with a heavy heart I have to say goodbye to my beloved lizard Katsu. He was an absolute treasure in my life and got me through so many tough times. He was incredibly smart, silly, and full of energy. He would be your perfect lap pet when you are lonely, and always look forward to seeing you when you come home from a long day at work.

He was just around 8 years old. I really truly wish he could've been around for longer, but unfortunately most vets don't take in exotic reptiles. Still, I hope that he passed peacefully and knowing that he was truly loved, and that he will be sorely missed.

HEEYYYYY apologies for not giving an update sooner on FA! If you've been following my discord server this information might not be a surprise, but back in October I was originally set to have surgery. Unfortunately, because of my insurance giving me difficulties, that surgery has been pushed back to a mystery date. Because of it, I've been working in between then and now on commissions and such before I'll be getting ready to move around Thanksgiving. Once im moving I'll likely be inactive again until somewhere around early to mid December. Which also means I might be celebrating my birthday moving boxes in a uhaul as well xD

Currently as of this week I caught a cold, which wasn't great because it held me back from packing and working on comms.

Hopefully this week will be a better week, but this is also my last week I can fully spend on packing before getting ready to move stuff the following week ;;

Anyways, I'm still very much alive! I apologize in the small delay in art! If you've been wondering why the lack of new YCH's and adopts, now you know xD once im all caught up i might be able to do something for Chirstmas, but no promises sadly!

Hey, just wanted to write this here since I see this user is still posting more and more ads for their work and only delivering for very specific clients and completely ignoring others.

I commissioned this artist for a YCH their made (and have deleted the post for) back in Jan 25th of this year. I paid for it, and not only have I never gotten my piece (which was an icon) but have been ignored on their discord, and even on their more recent posts where I've made complaints about them continuing to post more YCH's despite multiple people also having the same problem with me about their work ethic.

I do not expect to get the art I paid for, or a refund, but I do not want others supporting their work when they are being extremely unprofessional with their time and communication.

EDIT: I just received my YCH from them a day after posting this Journal. While i'm happy to finally get my icon that was owed to me for the past 8 months, I still can't recommend getting art from this person.

Planning on getting a drive out here soon. It'll be simple, just a way for me to get the funds together in order to afford my bills and still take a decent vacation this summer. Also in preparation to save for the medical leave I need to take in October for my top surgery!!

Still deciding on which character to star for the drive. I feel like i've used Xheilious more than enough times, so perhaps I'll use my raptor Nugget instead, or a different dragon of mine.

This year has been nothing short of busy! I just got a set of pre-made handbags done, so you might see those around soon being offered! As for other things, im wondering if trying to schedule some art stream time might be fun, and doing special commission requests on there too!

I'm also thinking of doing another weight gain drive this summer (as per yearly tradition lol) but I'm not too sure who to use for it. Would you guys prefer another dragon character or perhaps another species?

Apologies for the quiet, with the site being down for a while and me busy working on the fursuit, I haven't been super active. Hopefully later in the spring to early summer I'll have some new YCH's out for everyone to grab!

Since the start of the new year, things haven't exactly been great for me. I won't diverge into all of it, but the main reason i've been gone from here is due to IRL things going on combined with the current fursuit project i've been working to complete. Once that project is done, I will be moving back to doing art comms again, albiet slowly. I still need to update my prices to reflect the new taxes I need to account for in order to pay next year's tax return. So once those things are in order I will hopefully be back again. Until then, I will still accept the occasional commission or two at my current prices, and continue to pump out monthly sketches/stickers to my kofi members. Once I have everything done I should hopefully have pictures to show all of you!

And to those curious, yes I do take fursuit commissions, just only on occasion. I do need to resolve the pricing for them again because unfortunately this current commission is leaving me stuck in the red regardless. I would like to make more critters after this one is done however, especially more fatfur suits. You're always free to message if you're interested!

This year, due to IRS's fantastic greed and incompetence, we were greeted with a new policy which forces anyone making above $600 yearly on paypal to be taxed for their income they made.

Unfortunately I was affected by this.

Because I don't make much money and only live paycheck to paycheck, the debt that will be placed on me for using paypal will be substantial, and I will likely be forced to search for new methods of payment outside of paypal if this issues persists with the company.

edit: I realize now this is something to do with the IRS specifically cracking down on small business with the new thresholds being lowered substantially so that just about every small business is affected digitally. This was something I wasn't aware of since previously I never made enough on art comms to need to worry about taxes, so this was a first from me. Likely from now on I'll just need to add a tax to all my transactions to protect myself from ending up in more debt during tax season.

If there's to be any good news about this, at least I now know that art comms has been an extremely viable source of income, as it makes about 45% of my total income!

I apologize for any confusion I may have caused for anyone. I'm still very young and trying to learn about this stuff as I go, as I wasn't really taught much about this.

As January comes to a close, I will be putting a lot of my efforts towards fursuit making for a client in order to have their commission finished in the spring. During this time I will still be accepting new art commissions, but work will be temporarily slowed until the fursuit projects are completed. I hope you can understand!

Once i'm done I will likely be updating my prices as well.
