Posted 13 years agoWell, the inevitable has occurred. My Orders have come in (finally) and I'll be moving to Savannah, GA come November of this year.
I don't know how long I'll be there, exactly, but it should be on the order of 2+ years. Hopefully none of it will be spent in SW Asia. I've spent more than enough time there for now; I want to relax and LIVE somewhere. No more of this "Well, I just got home, but don't get comfortable because I'll be leaving out in a year for a year. Again."
Sadly, being in the US Army, I don't have THAT much say concerning such things. So, I'll do the best I can (as always) and keep on Bouncing, like any good jackalope!

LIVESTREAM HELP!!!!
Posted 14 years agoOK, so I'm in Livestream, specifically 
fenrir-lunaris while he does his artwork. I've got a commission that he was just about to start work coloring ....
and I get disconnected. Epically. Total Fail.
I've closed and reopened my browser. I've rebooted my computer. Now, every time I try to get into Fen's channel, I get a second or so of the video, before it starts the "loading/buffering/working" circle-y icon, and the Chat never loads, it just goes to "disconnected."
HELP!!!!!

Gazebo Gods ....
Posted 18 years agoThis picture http://www.furaffinity.net/view/516568/ by my friend Smokey, has inspired me to some degree, so here goes.
For those of you who are familiar with Dungeons and Dragons, there's a particular comic strip out there (the name escapes me) that makes fun of some of the D&D name/word play.
For example, there's a monster known as a Gnoll, the pronunciation has the 'G' silent. There is allso a terrain feature by the same name. Therefore, a band of travelers come across a 'grassy gnoll' next to which is a "Wooden Gazebo." The party inspects, querries, and finally attacks the wooden gazebo, all to the utter frustration of the Dungeon Master, who cannot fathom why the characters would be attacking such a simple article of everyday architecture. Finally, he states that one of their attacks (flaming arrows, I believe, or a fireball spell) causes it to catch fire and burn completly to the ground.
The players are confused as to why their charaacters gain no experience. The fight lasted for a (relatively) long period of time and consumed quite a number of spells and other resources and therefore should have been a rather powerfull opponent.
This picture made me think of ... "What if there IS a creature names a 'gazebo' and all of our structures nowadays are actually shrines to the various incarnation of the Gazebo God(s) that we erect out of habit or some form of subconscious command and/or directive from said Gazebo God?"
Makes ya wonder, doesn't it?
Then again, I could be completly off my rocker. Who knows in this day and age.
