and on Fur Affinity. I may establish a set list of rules eventually, but I have quite a few friends on Skype who will either start a roleplay in order to begin conversing with me, or even act like they want a normal conversation, then ask to RP. I don't want to do a daily RP unless I actually enjoy these RPs. If I'm constantly being asked to RP by you every single day, then I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to say no every time. I only RP when I WANT to RP. That goes for everybody. That's one of the reasons why I hold off on replying to RP notes for extended periods of time. Not because I dislike you or don't want to RP with you, it's just because I'm not in the mood to RP at that specific moment. Don't bug me about it either. If you ask, "Can we RP now?" every five minutes, that really pisses me off for many reasons. This isn't directed towards anybody, I'm just getting this off my chest because holy shit it bothers me a lot.
• I'm actually a bit obsessive and slightly annoying in real life. What does this mean? Well, first and foremost, I have a slightly flamboyant and girly voice, but my demeanor is totally masculine. If I act like a flaming homo at any moments, I can come off as a total fag, but of course I don't really care about it. What I do care about is the fact that I am LOUD. I am a total loudmouth, and cackle in falsetto in a really high tone.
Some might not really pay much attention to that, but what you might pay attention to is the fact that I ramble. I ramble a lot, and about the same subjects most of the time. Funny thing is, I'm really wanting to burn a proverbial bridge with someone who does the same thing, but only on a much higher scale. For example, my obsession with Tomb Raider has got me on a nostalgia bomb and has me talking about it almost all the time. If you want to talk about something else, please let me know because I'm horribly insecure about both hypocrissy and being annoying.
• I'm a pervert. I'll be the first to admit that I'll try to hit a home run with someone if I really like them, and I'll openly talk about my sexual desires to anybody who would be willing to listen, sometimes revealing too much to someone and creeping them out to a point where they might not want to hang out with me anymore. Again, if this is something that makes you feel uncomfortable, please tell me before I disclose anything that I want to stuff up my butt- I mean...nevermind.
• I'm very vulgar. I curse so many fucking times, you'd shit a brick in a fucking heartbeat. *melts*5
• I'm gassy. I will belch in your face and fart in an exaggerated mannerism without giving half a damn about it. -3-
And, uh, that's about all I have to get off my breast- chest! Chest...not breasts...chest....yeah.
1 = Sarcasm implied.
2 = I don't actually sleep in the living room, I sleep on a mattress on the floor in the living room.
3 = This is unless you know me on FaceBook, in which case you already know me enough.
4 = I hate the both of them. My Great Grandmother was worse than my Granny, from what I've heard.
5 = I am so, so sorry...
