last week was pretty productive for me, i managed to do a lot of things that you guys haven't seen yet. i'll post a new black and white comic soon, it's not that awesome but it's a comic! xD i'm sure it will look better after the commissioner gets his hands on it and he paints it... he's an artist too, and he's super talented!

also this week, i'll be opening the same YCH auction again, because one of the slots had problems, and the other bidder for it couldn't get it because he got a comm from me instead so he doesn't have money anymore soooooo maybe you guys will be into that? xD

oh oh, and tomorrow i'll finally post the raffle! even though i'm not sure of the theme yet... can you guys give me a fun idea for it??

and i noticed how close i am to the 900 watchers! so i'll try to do something nice when i reach that number, too!

it's really silly, really. i had the fursona on my mind, but it didn't have a name, so i tried to think of a cool sounding name, and Josh sounded cool for me, being a non-native english speaker hahaha


• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?

Josh is a tiger! and i didn't chose him, it came to me in a dream, where i became him! i never made him conciously, it just appeared and i drawed :P


• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eye/ect.

well, josh is orange! with white fur on his face and pecs/belly, with some smaller patches running to his legs. oh, and a white round butt :3 he has a brown nose and brown stripes all over his body! he has green eyes, too!


• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?

even though i haven't shown him too much as he realy is, josh is a lovable giant. he's really shy, but once he gets to know you he can get closer to you (like, really close! part of his latino heritage, that can make some american unconfortable :P) although with his new body he got more confident, maybe a little bit cocky, but always with his feet on the ground. he's also very smart!. comparing to RL me, josh is more confidant, but just as silly and a laid back guy as i am. and the smarts, of course :P hhahaha

• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?

the green hat! which i have IRL :P in the comic i'll give him glasses too, but that will be part of a story so... wait for that! :P

well, today my arm was pretty sore because i slept on it last night so i let it rest for the day (tried to draw but it was soooo unconfortable) so i tried to finally beat xenoblade chronicles X... and i did!!
but the ending was so... ugh... i can't even call it an ending. it basically confirms the sequel or DLC, but after the first xenoblade chronicle's ending (which is my fav game ever) i feel so... underwhelmed! it does has potential though... my problem is that the ending creates more questions than it answers them. it better BE a sequel or i'll be so dissapointed... well... more than i am now.

It has been one year since i actively joined the fandom, and i've met lots of wonderful people, frieds like i've never had before...
but also, i met the "bad" part of the fandom. you all know what i'm talking about, of course... but lately it has worsen to a level i didn't even think it was possible!
some people close to me already knew, since i ranted about it a lot to you (specially around christmas week, which was problem after problem)
sooooooo... i'll make a list of the things i really hate that people do sometimes! so hopefully none of you do it :P

1- i hate when people ask for free stuff: Any of my close friends (that being the ones that talk to me every week or at least have tried to get to know the artist behind the tiger) would tell you i've made a pic for them, that being a silly sketch, or a drawing at some point for them. i love my friends, and sometimes i like to draw them out of the blue, but they've never asked for them. For me, a real friend is the one that doesn't ask for a pic... a real friend is the one that asks you how are you and listen to your troubles. and besides, anyone who cares enough about me know i'm out of a job and the commissions are what keep me alive, pretty much... so asking me to give out for free the only thing that's making me go to college right now it's unsensitive, even.

2- People that do stuff expecting to get something in return: you did something for me? awesome! i'll probably love it, not matter what it is! i'm usually very grateful of those people, and i'll do something in return! BUT if you even dre to say "and... where's my gift?" or something like that, you're dead to me, since you're basically forcing me to do a trade with you. that's really rude. if you're going to make a gift it has to come from the heart, without expecting something in return.

3- "can i be on your comic?": of all, i think this is the one that makes me the most angry. anyone that has asked about my comic's story knows how much planed and advanced i have my stories (both of them, one of them releasing very soon *wink wink*), with every plot twist, character and settings really planned out, which is no easy task. what i hear when someone asks something like that what i hear is "hey, i don't care about all the work you put into your stories, can i be on it? for free, of course". i can deal with people wanting to be in the background, sometimes, but then you find out they have an overly complicated character and it ends up being a nightmare.

4- rude people: i'm usually a pretty relaxed guy, who rarely curses or anything like that (my mom used to tell me that people who cursed where ignorant, because they used those words because they didn't know the right ones, and that stuck with me xD) and i try to treat everybody i met in the most respectful way i can, and that's why i can't handle rude people. i treat others with respect and i espect to be treated in the same manner in return. in the other hand... if i've offended someone i will be all like "yeah, you're right, i deserve it" xD.

5- unwanted/rude criticism: i'm all for constructive criticism, i love it, i welcome it with open arms, but "practice your drawings" or "this is ugly" doesn't help at all. the only thing it will cause is to me to grow insecure about my drawings! "practice your feets, the toes are too small", in the other hand, it's an awesome advice! if you're going to say something, make sure it will be useful to the person who receives the comment, if not, you could do more damage than help him! even though i get mad at those sometimes, i try not to, since usually they're made with good intentions :) (except the "this is ugly" one, that's just plain rude).

aaand i think i can't think of anything else right now xD sorry to the ones that actually read this, i know it was long, but i needed to take this out of my chest. i also would love to hear what you think about this! of course, these are my views on the topics, and if your view is different i would love to hear your opinion on it!

...how much they affect other's lives. i don't mean in a bad way, by the way, but a good way.
some artist have the talent to show more than just a picture... hasn't it happened to you? you're browsing through the pictures of the artists in this page, and then, you stumble upon one pic, that looks amazing, and inspires something inside you! you aren't sure what is it, you have probably seen more skilled artist out there, but that particular picture has something that makes it stand out.

the artists that are capable of that, bringing up emotions through their pics, are the ones i look up to.
what i wrote before happened to me, and i love that pic so much that i became a tiger because of that, and it inspired me to start drawing, to show others how that picture made me feel inside.

i an only hope to be able to do the same for someone else someday :D
