General | Posted 13 years agoInjustice may not be Mortal Kombat...
General | Posted 13 years agoBut it's getting dangerously close to fatalities with this one. XD
https://youtu.be/rmo-rAD9ho8
I'm actually starting to get really excited for this one. I'm starting to get more into DC comics lately and Mortal Kombat was in my opinion possibly the best fighter released this console generation so I think NetherRealm can pull it of. And even if the arena hazards end up being imbalanced bullshit I doubt they could be any worse than the bullshit oozing out of Marvel's latest fighting foray.
Bring on Injustice!

If you like comic books...
General | Posted 13 years agoCheck out my Twitter page every Wednesday. It's right there in the contact information.
My local comic shop gets their weekly shipment on Wednesday like every other comic shop and every week I hang out there for a few hours, reading paperbacks and weekly releases that catch my interest. On twitter I do little blurbs about the ongoings I subscribe to so if you'd like to see my thoughts in a nutshell check it out. This was a hefty week so now is as good a time as any.

Ken's Rage 2 footage: Juda and Shuu
General | Posted 13 years agoFinally get to see a peek of these guys in action. Pretty sweet. Can't wait for this game to get released.

Now I'm just waiting for them to show some Ein footage and confirm the Rasho are playable. If Han isn't playable I'm going to be pissed. Dude didn't need any of that Original Hokuto or demon aura bullshit to kick ass. I wanna get my Kung Fu Freddie Mercury on.

Last night was fun so ask me more!
General | Posted 13 years agoYup! More questions. Feel free to ask ridiculous ones. Silly questions, goofy requests, whatever. Go nuts and offer some material for me to blab about.

Give me something to talk about.
General | Posted 13 years agoFeel like rambling tonight. Anybody have anything in particular they want me to talk about? Questions are cool too.
Deadpool Trade Paperbacks For Sale
General | Posted 13 years agoAnyone who talks comics with me knows I'm a pretty hardcore Deadpool fan and in that vein I've been highly critical of the now concluded run by writer Daniel Way. I don't like it to put it kindly. Sadly it took me about five volumes to realize this. Well, I want to free up some shelf space and since this is a series I have no interest in revisiting I'm putting them up for sale. Figured I'd post here before I put them on ebay just in case anybody I know is interested.
All comics are in Like New condition with no damage or wear to mention.
Volumes
-Deadpool Vol. 1: Secret Invasion
-Deadpool Vol. 2: Dark Reign
-Deadpool Vol. 3: X Marks the Spot
-Deadpool Vol. 4: Monkey Business
-Dark Reign: Deadpool/Thunderbolts
This lot of paperbacks would normally cost almost $75.00 brand new. I'm selling the whole bundle for just $45.00. This price isn't set in stone so feel free to haggle.
If you have any questions or are interested feel free to note me or leave a comment. Just giving my fuzzy associates here a chance to jump on this before I take them someplace more public.

Who wants Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3?
General | Posted 13 years agoGotta vent. If you want to get to the meat of the journal skip to after the list.
I've had it. This is finally the straw that broke the camel's back. I have had it with this damn piece of shit game for the last time. Today after playing about 3 hours worth of this game, and getting next to no enjoyment out it, I came to the realization that as long as this fucking thing is on the shelf I'm going to keep coming back to it over and over simply because Nova and Rad Spencer are in it and unlike my fighters of choice, this one has decent netcode and as well as a very active online community.
I keep telling myself maybe I'll make some progress. Maybe I'd finally wrap my head around some of these retarded mix-ups. The fact is I never will. I get the most enjoyment out of fighters through self improvement. If I know I won't improve then what's the point? I've given this game several too many chances and no matter how many times I try to actually have fun, playing with shit still stinks.
I hate Team Aerial Combos.
I hate X-factor.
I hate how one mix-up can result in a dead character.
I hate how blocking an attack is almost as bad as getting hit.
I hate the retarded hit-boxes.
I hate the teleports.
I hate how you are expected to be able to consider the ludicrous number of options and variables a any given instant.
I feel a bit better now.
So here's the deal, I've got two copies of UMvC3. One fore PS3, the other for Xbox. I want to get these games out of my house so I'm not tempted to play them again but I only want to give them away to good friends. Hopefully somebody who doesn't get as competitive as me and might actually have fun with this frantic mess. I only have two requests. One, that you not sell it in case I need it back for god knows why. Consider this like a rental with no concrete return date. The second is be willing to pitch in a bit for shipping and handing, especially if you're abroad.
Like I said, this is for friends only. If I don't know you pretty darn well I won't consider letting you grab one of these copies.

About Promethius.
General | Posted 13 years agoAnother damn Cosmic Comic journal.
General | Posted 13 years agoYeah, because I'm not done beating this horse. Let's start with Nova.
First of all, I'm going to say Jeph Loeb's Nova is non-negotiable with me. I don't care who says how passionate he is about the book. He has yet to address Richard Rider's death. Also, Loeb hasn't written a good story in years. In fact he's written some of the worst. Just mentioning "Ultimatum" should be enough to make any comic reader throw up in their mouth a little.
Also, maybe it's me but Loeb naming this new Nova after his late son Sam Loeb strikes me as being in very bad taste. Yes it's tragic his son died so young but naming a comic character after him seems like a bad idea for a few reasons. For one thing it runs the risk of this character devolving into a Gary Stu of same capacity. Also, that is he's being added at the expense of a popular and beloved character is sure to piss off some people, myself included. It just doesn't seem like a good idea to honor the memory of a loved one by creating a character that has so much potential to wind up largely hated. Arguably he already is. All in loving memory?
Moving on to Guardians of the Galaxy.
I harp on Bendis a lot but the fact is he can and actually has put out good work. However this has always, always been solo titles for street level crime fighters. If they're wise guys, all the better. Daredevil and Ultimate Spider-man is good stuff. His team books on the other hand have been consistently terrible. His long tenure on Avengers has been especially atrocious. When all the characters on a team talk the same about irrelevant crap the team is no longer entertaining. That's why I never believed Bendis was a good pic for Guardians. That and the fact that it's a cosmic book being written by a guy who specializing in street level crime which in my mind are polar opposites. However if there were any doubts that this run would be garbage, a recent interview by Newsarama has dispelled them. I'm now fairly certain this book won't be worth using as toilet paper. Just look for yourself. I mean it, read this.
Brian Bendis and Guardians of the Galaxy
Quite a few red flags there. Let me go over the big ones for myself.
-He mentions Guardians feeling like it was in it's own little world as if it were a weakness. I know several people who consider that a strength. For me certainly a big part of the cosmic appeal is for once Earth isn't the center of the universe. The universe is a big place and I like seeing action elsewhere.
-"Guarding the galaxy for Earth" is something he said at one point and it's bullshit. It spits in the face of why these Guardians were formed. They were made in order to be a first-strike team to immediately take care of galactic threats for the sake of all galactic civilization. Not just Earth. Why is Earth going to be the center of the universe again?
-Explore their relationships with one another? That's not what made Guardians fun! Guardians of the Galaxy is like The Dirty Dozen in space. They're an eclectic mishmash of characters that don't exactly get along completey and those interactions are where the fun is. For that matter is he somehow inplying there wasn't much character development in the DnA run? That it took a back seat to the hard sci-fi? If so then I disagree entirely
-This quote has a couple things in particular.
"This is stuff about the Marvel Universe that I love dearly, but my instincts sometimes are always to go back to street-level or crime-related, character-based stuff. But — I do like taking the part of me that offers that, and bringing it to the characters you least expect. And I think Rocket Raccoon is the character you’d least expect."
First of all for the love of god follow your instincts and go back to crime/street level books. It's what you're good at man. And just for the record, Rocket Raccoon is one of the first characters I'd expect to have that kind of treatment. He's a scrappy little guy and if you're doing your research you'd know that.
-Groot will be more "jewey"? What the fuck does "jewey" even mean? Does it pertain to being Jewish? If so, how the hell did Groot ever come off as "jewey"?
I hope these books flop...hard.

May not livestream console games in the future.
General | Posted 13 years agoTried it tonight but to be perfectly honest I'm kinda of leery about doing it again. It may have been part of installing the video capture software but there were a lot of unknown executables by anti-virus picked up and I blocked in the process. I don't know if they're harmless or not but I'm pretty paranoid about that sort of thing. To add to that I think the software was kinda pushing my stream to the brink of instability. I get the sense it was dancing the line.
I dunno. What do you guys think? I haven't committed to returning the capture device yet so maybe if a more tech savvy person can enlighten me. Otherwise if anyone wants a capture device let me know. X3
Until then console streaming is on hold.

If I were to livestream console games...
General | Posted 13 years agoWhat would you guys want to see me play? I bought some hardware on amazon and am going to try a console gaming livestream when it arrives. For the sake of convenience I'd prefer to keep it limited to games available on the current generation of consoles since m older ones are boxed up at the moment.
Just name ones you either know I have or would like to see me play. The only ones I'm determined to stream if possible are Sengoku Basara 3 Utage, Vanquish and probably Bionic Commando. Suggestions are open!

General | Posted 13 years agoHere's that footage I mentioned in the last journal.

It going to cost a pretty penny to import but it'll be worth it. Easily my most anticipated game of next year. Hell, one of the few I'm anticipating at all.
Is Wham voiced by Solid Snake? Dude got even cooler. XD

Well, I got what I wanted from TGS
General | Posted 13 years agoSome juicy new gameplay footage of the JoJo All Star Fighter and the following trailer:

I'm glad TGS is still around. It's more exciting than E3 has been for a while. Still, I honestly think I'm spending less and less on games. I think a fair amount of my money this year has gone to cheap HD re-releases of older, better games and digital only titles. Here's a list of the only games I'm really looking at in the foreseeable future and why. Feel free to share yours.
-Anarchy Reigns: If it ever friggin' comes out in the west! Looks to have a certain God Hand flavor with multiplayer. I love a good brawler and this might wind up being this console generation's Power Stone if you will.
-Metal Gear Rising: Fuck Kojima's Ground Zeroes and Fuck Bayonetta 2. MGS has been in a rut after Snake Eater and this game looks like a better action title than Bayo ever did. May even accomplish the nigh impossible task of making Raiden cool.
-JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle: Fanatical brand loyalty. Looks awesome too. Actually captures the series visual style. Need to import though. No chance it's leaving Japan.
-Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2: Again, franchise fondness and I really liked the first one. I know Musou games aren't especially popular but I enjoy a few from time to time.
-Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed: The first one was an excellent kart racer, superior to Mario's recent offerings in my opinion. This one looks even better.
-Dragon's Crown: Odin Sphere meets Streets of Rage with online multiplayer. And it's purdy. Me want.
-Phantasy Star Online 2: PSO was the only MMORPG I could ever get invested in. Phantasy Star Universe fell a bit short. This one looks to greatly surpass both predecessors and it free to play. Also, supposedly PC and PSVita versions can play with each other. Awesome!
-Ace Attorney 5: I love me some Ace Attorney.
-Etc.: Getting th Zone of the Enders HD collection. Great games. Maybe if it makes enough money Kojima will finally give Metal Gear a rest for a bit. Plan to get Tekken Tag Tournament 2 at some point but I'm in no hurry. Watching Hitman Absolution with some consideration. I love the Hitman games to death and this one is still being developed by the same guys at IO, but when Squeenix is involved I'm always on edge.
What are you guys looking forward to and why?

Guardians of the Galaxy (comic talk)
General | Posted 13 years agoWell, I finally caught up on news and came to learn that a Film based on Guardians of the Galaxy has been green-lit with a projected opening date of August 1st 2014. So before I go into thoughts about the movie I want to cover what's happening comic book wise. I wanted to see what's happening to cosmic Marvel since last I checked and I must say I'm dismayed.
In a nutshell Avengers Assembled and Brian Michael Bendis still continue to suck. So yeah, Thanos, Star-Lord and Drax are all back from the dead without so much as a bullshit explanation. They're just...back. Oh, and the Guardians of the Galaxy are back together as if Thanos Imperative never happened. There goes Bendis with his respect for continuity again *wink nudge*. I'm used to people coming back from the dead in comics but not even giving an explanation is bullshit. And as if these guys being back written by Bendis isn't enough of a knee to the groin, apparently they thought it best to leave Nova (Richard Rider), Marvel's cosmic poster boy since Annihilation, MIA in the Cancerverse. And he doesn't appear to be returning anytime soon. If solicitations for Marvel NOW are anything to go by we're stuck with that new whiny bitch Nova, Sam fucking Alexander. Goddammit!
Okay, on to the Guardian's of the Galaxy movie.
-It's been written once by a person I've never heard of and is apparently now being re-written by another person I've never heard of. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
-It sounds like Marvel is in talks with James Gunn to direct. I guess it could work. Gunn has shown he can balance weirdness with comedy so he could be a fine director for this film.
-Confirmed Guardians so far are Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, Groot and Gamora. Fine picks if I say so myself. I can understand if Adam Warlock doesn't make it.
-Supposedly the backdrop is a pilot somehow winds up in space and ends up meeting the Guardians. Obviously this pilot will be the fish out of water the audience is meant to connect to but it makes me wonder if it'll be Star-Lord or maybe somebody else.
Part of me is happy this film is happening and part of me is worried. On one hand, as awesome as The Avengers was I think it's refreshing to see something more obscure with the potential to be good. Marvel has handled their in house films a hell of a lot better than, say, Fox with the Fantastic Four. On the other hand though they're dipping into cosmic territory which makes me think this film is either going to be amazing or a total bomb. Avengers dipped into Cosmic territory but it had the benefit of five films worth of set-up.
Cosmic stories are difficult to adapt to film in my opinion. Cosmic stories are larger than life with big ideas carrying universal implications and a whole lot of weirdness that be difficult to condense into a two hour movie. DC's Green Lantern is probably the best example. That film had a lot of ground to cover as both establishing the hero and the cosmic themes that go along with the Green Lantern Corp and still tell a compelling story. It failed brilliantly. Also look to X-Men 3's treatment of the Dark Phoenix. These sci-fi elements are tricky to incorporate into an action packed summer blockbuster. Now granted I thought Thor was a tall order as well but they pulled that one off remarkably well. I just think Guardians might be harder.
I guess a part of me is also kind of worried Marvel is trying to bring their Cosmic stuff more mainstream. You can see it with cosmic characters popping up on shows among other things. As much as I'd love to see cosmic stories endure in Marvel, I'm aware of the editorial tendency to give big titles over to their "star writers" and if cosmic marvel being successful means handing it over to the likes of Fraction, Loeb and Bendis, I'd prefer the cosmic stable rest in peace.
Dear god, now I've got this horrifying mental image of Bendis bringing Captain Marvel back from the dead and having him spend panel after panel eating a hot dog or something and making snarky small talk with Luke Cage or something. I need a second to forget that image somehow. Now where did I put that bleach?

Fall of Cybertron's multiplayer is pretty sweet...mostly
General | Posted 13 years agoSo after beating Fall of Cybertron's campaign twice and getting all single player achievements I finally dipped my toes into multiplayer. On the whole I'd say it's improved over War for Cybtertron's though it does have a few hiccups. I think I'll just make a list and plop my thoughts on it in no particular order.
Like
-Weapons are class specific
You can't pick up your opponent's weapons so now classes feel for solidified in their roles and you don't get stupid things like cloaked scouts sneaking up close with the strongest shotgun in the game.
-No more Killstreak powers
And I couldn't be happier. These were the biggest bullshit occurrences in last game. Crap like temporary instant kill melee attacks or a giant "Fuck you" cannon that deal absurd splash damage. They're all gone. Happy day!
-Better balance
The above two tweaks make the classes on the whole feel much more balanced with pros and cons and I don't get the sense there's any best class anymore. Also, classes only get to chose one of two abilities which is also good. The abilities sem more thought out. Last game a team of tight knit Leaders was nigh unstoppable. Not the case anymore.
-No more Warcry
Fuck Warcry
-The universal dash
All classes can dash now, not just the scout. The end result is firefights tend to be more frantic. This ability is also a bad thing though. I'll get into that later.
-Host migration
In WFC if the host left the match the game ended which sucked for everyone. This time the game simply pauses until it makes someone else the host and then resumes roughly where people left off. Much appreciated. I hated getting in a match only to get kicked out because the host was leaving.
-Customization!
You can mix and match body parts and essentially make your own Cybertroian. Unfortunately selectable colors pairs are pre-set. You don't get a color palette and pick the primary and secondary colors like last time but I think it's mostly a fair trade.
Dislike
-Vehicle abilities gone
This ties in with the universal dash and why I think it was also a bad thing. Vehicles no longer have the abilities that granted them extra mobility like barrel rolls or a quick 180 turn. In WFC vehicles are offensively more limited than the robot mode so the biggest reason why you'd transform was for the added mobility and firepower. However, In FOC now that robot mode is significantly more nimble these missing vehicle abilities make the vehicles seem even more limited. Supposedly the mode is more durable than robot but I don't feel it. With these abilities missing there are rarely any situations I think it's better to be a vehicle simply because you're more versatile as a robot.
-Multiplayer Achievements
The last game had them too but they were strictly for class leveling. FOH has the kind where you actually have to do something specific in a public match. I hate these so much because they are a constant distraction. Even if you're not trying to get them you can be damn sure somebody else is and not playing with the team or playing to their fullest as a result. I hate these kinds of achievements.
-Matchmaking needs to even out
In the last game if you were in a party with friends you were guaranteed to be on the same team even if it meant uneven teams. This could be problematic for fairness obviously if you had like five against two which did actually happen to me. Sadly this problem remains and now that the classes are so balanced it's more vital than ever to have even teams. In WFC you could overcome a number deficiency trough clever use of skills and killstreaks but now that these are largely gone it's become such a numbers game that one extra player is all it takes to tip the scales in a dramatic way.
-Capture the flag is ass
The CTF mode in this game is horrible. You have to actually have to fill a bar to grab the flag to start and when a stolen flag is dropped it takes next to no time for the opponents to return it to the base. This completely eliminates those exciting and heated fights over the flags dropped in the field because flags never stay in the field. It's so hard to get momentum going and I've had far too many times the whole match had been a painfully dull stalemate. What's worse is the flag bearer can't even instant kill melee by merit of being the flag bearer but he can still use his normal weapons. I'm sorry. Maybe it's the college years of Halo but I was under the impression being the flag bearer meant sacrificing something but gaining a small perk. Being unable to carry the flag in vehicle mode isn't nearly enough.

Transfangasm
General | Posted 13 years agoBeat the Fall of Cybertron campaign. Best game this year by far in my opinion. Granted I'm biased as hell but I seriously thought it was a great campaign with excellent action, solid story and some great set-piece moments. Also, they played "The Touch" in the credits which was amazing.
Also, just as a life long fan of Transformers I really need to stand back and applaud the fine folks at High Moon Studios for the amazing amount of respect they showed to the source material in this interpretation. It's speaks volumes about the talent there. They either love Transformers themselves or they seriously did their research. Either way they demonstrated just what can make Transformers so awesome as both a story and as action packed entertainment.
Other assorted thoughts, maybe with spoilers:
-I love how the Combaticons really got to shine in this game. I always liked those guys and they're easily my fave combiner team. I think it's because they're kind of like a robot version of the A-Team,only evil. X3
-Whoever voiced Jazz was perfect. Dude sounded like a young Scatman Crothers. S'perfect.
-Conversely,Steve Blum needs to stop voicing everybody in everything. He was a godawful Shockwave and honestly one of the last people I'd pick for the role.
-His name is Slag, not Slug.
-Why no love for Sludge? Only Dinobot to not appear in the campaign. He never gets any love and he's probably my fave barring Grimlock. I think because of that one time in the comics he was crushing hard on this good looking woman who's life he saved. XD
-Why is Bumblebee becoming a mute in all continuities? It totally baffles me.
-Soundwave lamp post was an awesome easter egg.

General | Posted 13 years agoGoing to try Livestreaming later.
General | Posted 13 years agoWhat with the new laptop I thought I'd give the Livestreaming thing a go. I've got the day off so I want to try to do it today and see how it goes. Will probably be around 2pm central time. If it happens I'll be streaming Half-Life Source. Anybody interested in watching me play with live commentary? I'll chat with people texting too.

Finally picked up Soul Calibur V
General | Posted 13 years agoI got a brand spankin' new copy in an online auction for just a hair over 20 dollars and boy am I glad I didn't pick this up at launch. Not going to go crazy here but I'm going to break down my thoughts quick and keep in mind these are based on about a days worth of heavy play.
-Game feels faster than SCIV which is good in my opinion. Mechanic changes are a mixed bag though. I think brave edge is a clever way to make the old Soul Charge aspect useful again and I like how Guard Impacts are mandated by a meter as well. No more of those GI tug of war matches. A small level a resource management adds a welcome level of strategy. However I don't know what to think of Just Guard and Critical Edges seem scrubby. I can never get quick steps to work when I want and they don't seem like they're very effecting at sidestepping anyway.
-Game feels rushed. The game is notorious for its lacking content but even knowing that I was still taken aback by how scant it was. There isn't even a proper training mode to introduce players to the new mechanics. Just some scant arcade modes , Create a Soul and a shitty story mode. Fact is I think there's more content in budget fighters like Virtua Fighter 5, Skullgirls and 3rd Strike Online Edition. That's pretty pathetic when your game is full price at launch.
-Training mode is convoluted as fuck. I still don't know how to get the damn dummy to crouch or block or any of that rudimentary stuff. Virtua Fighter's training mode has completely spoiled me. Now I sorely miss when I can't see frame data.
-Create a Soul is back like a rash and it's even more robust than ever before. This mode has been the bane of this series since it first appeared in SC3. I can only speak for myself but I don't want to make some stupid looking stick character made from shitty, bland components. Customizing existing characters is cool but we don't need this many options. Obviously this game is incomplete/ rushes so Project Soul had to be short on time and/or money. Instead of making a damn good game to start they had to focus an expanding this superfluous mode and then try to charge us for more parts via DLC. No thank you. I want to play a fighting game, not a goddamn dress up fashion simulator.
-Character designs are thankfully toned down largely from the last title. SCIV's designs were hideously over-designed. Less is more and the returning cast members thankfully look much better for it.
-The roster is kind of fucked in some ways. I hate all the new characters except ZWEI. Most of them are replacements for older, better characters. Not a single one is likable to me. And some characters didn't even return. No Talim, Zasalamel, Yun-Seong or Setsuka. Two of the new obnoxious characters get alternate versions and one is largely a Setsuka clone. Speaking of clones why the fuck are there THREE mimic characters? Fuck that!
-The online options are rather clever. Things like Soul Colosseum and the registering rivals is pretty cool. Sadly it's all undone by the single most finicky netcode I've ever seen in a fighter. It's not bad in a traditional sense. It's bad in a more insidious way. The match will be smooth as butter when all the sudden mid match the connection get's lost for whatever reason. I KNOW it's not my connection. I've got damn fast cable internet and I can play all of my fighters with nary a hitch against people all over the country with no issues. But somehow this one spazzes and drops all the time. I could barely finish half my fights which is atrocious.
-Ezio is a good guest character. Fits in great.
-It's a fun game but a godawful product. I pity anybody who bought this at launch because for a full price title it's absolutely not worth it. I don't know what the future holds for the Soul Calibur series but if they ever make a sixth installment it better get more time in the oven than this one because even though it's a fun game, the lacking content is so bad it's shameful.
No wonder the hype for this game is dying already.

General | Posted 13 years agoJoJo All-Star Battle Roster Wishlist
General | Posted 13 years agoWith the CyberConnect 2 JoJo game under development it was people are already saying who they wish was on the roster I feel like throwing my hat into the ring. An interview suggests the roster is going to be pretty large but just for arguments sake I'm going to try and keep my list down to the bare minimum I want to see. I'd prefer a smaller roster of well developed characters then an inflated one with lots of padding. Just to recap, the following characters are already confirmed.
-Jotaro Kujo/Star Platinum
-Joseph Joestar (Young)
-Wham
-Gyro Zeppeli
And now for my wishlist!
Phantom Blood
-Jonathan Joestar
Battle Tendency
-Caesar Zeppeli
-Cars
-ACDC
Stardust Crusaders
-Noriaki Kakyoin/Hierophant Green
-Mohammed Abdul/Magician's Red
-Jean-Pierre Polnareff/Silver Chariot
-Dio Brando/The World
Diamond is Unbreakable
-Josuke Higashikata/Crazy Diamond
-Okuyasu Nijimura/The Hand
-Koichi Hirose/Echoes
-Yoshikage Kira/Killer Queen
Vento Aureo
-Giorno Giovanna/Gold Experience
-Bruno Bucellati/Sticky Fingers
-Guido Mista/Sex Pistols
-Diavolo/King Crimson
Stone Ocean
-Jolyne Kujo/Stone Free
-Hermes Costello/Kiss
-Weather Report/Weather Report
-Narciso Anasui/Diver Down
-Enrico Pucci/Whitesnake
Steel Ball Run
-Johnny Joestar/Tusk
-Diego Brando/Scary Monsters
-Wekapipo
-Funny Valentine/Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Jojolion
-Jousuke/Soft & Wet
Yeah it's all the primary people and other essentials. I may do a follow-up of the more secondary characters I wouldn't mind seeing as well, just for the hell of it I mean.

Help! A Question for Computer Savvy Folk
General | Posted 13 years agoSo I'm about to buy a new laptop and for the moment I'm seriously looking at three different models. They should all function pretty well but as an added bonus I'm trying be mindful of a PC game that will be coming out and if any of these could play games pretty well it would be a huge help. Here's the minimum system requirements for said game.
OS: Windows XP/Vista/7 32 bit OR Vista/7 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
RAM: Windows XP:1.5GB or more
RAM: Vista/7:2GB or more
HDD: 8GB or more
RESOLUTION: 1280×720
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT or similar or more.
SOUND: DirectX 9.0c or higher
I just want some honest opinions from computer literate indivduals on how good these machines look and how game-worthy they might be. I need to make a decision by Saturday.
1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16834215371
Recommended by a friend.
2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215345&Tpk=AS5750Z-4835
It's on sale at Target right nor for $330 and my sister is a general manager so she can get a bit of a discount too.
3. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16834215417
There's a store in the mall that is selling almost exactly this model but for $500. The only difference I can discern is that instead of having the Nvidia GeForce graphics card it's using the Intel HD Graphics 3000. Probably why it's cheaper. Other than that all the other specs are the same.
Also, not to be rude, but if you really don't know much about computers and can't offer much input I'd prefer you not comment. I'm on a super tight budget and I don't want to spend a few hundred dollars based on flimsy guesses. Right now I need confident, well informed opinions.
