Just a Run Down on Last Night- RL and SL
General | Posted 18 years agoSo, yesterday I felt horrible at work. I this huge boil on my back, yicky, I had a headache that would not go away, and because of the boil I could not sit in my chair very well which caused me to have a stiff back, and on top of it all I was dead tried.
So I leave work a few hours early, go over to Eratu's and sleep for about 3 hours. I wake up play on SL, he and I get into a slight fight (we made up), I went home and then my sister and I got into it.
I hate her at times, but that bitch is my sister. I mean it is just her and myself. We are the only two cubs from our parents. My dad just turned 50 on the 9th and my mom is now 46 today, so I think being close to my sister is a good thing. But she wants to be a bitch to me all the fucking time.
I finally snapped at her and told her that I was tried of her shit, I was tried of her always being a bitch to me, I was tried of being the one to support her in her writing and her treating me like I'm nothing. At that point in time I washed my hands of her. She is not to ask me for anything anymore. She will come in my room and say, "Xan, my loving big sister, can I...." and she will ask me for something and I'll happily let her have what she asks for.
So after the sister/sister drama I hop on SL and I'm warmly greeted by the ever sweet Shockwave. I was going to go hang out with him, but my two new friends, that I met at OklaCon, got on and I had not shown them my house yet. I took the moment to show my house off to both

We didn't get to rest long at my place because they were restarting it. We jumped to their place and didn't get to rest long because that one was being restarted as well. Finally we retreated to Furnation Vista and set up a hang out until it was all clear to go bakc to their place.
While hanging out with them, Crys and I started playing with Skylor and the poor ferret got all excited and that is all that ya'll need to know.
A bad night turned into a wonderful one thanks to the two of them. *murrs and kisses to her two friends*

Second Life Pictures- A Place to Store Them
General | Posted 18 years agoAs you know, I have a few SL pictures up in my gallery as well as in my scraps. Well I found a website that actually allows you to post these pictures. Well to be fair that is all that is posted. Anything that has to do with A virtual life; SL, IMVU, WOW, etc; can be loaded here.
the only thing is that I know a good bit of us, I'm included in this, like to post our snapshots of us in the middle of a good yiff, well they don't allow it. Yea, you can't post pictures of you and someone else yiffing. But at least it is a place that allows, and focuses, on letting you upload your VR pictures.

first day of the con I commissioned Crys aka Taillone for a badges, and that started a whole commission theme. Crys did me as a zombie and the other two commissions that I got where halloween themed. I comissioned HAZARD because of her AWESOME hooved animal skills and she did a zombie xanthe muching on Frankenstein Eratu 's arm.
That night there was partying, a fire and just furry goodness.
Saturday I was able to get my book back from Hazard and was able to get another commission in it by.... Damn forgot her name. Again it was halloween themed, she drew me as Jason and Eartu as Freddie. We are killing this poor fur, but heck, we are enjoying it.
That afternoon they played Pred/Prey and that was just fun to watch. Ebony did some awesome getaways from tags, Isfa I heard did some good ones, And it was just fun to sit and watch, I want to play next year. BUt the play for next year it that we play at dark.
Sunday they played ANOTHER round of Pred/Prey that was just as much fun to watch,
I got to meet Rune and we had a good time sitting at my tent just talking. He drew a bit and i tried to color, but I failed and stopped coloring. Rune did me a few favors and drew up a pattern that I'm getting done on a paddle, and he drew up a tattoo that I want. I love my Rune. He is the most awesome friend a mare could have.
Keekers, I got to meet up with Keekers, and she is a sweetheart. She gave me my badge of Sasha that she drew up for me. But geez I fell tall next to her. BUt she is still a doll and worth talking to.
Crys and her mate, Skylar where awesome to be around. I freaked Corsi out with my zombie badge by her so Crys has bragging rights.
Ok, someone tell Blotch that they need to speak up a bit more. Both of them are too timid to be furries. But their art is awesome. I bought one of the decks of cards off of them...I got one out of the 500 that were printied. These cards will NEVER be printed again and I got a deck.
Hehe, I got to hang out with Bucktown, I helped him set up his table so he could sale his CD's. I also helped him set up for the charity poker game. Hey, if you are looking for a GOOD furry rapper/singer, check out Bucktown's page. He was selling his CD for ten bucks and it has I think 15 tracks on it.... I'm sure he will correct me on this.
I got the chance to hang out with many other awesome furries.
OMG the food, If you didn't eat the food you missed out. Eratu got to show off his cooking skills Sunday night. He cooked the roast that we had for dinner that night. If you liked it there is a chance that he will be in charge of a second kitchen next year.
Halex offered me a spot on the security staff next year that I just might have to take him up on.
News about the Louisiana con has now spread towards Cali, so now were have a fire under our asses to get it up and running.
Hmm, I seemed to have helped out the charity a ton.... $626.00 worth of help at the auction.
Ok, let me talk about the landscape of the area.... Hills. Acutally just one major hill where the trukey roost happens to be. Other then that it is an easy walk around, but another reason I'm thinking about taking Halex up on his offer, I'd be able to stay in the cook's quarters in the Warmth. It was freakin cold at night even though we had 6 blankets covering us.
But I'd do it again with all the fun that I had.
I know I'm missing a ton, but I'm still VERY sore.
I'm out, and I hope those of you that tought about going this year that did not get hte chance to go will be able to go next year.

I'm a Furry *bounces up and down on Ophra's couch* And I'm a palomino (A.K.A. yellow) mare with purple mane and tail *bounces too high and falls over the back* Ouch.
3. What is the first thing your character would think of when he/she first wakes up?

4. Your character's favorite outfit would be?
Black tripp pants and a corset. But You would never know that if you see me in SL.

Eyes.... Are they always this bloodshot?

Hell yea.

She is so like me that it is scary. She loves with all her heart and looks over her friends, just like myself.

Faint, then wake up and go play with my horses.

Nope. Everyone sees my character as she is suppose to be, Loving and caring.

Her breast are large then mine, and so is her butt. Not to mention that since she is a horse she can run more then myself.

General | Posted 18 years agoYea, I have found another really good furson to watch. He is a writer and his stories are wonderfully done. He has a way of bring the story to life in your mind's eye.
The only other writer that I even think about looking at is my sister's works, so for me to sit down, read a story and enjoy it is a feat in itself because I really don't like reading.
His name is
teliver and the first story in his "On the Farm" series, 'Milk Me,' was amazing.
I'll certianly be reading more of his works from now on. Take a look and see if you would like to do the same.

Mate Troubles
General | Posted 18 years agoWell, I have been with my lovely mate for 1 year and 2 months... Yes we even count months, for now. I really would not change any of that for the world. BUT since I got my laptop I have been wanting to play with it. That means, playing on the net, playing in SL and all that wonderful stuff. I mean I let Eratu on there to play also, but it is MY laptop. I PAID for it. He did not. And now he is just upset with me for not letting him play on it... WTF just happen here?
Did you pay for it? NO! Did you help me pay for it? NOOO! So stop your whining please. Not to mention this was topped off with him being 'stressed' about switching jobs and the upcoming day, which should be like today or tomorrow, where he stops smoking.... *Gasp*
When I'm on my laptop, I try to sit next to him if I can. I'll even have a conversion with him while Im playing in SL. Hell, I was sitting next to him last night and he was reading my conversion that I was having with a friend. (Friend, you know who you are. Yes you, the one that I was talking to on SL last night.... By the way, thanks again for the veil you made me.) And yes, I did change my mind about playing Starfox yesterday, but that is because I wanted to play on MY LAPTOP. So then I had to deal with him being pissed off about not being able to play with the 'top.
So I looked at him last night as asked him, "Is this laptop going to cause a problem between us?" His answer, "No." THEN WHY ARE YOU GETTING SO EMO?
I try my damnest not to take out my emotions on him, but sometimes they get away from me. Of course I didn't let them get out of hand last night, but then he keeps going, "You know, you could leave your laptop here with me tonight," or, "Why don't you leave your laptop with me tonight?" So you want me to leave someone that I paid $1,200.00 for at your house? No offense but, HELL FUCKING NO!
I think he is just jealous that I have a laptop and he does not. I think he is jealous that I could BUY my own laptop and he can’t.
I don’t forsake him for the laptop, like I said before; I still interact with him while on it. Him on the hand, can’t hold a conversion when playing on the laptop. I’ll look up at him when he is on it and it is like I’m not even there.

General | Posted 18 years agoAlright, I know for a fact that when I get my laptop (which shipped out yesterday) that I'm loading SL on there. Yes, I'm going to be a goofball and get SL. But here is my question, anyone else one there? And do you know where I can get a good looking avatar built?
I know I'm either going to have to build my avatar or get someone to do it for me. Well, since I don't know how to build on that I'm going to want it would only make sense to get someone to build it for me.
Also, how much to people charge for avatars? Could I pay with USD in stead of SL's currency? Also to get my avatar will I have to sign up for a membership or will I be able to get it as a free member?
I really do want to get SL, but if I can't have my avatar then I guess I'll just pass on SL. I mean, come on... You always need more equines running around no matter where you are.
I know I'm either going to have to build my avatar or get someone to do it for me. Well, since I don't know how to build on that I'm going to want it would only make sense to get someone to build it for me.

But I'm having problems getting a good color for the patronus itself. I was thinking of using my marker, Brick White, very lightly and then go over it with my VERY light blue. But it does not give it that ghostly effect.... Any tips?
