I finally got my new modem today and I can be fully online again!

Last night a strong thunder storm rolled, and lightning struck just outside my house. While I'm fine and most things are intact, a few things did get fried by the storm, one of them being my internet modem. I did call my ISP this morning and they're shipping me a new modem and upgraded to a new plan that's faster and cheap than my current plan, but I won't get it until around 3 to 5 days. So, I'm stuck using my phone mostly until I get the new modem and set it up. Which may make me a little spotty around here and other places online until then. Just thought I'd let you all know, in case any of you got curious or got worried.

Just as it says. I'm back from my eval for voc rehab. Wasn't exactly the best time, but it was exactly terrible either. Have a lot to think over now.

Starting tomorrow afternoon I'll be leaving town to try out Vocational Rehab for around a week, hoping to see if they'll be able to teach me how to drive and may be get some job skills if I find something I like there. I'll be pretty much gone from Monday afternoon to Friday. I say pretty much and kinda because I'll be taking my phone with me to keep in touch as best I can, but I won't really be able to do much until I get back. Plus I can leave earlier if I need too. Hopefully all things go well. Anyway, I thought I'd give you all a heads up.

Just remember to post my annual birthday reminder. So, once again my birthday is coming up Feb. 25th.

Like the title says, this the annual reminder journal for my birthday coming up on the 25th. A little later than usual, but here it is.

Well, the worst has happen, as of earlier today, I had to put my beloved rottweiler, Zoey, down. Due to the severe pain she was in, so much so she couldn't even sit up, and bleeding problems. I felt it was right to do so. It still hurts though...

Yeah, it's about time I updated this thing, it's been almost a year since the last one. A lot of things have changed in my life, like I've started going to therapy since I've been diagnosed with anxiety and depression around late summer or early fall of this year. And much more recently finding out that my sweet rottweiler Zoey has cancer, a cancer of the blood vessels to be specific. It was first found in a joint in her leg, and now quickly spread all the way to her eye, and now at the time of typing this, she seems to have lost the ability to even sit up. There's nothing I can really do now but keep her comfortable, since no amount of surgery will help and I can't afford chemo for her. The timing of all this is the just the worse since we're coming up on the anniversary of my father's death. And of course Christmas is right around the corner... So, Happy fucking holidays to me I guess.. Hope your all's holidays are better.

Hey guys, it's time for your annual reminder that my birthday is coming up this month on the 25th. It's going to be odd now that both my parents are gone.

I'm just thinking about this now, in between things, but I'm wondering what you guys think the color of her outfit should be. My mother is gone. I received a phone call from my aunt earlier this morning, informing me that mother has passed away last night. We had taken her off the ventilator yesterday, since it was clear she was ready to go. She hanged on some time after my siblings and I left the hospital for our final visit with her, she was stubborn up until the end. These past few months have been hell for all of us...

Over the past couple of months my life has become a real rollercoaster when it comes to my mother's health. There have times where she seems to start getting better, only for her to get worse later on, the latest instances being earlier this week where she seemed to be getting much better, only for me to learn today that she has stage four lung cancer. It makes sense, seeing as how she's been smoking for most of her life and only really quit after my dad died. This whole series of events have been really, really draining and confusing...

This/this past month (depending on when you're reading this) has been rough on me with my mom being in and out of the hospital (she never actually came home, she went to physical rehab after her initial hospital visit only to go back into the hospital) and the horrid weather we had for a couple of weeks, causing me to lose power for a day, and forcing me to stay with my aunt for that day so I didn't freeze. And now a hole ton of stuff is piling up and it's stressing me out. At least I had some good friends to help make my birthday pretty good, but still it's been a hard month for me.

I'm giving you all my annual notice that my birthday is coming up on the 25th this month. Here's to hoping it'll be better than last year's.

Good news bad news: Good news is that she is alive and in one piece. Bad news is that she got arrested for DUI. So, yeah it been quite the evening.

I know it's odd that I keep doing these, but I need the help. I need your prayers and good vibes to make sure my mom is okay, she left the house to go babysit for my sister, well her kids anyway, but my sister called me a bit ago saying that she hasn't arrived yet. Well, our mom left the house I think some time past 4:30pm and it can take an hour or so to get where my sister lives. It's getting darker earlier out there and she's getting on in years, plus their was some winter weather around here lately so may be she's just going slow and taking her time. But we're still worried, so may be you all can pray for her safety and send good vibes to help make sure she's safe and may be get to my sister's in one piece. Thank you all.

My grandmother in the hospital right now. According to my mom and aunt, she's not looking too good. I'm gonna go see her tomorrow. I'm hoping that you all would pray for her and/or send her good vibes or something. It's kinda scaring me right now.
