Forgotten Sketches
General | Posted 14 years agoSo I've forgotten that I have a bunch of sketches in my journals. I'm scanning them now. Some date back to 2009. I figure that I can color the best ones digitally and then start working on stuff from scratch digitally. I think both mediums have their pros and cons, but the ability to "undo" while experimenting on the computer is really invaluable for me. I'm always terrified of fucking things up with traditional art.

2. Who eats more?
He does, generally. Normally I won't allow myself to eat more than him, but there are occasions. (It oddly embarrasses me otherwise)

He did. I had wanted to say it for some time before he did, but considering our past, I had been afraid of putting myself out there too much just to be burnt.
4. Who is taller?
He is! I'm 5'2" and he's 6'.
5. Who drives most when you are out together?
It's pretty balanced, maybe leaning towards me driving more?

Lolz, I kind of feel like he is. We're both emotional but in different ways.

We both do! In fact, we do it together!

Depends on which bed we're sleeping in. 99% of the time he's on the side that's against the wall. When we're at his parents' house though I tend to sleep on the right side.

We don't live together so we each pay our own bills.

Wow, I guess I'm bad at these things. I'm not sure. It varies based on the scenario. We both admit when we're wrong. I never pay attention to who does first. Probably him?

Various things! We're both very eclectic when it comes to music.

General | Posted 15 years agoSome old art of mine! I have one more final to do tomorrow and then work on thursday, but I was thinking that I could finish some of the old art I found and some of the newer stuff I haven't gotten around to uploading. Should be fun if I get my ass in gear to do it!

General | Posted 15 years agoSo it's pretty much been forever ago since I uploaded art. I currently have like 10 unfinished and 2 finished pieces, at least, waiting to be scanned. Christmas is coming up and my last final is the 22nd. While I'm home I guess I'll scan my stuff. I could go to a computer lab and use the scanner there, but that'd be way too embarrassing for me, admittedly. So! I guess I'll flood my account with art later this month. Hahaha

As much as I hate pretentious rich people, my desire to make a lot of money is overwhelming. I'm so tired of being poor and having to stress about money. I intend on being in a field where I will have a really nice cash flow into my bank account. Hopefully being a landscape architect will fulfill that dream! What will separate me from those people I have a tendency to dislike? I don't want to flaunt my wealth. I want to live in a medium-sized, fairly eco-friendly house with lots of pets and a lot a land so I can garden extensively and build the coolest landscapes ever. I want to have enough money to buy my parents the house they always wanted and buy my mom a horse and my dad a wicked awesome garage so he can work on whatever cars he wants even in the winter. I want to give back to the people who mean a lot to me and not blow my money on silly frivolous things just to prove a point.

1. Poor hygiene/dirty habits. Seriously. I'm not the cleanest person in the world, but I do have a high standard for cleanliness. Clean your ears, keep your nails trimmed, don't have dirt under your nails (UGH SO GROSS), do your laundry, bath regularly (preferably once a day), don't leave food sitting around in your room for long periods of time, ect. Dirty people really gross me out. How can you live like that?
2. Arrogance. Close second with poor hygiene. I don't care who you are, chances are you're really not that amazing or spectacular. If you were, you'd know that you don't need to tell people all the time or shove it down their throat. They'll see how amazing you are for themselves.
3. Close-mindedness. Everyone should realize that they're not perfect and that their mentality isn't the only one. Be adventurous, try new things. If you only watch comedy, only eat spaghetti, and only listen to republicans, then you're going to be a very boring and not well-rounded individual. I probably won't waste my time with you. Besides, that'll limit the things we can talk about.

6. Be awesome sexually
7. Be open-minded! This one should probably be second on my list. Open-minded covers a lot of topics, from drugs (important!) to trying new foods/experiences (sexually and otherwise) to all my weird interests. You don't have to love something as much as I do, but show me that you're willing to try it. I'd do the same for you.
8. Be understanding and patient. Sometimes I go a little crazy...patience and the ability to understand where I'm coming from go a long way.

1. I'm pretty into astrology. You could almost say it's my religion.
2. I have a natural attraction to people who are into drugs. Drugs and the experiences people have with them fascinate me, however, I do not like junkies.
3. I absolutely love pokemon (amongst other childish/dorky things), but I have a strong tendency to keep that part of me secret from other people.
4. I dye my hair regularly with henna, though lately I've been wondering what I would look like with brown hair. It's been about 5 years since I've had anything but red hair.
5. While I strongly enjoy my alone-time, I find it hard to be happy if I go too long without actually hanging out with people.
6. I'm currently in college for Landscape Architecture, but I'm not quite sure exactly what I want to do with it. There are plenty of options for me and luckily I still have time to decide. Unrealistically, I would love to go buy a house in a semi-rural place and live off the land while being a dog sledder for fun.
7. I often lack motivation and don't really stick to my goals too often, so it really shows when I actually do.
8. My room currently smells like rat pee and it's seriously grossing my out. I wish Genghis would stop pissing ALL THE TIME on the plastic shelf thing. I drilled holes in it so the pee would drain out but he pees on it so much it generally just puddles.
9. I've been considering starting a comic for a long time. I recently read AndersLovesMaria and it really inspired me. Now let's see if I actually do anything with this inspiration.

I miss drawing
General | Posted 15 years agoI do. I should try to start it up again. My semester is over on May 12th, which is less than a month away. I move into my new apartment on June 1st or so. I need to try to get a job. I still need to hand in my application to a local [plant] nursery. I guess I'll be living down here since it would kind of be a shame to pay rent for 3 months and not even live in the place. What sucks is how far I'll be from my boyfriend. :[
The next year is gonna be difficult, but then he's hopefully gonna graduate if he can get into the classes he needs. If it all works out them maybe I'll be able to see him more often.

General | Posted 16 years agoSo I'm pretty much settled in my new place. My roommates are certainly nice and quite interesting. It's actually kind of funny that I'm the only white girl, but it's all good. I ain't no racist and I love getting to know different types of people.
The snowstorm was crazy, yet beautiful. We got over 15" I believe they're saying. The only thing that blows about snow is how inconvenient it makes leaving the building.
Now I'm chilling with my boyfriend in Long Island. I wanna try to get some art done this weekend, since idk how comfortable I feel drawing strange animal people in front of my new roomies.
