Where's winter?
Posted 15 years agoThey are saying this is the warmest winter here in over a century and I'd be inclined to agree. Considering that the ground is normally covered in snow this time of year and all the ponds frozen solid. Well, there's barely any snow to be found and the ponds filled with mushy ice. I just returned from a walk wearing sneakers and not even bothering to put on gloves. I daresay that we've had it pretty good up to the moment. I'm going so far as to dub it, "The Winter that Never Was." I hope this trend continues.

When the coyotes come a knockin
Posted 15 years agoWoke up to a surprise this morning, a coyote out in the driveway. Lived here for almost 30 years and never seen one until now. It fled before I could snap a picture but in all honesty I'd rather not see them so close.

Obama Day
Posted 16 years agoSo begins the term of Barrack Obama. On a completely unrelated note I'm doing requests atm mainly to get more practice using my tablet. Those so interested may drop me a note with what they'd like. Priority goes to my watchers so in other words I'm rewarding cronyism. Know, however, that there are some things that I cannot and will not do.
