Posted 10 years agoI've found the most addictive non-substance drug since music. It's a video game called Trove, and it's free to play on Steam!
Oh gosh, in the past two days I've spent at least 15 hours on that game, and I'm still going! Building structures, mining strange ores, fighting bosses and pillaging dungeons. It's been absolutely fantastic!
Now, I do have a bit of a favor to ask of anybody who would be glad to provide some links and whatnot.
I'm working on a video game music playlist on YouTube for me to listen to whilst playing Trove, and so far I have quite a bit of music for me to enjoy, however I would like some help building it.

Sorry I haven't been active here lately. Been very lazy since the Christmas break started. School has been really tiring this year, giving me little to no energy or time to draw even on weekends, and I've been wanting to spend more time with you guys on here.

I was the DJ at the school dance yesterday, which was fun, but also a bit stressful. People kept requesting all this music and they wanted to hear songs that I didn't have, so they made the stage off limits to the kids. Needless to say, it was a tough crowd to please, but halfway through the show, I decided to do a live mix using my launchpad, and everyone loved it. Even those who didn't usually dance got up and started grooving. c:
So it was a success in the end. ^.=.^

Sharing Laughter (Depressing Shit)
Posted 10 years agoThe field trip today would have been better if it weren't for the people who governed the trip. I say governed because they treated us as children even though they clearly understood that I'm a legal adult and can do shit on my own.
So, that disappointed me, but I was able to share some laughter with friends. Laughing until you feel sick is always great. Hearing a friend snort only makes you laugh harder, and it makes you feel good to be able to share this laughter.
But in the end my day was stressful, and itms only getting worse.
I fucking hate where I am in my life. I go to school for 50 hours a week with very few days off, and it's led me to not only become less active and less motivated, but it's made life at home more disappointing and stressful. I hate my family. My mother's perfectly fine, but the drama that happens between my family members makes the entire house stressful as a whole. My Granny orchestrates the biggest drama outbursts possible and it tears us apart as a family. So after a stressful day at school, I come home to even more stress. I can never rest and feel at home. My home life is just really poor. I want to leave it all. I want to go out on my own, get a job, put down a loan on a house and just fucking leave. I can't live like this anymore, but I have to stick it out regardless. I have no choice but to finish my education. As much as I'd like to just pack up and leave for another state wntirely, I can't do it. Plus no one would be willing to keep me at home until I got a house anyway. I'm a shitty houseguest as it is.
Just give me some medicine and I'll shut up.

Posted 10 years agoOf course, only in Florida would there be a code red lockdown on schhool campus right when we're ready to go on a field trip. Plus nobody in the cafeteria stays quiet so if anybody decides to go weilding a gun on campus, we'll be the first to die.
Plus these two kids started beefing it out in the midst of a dangerous time.

Posted 10 years agoEveryone I know seems really uptight lately. Either something's happening to them in real life that's got them stressed out or they're just really upset for whatever reason. Even I've lost my cool a few times lately.

My Father is a Madman (Political Talk; Slightly Offensive)
Posted 10 years agoSo, I started talking with my father as he was driving me to school, and he got into another political discussion with me, and now I realize my Dad is the Georgio Tsukalos of politics. He says that - in order to put a cap on gun sales - Republicans will hire people to commit mass shootings in order to fuel their own campaign. He states that there will be more massacres like the one that happened in California all around the U.S so that Donald Trump and other Republicans can get their point across.
So if anybody asks me why I'm not political or talk about politics, this is why.

Sickness is Everywhere
Posted 10 years agoI realize that everywhere I go, everyone around me is mentally sick. That's why when I meet someone who's considered normal, I'm so confused that they're so different. They're no better or worse than those around me who are afflicted. I go to school, find that everyone there is mentally and behaviorally challenged, and come home to a house run by a mentally sick old woman who can change the vibe of the house on the flick of a switch.
So, perhaps I'm at a low point in my life, or maybe this is the normal life that I've always glorified to be so much better than where I am. I'm mentally sick, so I can't say I'm any more than these people, but I am better than those in my shhool and in my home on one single point:
I'm quiet.
I don't speak on my behalf or other's behalf, always minding my own business and keeping to myself without causing drama.
That's what makes me normal, makes me happy, makes me love life.
So, perhaps I'm at a low point in my life, or maybe this is the normal life that I've always glorified to be so much better than where I am. I'm mentally sick, so I can't say I'm any more than these people, but I am better than those in my shhool and in my home on one single point:
