Hey everyone, there's been plenty of things going on in my and Kuki's lives recently so we're sorry for keeping you in the dark, it's because we've been busy dealing with real life shenanigans more than usually so that left us with very little energy for online posting, hopefully you can see some more activity from us in the coming days.
TL;DR due to our failing health we need a couple extra days to wrap up the November animation, we're also taking a break in December because the situation with Pixiv Fanbox is looking confusing at this moment and we prefer to wait it out and save us some stress, thanks for your continued support and see you soon with more updates!

I'll try to keep it somewhat brief because I'm trying to cover for a couple things all going on recently.

First of all our health. We've spent the past month running from doctor to doctor and we're far away from being done, so we're just calling it a break in December because there's been too much stress and we need some space to recharge in order to not strain us even further. Kuki was dealing with diagnosing her migraine among other things and getting prescription drugs for it and I been dealing with my strained back that had began giving me more trouble recently. I am currently going through a process of signing up with a physiotherapy program on some experimental new techniques and I will be meeting with some physicians in December because I need some set of guidance advice that will help me specifically other than the yoga that I been already doing on my own.

Due to all this we're estimating that it will take us at least a couple more days to get the November animation art pack out to supporters, which brings us to another question of what we're doing with Fanbox moving forward. You may know already, there's been some updates to Pixiv Fanbox policies which leave us wondering whether or not they will affect us or not. It’s all still very muddy and confusing at the moment, so we decided that it's best to wait and see what happens after the 15th of December when the new set of rules is supposed to start being enforced. It is also why we will get the November art pack sent out your way before the new policies update for sure. For now Kuki will be disconnecting her PayPal from our Fanbox and we’ll see how it goes and whether we return to it in January, because by that time there will be plenty other artists to compare the situation with. Oh boi this has been a long time coming.

So here's the deal guys. Right now I will be going on a three-week long vacation, the first time I am taking such a long break since forever. I kinda feel like I've earned it. Also, the stars have aligned and during that time I will be hosting InfinityBeing who's flying out across half the globe just to hang out with me and  Kukseleg and we've been planning to meet for years now, so that's pretty neat too. I will be going all around central Europe and generally be away from my work, so this is the reason why the current commission list has stopped at June and I refused to accept any more. I just knew that I was going to be away ^^;

Now, all of this leisure time and my birthday which also comes up in roughly three weeks, has got me thinking. This is a nice time to take a look back and reflect on the past and the future.

Cuz I must honestly admit, I've been feeling pretty... mentally, or "artistically" exhausted for the longest time now, this feeling has been lurking around the corner and slowly creeping up on me. I feel like this has taken a toll on my creative output, causing me some dissatisfaction with my own work, because I am feeling like I could simply do better, and I wanna do better.
But I decided not to be a dumb fuck like I have been in the past, so instead of pushing myself even harder I am giving myself some room to breathe right now. I really really feel like I need to get back my creative spark and drive for art, but I couldn't focus on that because I've been keeping myself busy with commission work at all times, never allowing myself to rest and recharge my creative batteries properly.


Now I want to make this perfectly clear, I am not going on a hiatus. Buuuuut there will be some significant limitations to the upcoming commissions, at least for the time being. I am still occupied by the comic project I am doing with  Starhoof and that's still going on in the background keeping me busy, so other than that... I won't be really doing too many commissions for the rest of 2019.


I might be dropping some singular commission slots here and there so please be on the lookout, but I feel like I wanna focus on YCH auctions for now. YCH-type commissions are less mentally draining because I get to choose the initial sketch and pose that I liked.


So there will be that! I hope this whole thing didn't come off as whining at my clients, because god knows I love you all guys for supporting me all over the years, and without you none of what I do would be possible. I am truly truly grateful for everything <3


But... every artist has their own limit, I've been working non-stop for years and I feel like I've finally hit my limit. Time to slow down for a bit and recharge, and that's going to be for the better.

However, there is only one Fox to cover all this demand, and as such I had to apply some limiters this time, in order to not bury myself under too much workload like I used to in the past ^^;

Simply put, this time I have allowed a smaller number of commissions per month, because I also have some other long-term projects running simultaneously in the background and I gotta spread all of this evenly over time.

While this might sound disappointing at first, especially if you haven't managed to catch a slot this time around, there is another thing to keep in mind: if I complete these commissions faster than initially planned, I will be opening extra slots, so please be on the lookout if you are interested! YCH commissions might happen as well

So.... uh.... where do I even start this.

It has been like... well over two years since I last spoke up about how I've been doing. This was supposed to be just a long overdue commission update and some wishes for holidays and New Year, but as new things kept happening recently, the pressure has built up and I finally have to speak up and address certain things, for those of you who are interested. Although, it bums me out that I have been pretty much saying the same things two years ago, but I am hoping that this time it's actually different. The human condition fucking sucks ass sometimes.

And because I feel like I have been going through some changes over the last year, and this directly ties with my art work, I feel like you deserve to know what has been going on with me. And I am sorry if I seem less active nowadays, this is related to what I've been going through, but I hope that now I will be more active in the community once again.

To put things simply, I've been hard at work digging myself out of a mental hole that I have kinda thrown myself into. Also some other factors outside of my control have influenced this, but it's been a hard and long process and I am finally starting to feel better. I can't thank enough my wonderful girlfriend that has been helping me everyday and always supporting me in overcoming these obstacles, which were kinda my own fault to begin with, at least partially.
As you may know, at the end of 2017 my last five-year long relationship had fallen apart. This... shook me deeply to a degree which I haven't even anticipated, and all this time I've been coming to terms with various things that left a mark on me and people around me. Me and my ex are now on good terms, and I am thankful to her for that, because this is the time of leaving things in the past.
I feel like a lot of what I am saying here has been caused by me not caring about myself enough. I've been keeping a lot of things bottled up, and then lashing out at people and shutting myself off. This has caused me to develop a sort of love-hate relationship with my own work, where I am constantly dissatisfied with my art, and fixating over that has led me to working even harder, in order to constantly push myself to be better, without actually thinking about enjoying what I do. I feel like I have finally broke, and I said "that's enough" and since then I have began working on actually enjoying my craft again. I have some exciting things planned for 2019, and I hope that they actually pull through, because this time I am actually putting some self-care into the mix, instead of constantly worrying like the workaholic I am.
Sadly, the impact of all this wasn't "just" mental, but this had also began taking a toll on my health. Back in 2016 I have already addressed my ongoing problems with my wrist. Well those persisted and I finally had to see a doctor about this. I am in danger of developing carpal tunnel in the future, so I gotta stretch my wrist regularly, and generally take better care of it. And while I was seeing the doctor, I have also been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, a chronic condition which I am gonna have for the rest of my life pretty much. Sooooo that was a bummer. But it was also a wake-up call, because it made me realize just how badly I was neglecting myself. And this chronic disease that I have, IBS, might be partially induced by stress, which only shows just how badly I panted myself into the corner. And this might sound trivial, but even simply going to the doctor has been a challenge for me, because I was this badly fixated on ignoring my own issues. Then suddenly the tumblr purge happens and I pretty much loose over 20 000 followers over the span of a couple days. My tumblr is still up, but hardly anyone is active on there anymore, so you can take a guess how I am feeling about this after having been on the site every day for years.

All of this combined with the fact that I had a falling-off with the old group of friends, contributed to me wanting to leave all of this crap behind and get back to my roots, start enjoying life and art again, and slowly build my confidence back up. I want to make enjoyable things again, and I want you to enjoy my art because that's the thing I always loved doing the most.
Personally I've been feeling like a lot of the things I've been making have been lackluster recently, and that's mostly because I wasn't making enough personal art just for the sake of enjoying drawing. And I kinda forgot how to enjoy drawing, which is a bummer, but I feel like I can regain that spark now, by working towards that goal at comfortable pace and caring more about myself and about my followers too.

So if you got to this point in the journal, I actually do have a request for you. Tell me whatever you think about all this, and if you have any suggestions for me, creative ideas, things that you always wanted to see me doing, anything that you deem helpful in this situation. I value your opinions greatly, because as I am always saying I owe everything I have to your support.

I also wanted to wish all of you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Stay safe in 2019 everyone, keep doing the things you love and keep caring about the people you love. At the end of the day, that's all that matters in life. And don't forget to care about yourself as well in all of this <3

Hey y'all! A little bit of a long overdue life update and art status, I know that many people been asking me about finally opening commissions again, but as per usual real life got in the way.



They finally will open this month, but even though I should stay open for a long time, don’t expect me to be able to start working with you immediately after you hit me up. I still have a small backlog of older things to complete and an ongoing comic project and keeping that in mind, I have to balance everything out and spread upcoming orders evenly in time.



One thing you can be certain, is that if you wrote me, I WILL get to you. This is both to people still waiting for me and new clients.

Due to some real life circumstances I’ve used to overstrain myself in the past, and I am currently working on fixing that slowly but steadily, and so I don’t want that to happen again in the future. I will be accepting smaller amounts of commissions per each month, and I am hoping to work more fluently because I am in a better place personally right now. IRL issues really can affect a workflow in a negative way, but hopefully this is all behind me now.



To people still waiting for me, I am sorry for this delay. Partially this is the reason why I didn’t wanna open commissions earlier, I wanna have a clear account because I care about each and every single one of my clients and everything will be completed accordingly. But before you jump to claim a spot, please take a moment to read up on some details and changes. Most likely I won't be able to start working with you until September anyway, due to my waiting list which is still filled with some larger commission projects. However, please take into consideration I might always write you earlier than estimated, there are always some dropouts and reschedules.

Alright. First of all, I've had to noticeably increase the price of complex backgrounds. I've noticed that I've been spending increasingly more and more time working on them as I progress with my art, and admittedly I'd rather focus on characters with my commissions, so I had to balance things out. Complex backgrounds are more expensive, but if you choose to order them after all, I will have more time to work on them thanks to the increased price, resulting in even better outcome. However, I am honestly hoping that now the commissions will shift to more character-oriented orders. I am honestly enjoying working on them more.

(Note for people who haven't paid me yet, but already got their price estimate from me: your orders are NOT affected by this change, once you have gotten a pricing from me, for that order the old pricing still applies. Only the orders booked from this day onwards use the new pricing.)

Okay, so I might have some Internet connection issues at the beginning of February, because we're changing our apartment and I need to sign a new deal with teh Interwebz provider and I don't know exactly how long this is gonna take, soooo this might result in a few days without the Internet. Hello. I am back from my vacation and I am returning to you with a rough plan for the next few months

I'll try to keep it simple: my computer gear is getting old. At that point it has been continuously failing on properly running everything, and you can imagine how much that affects a digital artist. My screen is kinda outdated and colours are inadequate, which greatly affects the visual works I'm making. This has been showing on my bad workflow. I can feel I need this upgrade before I am totally unable to work.

So all in all, everything that I really need is the stuff that is faster and renders colours in top notch quality. I most likely will be after a Retina or EIZO display

Therefore, here's what I decided on as a sort of crowdfunding method: the entire income from the next two or three PWYW art packs will be solely dedicated to my gear upgrade. You know that your money will be well-spent, and you will help me create even more in return (I plan on making some special releases and milestones as a sort of thank-you content)

in total, I need roughly 2,500-3000$ and based on the sales from the first art pack, this is rather doable

Here is the plan for the upcoming months:

**** within a day or two I will release a Full Resolution Archive; a selection of my art (excluding commissions) in high guality, suitable for wallpapers, printing etc.

**** Choice of Ponies vol.2 at the end of this month (possibly with extra content for achieving milestones)

**** A collaboration art pack made with fellow artists scheduled to release at the end of October/beginning of November (don't worry, in this case every artist gets their fair part of income, I am not that kind of greedy bastard :D)

**** A long-awaited full length comic, scheduled for Christmas/New Year (This one is the thank-you content, and it happens ONLY if crowdfunding successes)

Ehhh… after I saw some positive feedback under my recent Aloe and Lotus, the old desire to make a comic strip returned. The thing is, I’ve never been making this kind of publisher work and I’m completely focused on my single-drawing commission works, as this is my main target right now.

But, I thought “why the hell not, let’s take it for a spin”. However, I can not afford to invest all my time into a project that might not even pay off. This all might sound like a cold calculation, but that’s life, folks.

So, this is why I decided to give it a test by creating a small art pack in my free time. If this kind of work goes fluently, I might switch to that instead of a comic. But I can’t determine it myself, this is where you step in.

Most likely all of my content will be Pay What You Want, so you can get it even for free since I was always uploading my works without any charge.

However, I am not gonna lie that every penny keeps me alive and working for your enjoyment. You’re a great audience and all the feedback pumps me up to do more.
