Coloring line-art! Need money for rent!
Posted 9 years agoI lost my job recently, and don't have enough money to pay this month's rent or an unexpected hospital bill. I'm offering to color line-art for a reasonable price. If you don't have any line-art that needs colored or can't afford to give anything, even spreading the news would help me tremendously.
Here are some samples of things I've colored.

I understand I'm not very active here, life has kept me busy up until recently, and I hate to sound like I'm begging, but anything at all would help. Thank you.

Posted 16 years agoYay commissions!
Posted 18 years agoWellp, one of my many commissioned pieces was finished recently. Thanks to
barrin84 for all their hard work in bringing my fursona to life! Only problem is apparantley their bank is a royal douche when it comes to Paypal so I'll have to mail them some cash in a discreet fashion. (lead box has crossed my mind, but then so did the realization of how much shipping rape would be in order) But rest-assured, they will get paid, plus a tip for both their speed and attentiveness. If you need a commissioned piece, I would highly recommend this person.

In a bit of a conundrum....
Posted 18 years agoWell, things are crappy as of late. I've taken a break from painting da Boyz in order to practice my art, but then I ran across a new problem... I don't know how to practice. I know, I know, "Draw over and over and over again", gotcha. Here's the thing: I have no clue WHAT to draw. I could sit here and draw little circles and cones and rhombus' all day and learn nothing really. My problem is I lack inspiration and focus, and that SUCKS. Doesn't really help me out in anything really. I don't even really know why I can't draw either. Apparantley I have an artistic eye of sorts, at least regarding some things, like painting da Boyz. I just don't get it...
Well, at any rate, I've decided to for-go job searching and will begin the process of trying to get my sorry ass back into school. Before I do THAT though, I'm going to try to get tested for autism in the hopes that there's some program or what-ever to help me through it. At least, I HOPE it's autism I have. I don't even know what I might have anymore, or if I have anything at all. We've tried ADD, ADHD, depression (side-effects include thoughts of suicide. YA RLY!), NLD (non-verbal learning disorder), and so far there's no definitive answer. I'll have to find someone that will TEST me first, seeing as the place that tested me for ADD was a house of quacks who only wanted to push the then-new Zoloft on people. "Oh, you might have ADD brought on by depression, or you might have depression brought on by ADD". Thanks alot, Dr. Scratch-n-Sniff. Oh well, turns out this place doesn't test for autism anyways, nor do they know the number of anyone else who does (they made "Mental Health RESOURCES an oxy-moron, too. They're over-achievers, they are!).
I'm also growing quite sick of storms. Here on the plains, it's supposed to rain very little, yet lately it's just been day after day after day of thunder-storms. It always seems to happen whenever I tell myself "Gee, what a swell day! I think I'll go out to town and see what's happenin'!". Then the storm comes. Yippee. No out-side activities for me! -__-

Paint 'n Formula
Posted 18 years agoTwo things have taken over my life in recent days. The first is Warhammer: 40K. I recently bought an Ork Codex and Battleforce, and have been busy painting the little bastards since I got them home. I've got one almost finished. 1 down, 15 more to go, plus all the Orks on the Bikes, Buggy, and Trukk. Definitely not looking forward to painting those, as the Slugga Boy I'm nearly done painting was hard enough. The Boyz on the bikes and driving the Buggy/Trukk are even smaller. ._. Fun times ahead.
The other thing (or rather, things) that has taken over my free-time go by the names of Lucy and Fisk, two kittens a hay-dealer found in his field and were named as such because I phail at originality. Although they appear to fit their name-sakes farily well: Lucy is sweet and mild-mannered, while Fisk can be a real turd at times. They're only about 4-5 weeks old, but they can already eat dried kitten chow and use a litter-box, which is very conventient since I have no experience house-training ANYTHING. They're still too little to be running around by themselves though. Because of this, they reside in a large critter-cage when I don't let them run amok in my room of horrors, which they enjoy ironically enough. =
As such, don't expect a whole lot of art submissions from me, as I've not been practicing as I should've been, nor can I seem to find the time between baby-sitting the brats and painting da Boyz. I still need to start looking for another job too, as well as a girl-friend. Being unemployed and single means putting up with the tag-team of Boredom day-in, day-out.
