Posted 3 years agoYou probably noticed that I've been posting a metric shitton of scraps the last few days.
Yeah sorry about that. I realized that I spent so much time posting these doodles to Discord and whatnot that I sorta neglected my FA.
I'll try to handpick the ones worth showing and toss them up here, but I've got a backlog of well over a year of these so I hope you don't mind seeing all the pencil doodles

Commissions Are Closed Until Further Notice
Posted 3 years agoHeyo,
since a lot of folks have been asking and I feel bad constantly having to say 'no' without making a proper announcement
I'm gonna be closing my commissions for a while while I deal with a few IRL issues. Nothing major, mostly just finding the time and the spoons to draw with my current work schedule and overall state of the universe.
I'll put out an announcement when I'm ready to step back up to the plate. In the meantime, though, sorry to everyone who's asked and had to be turned down.

Scraps
Posted 4 years agoSooo...
I just realized that I've had tons of these little doodles that I post around Discord and stuff, but have never really considered 'good' enough to post here.
And that's kind of dumb, thinking about it. All these scribbles that I'm too cowardly to post to this specific gallery, just because "Oh but it's not done" or "I might color it later" or "yeah but it looks like crap". Especially since those doodles tend to be more fun and candid than the stuff I try to make look good.
So I'm gonna try and stop being a complete wuss and start posting that stuff here more often.
Excuse a little bit of me dumping a bunch of sketches and 'lunch break doodles' in my scraps. I've got a bit of a backlog of my favorites to toss up here. Hope y'all will like some of them, too :3

Okay. So, uh...
Posted 7 years ago...Like, it turns out I'm really bad at keeping my FA journal updated. My last one was two years ago, and THAT one was pointing out that I hadn't updated my journal in ANOTHER year. I've got a bit of a bad habit of, whenever I'm about to start writing blog posts and whatnot, I start overthinking everything and end up getting too self-conscious to actually say much, so I'm prone to long periods of dead air on here
I guess I still don't have much to say but hello. I'm not dead yet, and I hope all of you are doing okay.
...Since it's probably going to be a good while before I think of anything that IS worth saying on here, I'll take this as an opportunity to plug the social media I tend to be more active on.
Twitter: I usually have more to say on here, plus I usually post sketches and doodles I don't consider good enough to post here on FA.
Tumblr: ...Really, this is mostly just where I reblog stuff I think is cool. I'm not very good at Tumblr. Someone explain Tumblr. I am lost and confused.
...Yup. I shall now return to my sky castle. Good luck out there, heroes!

...Uh. Hi! How's everyone doing?
...Uh. Hi! How's everyone doing?
For those of you running for the hills...
Posted 10 years agoPersonally, I'm not quite convinced this while IMVU thing is worth all the panic. It sounds like the usual doom and gloom that comes whenever a website has any major changes, much like when Tumblr was bought by Yahoo. So, I'm not planning on packing up and fleeing here JUST yet. That said, for those of you who are taking this opportunity to flee the Sharptooth to find their Great Valley, I DO have a few other backup sites I post to that are ripe for the Shameless Plugging.

THE 50-QUESTION TF MEME
(key: 0=no/never - 5=yes/always)
General interests:
I like TF art...
3 – While inflation has always been my “main” Weird Furry Thing, TF art always manages to stand out to me.
I like TF stories...
3 – I've got this weird love/hate relationship with transformation stories. Well done ones explore a lot of neat themes, but poorly done ones tend to squick me right out. The answers ahead should hopefully make more sense of this.
I am a TF artist...
0 – I'd like to take a crack at it someday, but the itch to really sit down and try has never really got me yet.
I am a TF writer...
1 – I have a couple characters who are canonical transformation victims (Isaac being the most recent one I've made any art of), and I have a number of werewolf/shapeshifter characters (Mutt, Leo, Chuck/Chuckles), but I've yet to actually write a real story about them.
I like to roleplay TF...
2 – Like any RP I do that might involve a kink, I usually prefer weaving it into a bigger narrative, or make it a small episode of a character in the middle of a more story heavy RP. Even when it's not, it's only because I'm RPing with someone I've known for a long time. I'm not so big on random kink RP without a bit of substance and soul to it.
Personal questions:
TF has always been an interest for as long as I can remember...
5 – I've had a lot of characters and stories over the years involving characters who transform in various ways. I always kind of found the idea of someone turning into a new, more capable, form a nifty idea.
One of the earliest things that I think put the idea in my head was the Sega Master System game “Wonder Boy 3: The Dragons Trap”, where the entire plot is about your character being cursed by a dragon, and turning into one yourself. As you play through the game, other bosses you kill curse you as well, turning you into other animals. I distinctly remember a dream I had in preschool where I turned into a huge, badass dragon. I guess that's what kept the idea in my head.
I share my TF interest with my real life friends...
2- Here and there, but my RL friends who know this side of me tend to know me for my inflation stuff first.
I wish TF was possible in real life...
3- I guess it'd be neat. I really don't think about it much.
If I could TF into anything in real life, I would and it would be...
2- A version of myself that had more money. :3
If TF was possible and reversible, I'd want to try it regardless of how painful it could ever be...
2- If it was reversible, MAAAYAYBE. Knowing me, I'd change back eventually.
If TF was possible into the form that I've always wanted, but I knew I could never go back, I'd take it...
0- I've never liked the idea of throwing away my entire life like that. Eventually, the novelty would wear off, and I'd just end up wishing for things to be back the way they were. I find getting a tattoo too much of a change, let alone becoming an entirely new creature.
I find TF sexually arousing...
3- Here and there. :3c
I've had TF dreams while sleeping...
5- Every so often!
I daydream about TF when there is downtime...
3 – I like to think of stories and whatnot when I'm off in my thoughts, and it makes for a good story type.
Favorite changes:
I like being the subject of a TF (or my character)...
1/5? - I don't get this question. If by “character”, we mean me playing myself or Ziggy, then no. Ziggy's not really built for that kind of stuff. If I'm RPing a character who I intend to get transformed, than sure!
I like watching someone else undergo a TF (or their character)...
5 – It's always fun to TF someone and watch their reaction. :3
I like animal TF...
3 – It's cute on occasion, but it tends to carry the idea of someone completely losing their humanity, or getting stuck in helpless state, which is kind of scary of an idea to me. It all depends on how it's handled.
I like anthro TF...
5- Human to Anthro is always my favorite. Or anthro to bigger, more primal version of their species. :3
I like gender TF...
0 – Admittedly, the idea's always squicked me a little. I blame having spent years running an RP channel where players got their characters TG'd all the time, just to put them in scenes to get sexually abused. :\
I like inanimate TF...
0 – “I have no mouth, and I must scream.” D:
I like latex/rubber TF...
0 – Meh. I like things warm and fuzzy, not cold and empty.
I like monster TF...
4 – Werewolves are pretty much a big <3 for me. Big ol' growly, howly, drooly beasts. Other monsters are kind of okay, I guess. Not really into the crazy eldritch nightmare looking stuff.
I like cartoon characters TF (MLP, pokemon, etc)...
0/3? – I guess I could fathom some neat transformations into pre-established creatures and races, like pokemon or some cute fuzzy race from some video game or cartoon. As far as turning into actual characters themselves, I don't really get it. Like, “I wanna see a guy turn into Krystal from Star Fox”. That always felt WAY too specific for my tastes.
I like size change...
5 – Along with the fact that I think it should come with the package of turning into something bigger or smaller, I've been finding myself getting more and more into growing and shrinking in general.
I like tail growth...
0 – Huge tails are cute, but I've never been too interested in actual growth
I like bodily covering change (fur, feathers, scales, etc)...
5- Make 'em fuzzeh!
I have a favorite body part TF...
0 – Never knew that was a thing. Guess I haven't been in the deep end of the TF circle that long.
I like other types of changes...
5 – I'm not sure if it counts, but I always thought the idea of someone turning inflatable along with their furry transformation was adorable... Whether they themselves get to control it or not (turning into a furry... and then abruptly blimping :3) Gives them a little extra to do with the new look, or at least adds even more action to the moment.
Favorite triggers:
I like magic-based TF (spells, curse, etc)...
5 – Ironic curses, magical spells designed to enhance someone, good ol' fashioned lycanthropy, it's all pretty fun. :3
I like science-based TF (injection, etc)...
5 – SCIENCE! Genetic experiments, or a laboratory mishap with furry results are pretty rad.
I like goo-based TF...
0 – Not my thing. Maybe falling into some goo and being spat out like the opening to Jak and Daxter, but I don't think that counts.
I like sex-based TF...
0 – To be honest, fetish art always came off as less interesting to me as soon as actual sex got involved. I'm not sure why. I've always just got the thrill out of the situation itself.
I like hypnosis TF...
0 – Nah.
I like other TF methods / don't care how it's started...
3- One idea I've seen around that I thought was really cool was transformations that involve someone “wearing” their new form in some way. Like, painting it onto yourself, or putting on the new form like a costume, and getting all the abilities that come with it.
Favorite process:
I like TF that occurs in less than 5 minutes...
5 – Abrupt changes can be cute. Especially when the person changing ends up not realizing what's happened to them right away, or when they suddenly turn into something a LOT bigger or smaller than them, and it happens in one huge burst that leaves them bewildered. When it's a shapeshifter character who's turning into his alternate form, it's also pretty cool as a way of unleashing his power in a dramatic way.
I like TF that takes much longer...
5 – Likewise, I love a good, slow change where the person changing is forced to watch himself morph uncontrollably. Usually, this is best reserved for a werewolf going through his first change, or someone whose change is more of a punishment or curse that's not going to clear up that quickly
I like when changes take place heterogeneously, or each body part successively...
3 – I like gradual, full body changes AND ones where each body part transforms at a time. The latter feels more cartoonish and cute to me.
I like forced TF...
3 – It always makes for a good reason for a transformation, and helps give the story an antagonist in the form of the person who forced it on them. Usually, though, I prefer it when the person forcing the transformation gets their comeuppance... Preferably in the form of the transformee laying some kind of smack down, or even giving them a taste of their own medicine. The bad guys don't get to win in Ziggy-world, damn it!
I like when the subject is resisting/not enjoying it...
5 – I'm a fan of putting my characters through unpleasant situations. Watching someone panic as they change adds a lot of dramatic tension, and a transformed character being forced to bitterly try and adapt, or going on some kind of adventure to change back is usually pretty interesting to me.
I like consensual TF...
5 – Consensual TF is also fun, though I prefer seeing it on people who can change back and forth. Though then, I tend to get more fun watching the character being in his changed state, rather than the morphing process itself. I guess the idea of someone willingly making a permanent change can be cool too, but I prefer there to be some kind of reason they'd be so willing to make a change like that. Like a soldier undergoing a treatment to turn into some kind of beastial super-soldier or something. A cool transformation scene, and then a lot of running around being a badass.
I like painful TF...
4 – I don't like seeing bones snapping at odd angles and gore spraying everywhere, but someone writhing in pain as they're overcome by a change and some unpleasant sounding pops and cracks add to the dramatic tension. Gives a sense that they're being overtaken by something unnatural. Likewise, a shapeshifter character who's clearly in pain when they're turning into their beastial self, but are managing to keep their composure is also pretty sweet.
I like pleasurable TF...
5 – Usually in the form of a willing shapeshifter getting a kind of “rush” from the process.
I like when the victim loses their human mind...
2 – OKAY! Here's where we finally begin to get into that whole “love/hate” thing I mentioned at the start. The idea of someone losing their human mind completely, to be frank, scares the bajeezus out of me. The idea of losing your very being is a terrifying thought.
That said, I do enjoy some mind alteration in a few ways. I'm a fan of when the victims mind gets a pinch more animal-like to adapt to their new form, but mostly maintaining their original mind. For example, a guy who gets turned into a canine occasionally catches himself growling, or wagging his tail, or feeling the urge to gnaw on a bone, but he's never stopped being Steve from accounting. I also like when a transformed character ends up struggling against a potential personality override. A werewolf who needs to find a balance between duel natures, letting his wolf side out only in ways that will get it out of his system in harmless or helpful ways. When he does let the wolf take over completely, it's in short burst and he needs to know how to reign it right back in. Going too far in either direction would end up with him losing his mind and becoming a mindless beast, so there's always a tiny bit of conflict in him. I find the struggle MUCH more interesting than someone just being completely and permanently un-personed.
I can also dig the concept of a shapeshifter who has an alter-ego that takes control only when he's transformed. Someone who finds himself being taken over by aspects of his personality he usually represses, for example. Like someone who's intelligent, but grouchy finding himself becoming fun-loving and spontaneous, but lacking in common sense when he's in his animal state. It brings out the idea of a character creating a new persona to explore new sides of himself he never knew he had. The original is still in there, and both forms are still guided by the same general beliefs and goals, but he's able to experience the world in a whole new way. This can also lead to the character having adventures where each side of him has to let the other take control for a while, since that side of him can handle a situation better.
I like permanent TF...
4 – Part 2 of my love/hate relationship. Permanent TF is something that I either end up loving, or getting upset by, depending on how it's handled. In general, I prefer TF story endings to sort of end on the tone that the victim will never fully be the same, but can pretty much move on with his life with some adaptation. Some guy turning into a huge tiger, grumbling to himself and going “Ugh. This is going to be hard to explain to the guys at work tomorrow” is hilarious to me. A hero ending up trapped in a new form, and after a bit of time to struggle with the partial loss of humanity, coming right back, beating the bad guy, and remaining a hero in the eyes of the people he cares about feels triumphant.
On the other hand, someone getting turned into a furry, getting a collar slapped on him, and now he's just someones pet is depressing. Someone completely losing their identity, completely aware that they'll never see their friends and family again is a damn tragedy. The idea of turning into a new form is cool to me. The idea of completely losing your old self is what turns me off about a lot of TF material.
...That said, permanent TF that screws over someone who DESERVES being screwed over can be pretty fun. A mad scientist responsible for untold death and destruction ending up the victim of one of his inventions and ending up a furball forever, or someone who willingly defiles something with a lot of powerful magic, and getting punished for it. Those are more extreme cases, though.
I like temporary TF...
5 – I more perfer it when the character has the power to change back and forth. Like a werewolf who switches forms regularly, or someone who can shift into an anthro/animal form. The person can have all the fun of the transformation, without any of the risks.
I like bondage during a TF...
3 – Only if the person transforming gets to dramatically burst out of his bindings as he grows. :3
I like clothes ripping during a TF...
5 – Yeeessss. Someone transforming out of control, outgrowing their clothes, or ripping them apart with their claws. Or someone turning into a smaller creature, and finding themselves shrinking into their outfit. I'm not a fan of hardcore nudity, so enough of their clothes have to survive to keep them decent, or copious use of toon-anatomy is important.
I like sex during/after a TF...
0 – See my notes on sex-based TF.
I like group TF...
2 – It's okay, I guess. Mass panic caused by it is always a way to make it more interesting
I like TF that occurs in front of people...
3 – I like it. Someone transforming in front of others and being confused or embarrassed about it, or trying to get out of the public eye before he changes completely. Or just him changing in front of someone he cares about, only to discover she likes him anyway. :3
Bonus question:
I've withheld my answers/lied about some of them...
0 – I think I've answered these as best as I can, unless I overlooked or forgot to mention something. Why's this even a question? D:

Otter's Moving In (Art Flood On The Horizon)
Posted 12 years ago So, after thinking things over, I've decided to just go ahead and knock off trying to keep my expansion artwork here separate from my normal stuff over at
teo-the-otter. The original idea, in theory, was that people who weren't interested in my expansion work didn't have to slog through it, while the people who were only really here to see rounds could get all the rounds they could want without a long winded character backstories and whatnot getting in the way. In practice, though, it was too much work for too little payoff. When you get right down to it, this is hardly the website to go around judging people for the kind of artwork they have.
To be frank, as much as I enjoy drawing silly balloon animals and other such stuff, I have just as much fun coming up with fun characters with stories people can read and enjoy, or really sitting down and racking my brain to challenge myself artistically, then showing the salvageable attempts to people. It's hardly worth the effort of keeping both separate with some kind of After Dark account, when the kind of content I post here is hardly "after dark".
So. To put things in a less roundabout way, IMPENDING ART FLOOD.

Inflation Meme
Posted 12 years ago1. Why do you like fat/inflation?
I'm a perverted freak.
Though as to HOW I found out I was into it, I blame a lot of cartoons growing up. Specifically, the classic Templeton scene from Charlotte’s Web, on top of a scene in a Roadrunner cartoon where Wile E Coyote huffs a tank of helium to make himself into a bomb carrying blimp.
The one that clinched it for me, though, was a scene from the show The Terrible Thunder Lizards, where a character drinks a canister of liquid helium, and ends up floating off with his friends. :3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFBo04M7Zic
2. Which is better? Fat or Inflation? And why?
I like both in different ways. I tend to lean more towards inflation, though, because I tend to get more material out of it.
3. Would you consider your liking sexual or not?
I would LIKE to say no, but let's be frank; if you're filling out a survey on Furaffinity about the various ways you love cartoon animals being filled with helium, you're probably getting off on it. See the “Perverted freak” comment above.
4. Fat/Inflated guys or girls?
I like both for different reasons, though I'll admit I'd be drawing a LOT more girls were I a little better at it.
5. Do you like inflation furs who are latex or rubber instead of fur?
Sorry, my squeaky brothers. I like the idea of being able to feel the fur and body heat of the inflatee. I think a little fun comes from the idea of a body doing something completely unnatural to begin with. That said, I do adore inexplicable squeaks and creaks from inflating people.
6.Would your character prefer fat or inflation?
Both! :<
7.Opinion on slob furs.
Eugh. Sorry, but not a fan. Drool, farting, body odor and various goop and fluids everywhere just grosses me out. I DO like seeing occasional belches and hiccups that come from a character being overstuffed, or too full of gas, though. Beyond that, shower's to the left, we can continue once you've spent some time there.
8. Opinion on vore.
Not to hate on all you tasty furs and predators out there, but vore... scares me a little. I love the bellies in some vore art, but the idea of some helpless SOB dying a horrible, acidy death tends to take me out of it. That's the kind of stuff my vore buddies LIKE, though, so I'll just chalk it up to different strokes,
9. Best type of fur to fatten or inflate?
All of them. Especially you. :<
10. Do you like it when the inflated fur pops or the fat fur explodes?
Meh. I'm blowing furs up to see them get huge, not to see bits of them raining everywhere.
11. Blueberry inflation?
Too spherical. I prefer my expansions to have more proportional swelling all around, and blueberries just have all their extremities sucked into their mass. Plus, there isn't really much material with blueberry inflation. It's always the gum, if any reason is given at all. Hell. That movie outright had a drink that filled people with lighter than air gas. You'd think someone would do something with THAT one in a while.
12. What is one thing you don't like about fat/inflation?
When the world is written to accept or encourage the expansion. Random background characters seeing a vixen blimping up and getting big anime nosebleeds or toony hearts floating around them. Communities where everyone is either fat because they ALL like it, or someone is outright enforcing obesity among the people. When inflation becomes normal or outright sought after, it takes me out of it because some of the fun with inflation, to me, is how unnatural it is, and the characters fear, embarrassment, struggle, or in the case of characters who do like it, dealing with all the people staring at them funny and treating them like a freak.
13. Who is the best inflation/fat artist?
Has ANYONE been able to answer this question? No one I've seen has ever been able to pick just one artist.
Though I will say that
wontoonroo was the person who helped me get over my fear of liking it, and gave me the courage to seek out the community. :3
14. If their fursona was real, who would you most likely force feed/inflate and huggle? (not your character)
luprand Oh sheeeeppy~!
15. Do you like fat/inflation of characters from tv shows or video games?
Absolutely! I don't draw too much fanart nowadays, personally, but I always love to see it.
16. Do your non fat fur or non inflation friends mind that you're into that stuff?
For the most part, me and most of my friends have pretty much accepted that we're both weirdos, so we can't judge. :3
17. Does your family know that you're into fat/inflation or that you're a furry?
Oh dear Christ I hope not...
18. Do they approve of it?
I'M GOING TO HAVE NIGHTMARES TONIGHT THINKING ABOUT IT.
19. Do you think it's fair to call it a "fat fetish" or "inflation fetish"?
I don't really like the idea of it being a fetish, but if it looks like a duck and sounds like me enjoying filling it with helium...
20. Would you like a cookie?
No thank you. I'm on a diet.

Re-open for business! (commissions)
Posted 12 years agoAlright. There was a bit longer of a pause than I was expecting, thus the journal, but I've opened up three new slots for commissions. Come one, come all, or just come whoever feels like it I guess.
Prices and other such information can be found here. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4472877/

Cabbit Commissions
Posted 12 years agoAfter a bit of deliberation, some discussion with my peers, and enough self doubt to drive lesser men to plummet, screaming, into the deepest pits of despair, I've decided to finally take a plunge and open myself up for commissions. This is only my first careful step, and I'll admit I'm pretty new to the process. As such, things said here may change in the future.
-Basics-
If you'd like me to draw you something, note me on FA with what you want, a reference of any characters appearing on it, and the type of picture you want. While you can use any sorts of means to get a hold of me, I'd still prefer a note sent, just so I have something concrete to look back to.
For inked and colored pictures, when I complete the initial sketch, I'll note what I have back to you for approval. If there's anything you'd like changed before I start the final process, now's the time to say something! Once I start inking it, changes will be kind of difficult and I'd rather not have to lose too much progress.
Once we've discussed what you want, and the overall cost of it, please send payment via paypal to ZiggyCabbit[at]yahoo.com . Once the money's received, I'll get onto your drawing ASAP.
THINGS I LIKE TO DO:
Inflation, weight gain, pretty much anything spherical.
THINGS I WON'T DO:
Vore, babyfurs, anything that could be considered pornographic or otherwise go beyond my usual PG-13 ratings.
-Prices-
Pencil sketch- $10
Inked drawing- $15
Flat Colors- $17.50
Colored and shaded- $20
There will be an extra 50% charge onto the base price for each additional character (25% if it's one of my characters), and and extra 25% per Complicated Thing you want added (backgrounds, detailed accessories or wings, armor or uniforms, pretty much anything I'm going to have to have a reference displayed before me as I draw, erase, slam my head on the table, and draw again)
If you'd like a refund during the process, feel free to note me and I'll return the money.
This is my first time doing this, and I'm not sure how well this is all going to end up. During this turbulent first round, please try and be patient for the newbie.
Since I'm not sure if my limits while also balancing my job, I'll open three slots for now. Again. If you'd like something, note me!

*Gaaaaaaaasp* (Post Anthrocon Update)
Posted 13 years agoOHSWEETSWINGDANCINGJESUSONATRIPLEPATTYCHEESEBURGERANDASIDEOFFRIESANTHROCONWASSOMUCHFUUUUUUUN!!!
Seriously. AC was freaking amazing. I haven't had this much fun in WAY too long. Me and Remy had a blast running all over the place, seeing 2 and Kage on stage, getting Dev Madan's autograph (Sly Cooper, among various other awesome things), and generally derping around.
Also got to FINALLY achieve one of my Anthrocon goals and meet a bunch of new people.
nemo, I said it about fifty seven times, but it was SO great meeting you and hanging out. You have officially reached Bro status. Also got to meet
unit_52,
odendo,
pyrokai,
nargleflex, and all you others who I apologize if I forgot to mention here. Had fun chilling with you all, and I hope to see you all around.
Best AC in years. Wish it could have lasted longer than it did, but nothing lasts forever. Time to get ready for work tomorrow and go back to mundane life.

Anthrocon Memememememe
Posted 13 years agoYup. It's that time again.
Where are you staying?
At my house. Not quite as convenient as being right at the hotel, buuuut I'm a cheap bastard.
What day are you getting there?
I'm already here! Being a local is nice sometimes.
Who will you be with?
My roommate Remy, and my pal Sully. Neither have FA's to my knowledge, so I can't really whore them out here.
Do you do free art?
I tend to lock up when people start making requests, but when I'm chatting with people, I do tend to doodle in my sketchbook.
Do you do trades?
I'd be more than happy to!
Do you do commissions?
I don't really have a table or anything, but I'd be willing.
What are your limits to drawing?
I like to keep my arts generally clean. No sex, scat, general ickiness.
What is your gender?
I AM A MAN! *punch*
How old are you?
24
Can I talk to you?
Totally! I'll admit that I'm... very shy when I first meet people, so expect a lot of stuttering and "Uuuhhhh...."'s out of me. I'm trying to become more social, though, so I'll still appreciate the chat.
Can I touch you?
Err... I'd kind of prefer my personal space, if that's cool.
Can I hang out with you?
Sure! Again, I'm kind of a quiet guy, but I'm always up for hanging out with my fellow heretics!
How can I find you?
I'm usually running all over the con, going to panels and stuff. When I'm not doing that, you can usually find me parked at the Zoo, doodling at a table. Look for the very large man with the ponytail, carrying a backpack like a dork.
Can I give you lots of money?
I like this meme!
How tall are you?
6'4. Don't let the tiny cabbit fool you. I'm a pretty big guy.
Are you nice?
I try to be, though I'm pretty bad at talking.
Can I stalk you?
...Why would you want to?
How long are you going?
Friday-Sunday. Maybe some of Thursday, but I work in the evening that night.
Do you have an artist table?
Nope
Do you like parties?
I'm a complete wallflower, admittedly. D:
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Just walk up and say hi. I don't bite. If I'm wandering around in the halls, it's usually to head somewhere in particular, so the talk might be brief, but feel free to catch me at the Zoo!
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Around the Zoo, probably.
What/where will you be eating?
EVERYTHING!
Do you have prints/ CDs ?
Nope.jpg
Do you do badges?
I could. Maybe.
Can I look in your sketchbook?
Sure! My shriveled ego could use it!
Can I draw in your sketchbook?
By all means! I will treasure until the end of my days, where I'll be a shriveled husk in a cave, curled around the yellowed pages.
Can I take your picture?
I'm ugly! UGLYYYYYYYY!
But if you felt like it, sure.
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
Meet new people. Become more social. Get involved with the fandom beyond sitting off in the back, shivering in terror and occasionally doodling up pictures of cartoon animals.

And the cabbit came Tumblr-ing after.
Posted 13 years agoThe journey was long. My legs were weary. The cold sent shivers down my spine as I trudged through the snow. The sacrifices I made were great, and the only thing that kept me going was the increasingly unsteady faith that my answers were right around the corner.
It was there that I found him.
At first, I thought it was an illusion, my lonely and desperate mind snapping under the pressure. I looked again, if only to prove it to myself. But I wasn't hallucinating. I wasn't hallucinating.
He sat atop the mountains peak, illuminated by the mornings golden sunrise behind him. He resembled a mortal man, much like you or I, but as I watched him, I could sense an otherworldly power about him.
In a mixture of fatigue and astonishment, I dropped to my knees before him. There was so much I wanted to say. So much I wanted to ask. But as I opened my mouth, I found I couldn't find the words.
The smile he gave me, however, made it clear he already knew what it was I sought. He walked down from that peak, his steps slowed with age, but sure with centuries of experience. He came to a stop in front of me, and beckoned me to rise to my feet. I followed his instructions, finally feeling safe for the first time since I began this journey. It was then that he held out his hands. And in his hands, a gift.
It was then, I understood.

That horrifying moment...
Posted 13 years ago...When you look over your profile info, and realize how out of date it is.
Apparently, I've been looking forward to the release of the Wii nearly all the way to the release of the Wii U.

Life (or the next best thing)
Posted 14 years agoSo it's been a crazy couple of months. What began as a trip out to Pennsylvania to visit some friends while my house back home was under repairs became me permanently moving out here when a fell into my lap, which was a pretty lucky break considering the last two years were spent with me in a post-college limbo. So here I am, sleeping on a couch as I slowly get my things from my parents place to here. But finally being able to honestly live on my own has been nice. I should have done this whole "getting a job" thing sooner.
So, yeah. Nothing mind blowing. Just me trying to be a little less reclusive on this site with an update about my boring-ass life.
On an unrelated topic, Skyrim is amazing, and if you aren't already playing it, GO PLAY IT! NOW! RIGHT NOW! DO IT!

Just throwing this out there (Post Anthrocon update)
Posted 14 years agoTwo out of the three years I've gone to Anthrocon, I brought one of my non-fur friends with me, who wanted to see what the big deal was about furries. Each of those two times, the person I brought had so much fun at the con, they walked away saying they wanted to be a furry, too.
Just throwing that out there.
All in all, AC was fun. It was good meeting those of you I ran into, and all the various antics me and my group have had was worth the agonizing pain I have in my feet from running all over the city now (In hindsight, staying with a friend who lived two miles away from the con wasn't my best idea). And best of all, there's a new ferret in the fandom when there was once just a guy curious about AC.
And now, back to my usual routine of trying to make myself post here.

Anthrocon~!
Posted 14 years agoYup. Once again, I'm joining the hundreds of furries and other nerds of Pittsburgh on their pilgrimage to the land of fursuits, neckbeards, and other geekiness at anthrocon. Along with the last two years, I'll be going with my partner in crime
scathelocke, along with a nonfur who decided to come along to see what the big deal is about. If you see me around (I won't be hard to find. I'll be the circular shaped guy with the ponytail who frequents the Zoo), feel free to come up and say hi. See y'all at the con.

Posted 14 years agoTrying to get in the habit of posting more journals.
Well, just turned 23 on friday. After having to put up with a week of doctors appointments and other stuff, it was nice to actually do something I enjoy.
Best of all, I got a new scanner out of the deal... Which means it's getting increasingly hard to justify the lack of posting I've been doing. D:

Just wondering...
Posted 15 years agoIf I were to attempt a live stream, or a Let's Play of a game, would anyone be interested in watching? I'm not fully sure what I would be playing (though I have a few ideas. A playthrough of the Sonic 2 XL hack might be fun, but I have a number of other ideas), but I'm only really limited to anything I can emulate. If you would be interested, or happen to have any suggestions, feel free to let me know.
