I am officially finished with school for the semester!! *happy dance* And the cherry on top? I got straight A's!!!! I can't even express how happy I am about this. I had some real concerns during the semester and I was very distracted with some ongoing irl drama. But I persevered & kept my eye on the prize. I'm a bit proud of myself, I think the last time I got straight A's was in the 5th or 6th grade. I imagine enjoying what your learning makes a huge difference. So anyway I have 3 months off before school starts again & I finally have some time to myself. I am hoping to be on FA more often :) And I have some projects I will be working on over the summer... gonna keep those under wraps for a bit until things are solidified. I am taking a 2 week break from photographing anything so I can reconnoiter & get my head together, but as soon as I have some new stuff I will post it!

Sorry for my longer and longer absences as of late. I have been working my ass of @ school and also working my ass off ... work oddly enough. Between the two I have barely had a moment to breath, but the upside of this coin is that the semester is over in one more week! I can't wait. 8-D To anyone I haven't been attentive to responding to lately I do apologize over the summer I will have more time to myself & I will much more responsive. Well I finally discovered where Tessa has been the last day and a half... in jail. She killed some of my neighbors chickens & they called animal control on her. Good plan that I can understand. After speaking to the pound I gave them permission to give the owners of the chickens my name and number so we could work out any restitution for said animals. I felt horrible about the damage to their property as well as the death of pets, as it turns out. Said owner then contacts me and when I express my desire to make things right in whatever capacity that may be he tells me "keep your dog on a leash". I apologize sincerely & explain she was on a leash but somehow got off. He then proceeds to tell me "Keep your dog on a leash or the next time I see her I will shoot her!" WTF?! I am shocked at this statement! And then he tells me "I also talked to all the neighbors and we are all up in arms about your dog getting off the leash repeatedly and running around peoples backyards. So they have said they will chase her into my yard the next time she does, just so I CAN shoot her!" WTFFFFF?! I am dumbfounded by this & he hangs up. This is a seriously fucked up confrontation in my estimation. I understand the damage to property and loss of a pet, but my dog is an absolute peach and has never done anything remotely like this before & to be honest I am quite perplexed at her actions. But I never expected threatening statements like that. So as a result I have come to the heart wrenching conclusion, that to be absolutely sure of Tessa's safety I am going to give her back to her former owner in South Carolina. I know Beowulf will be a mess and so will I but I am too afraid that she will somehow someway play her Houdini tricks again & end up dead. I don't want that, so instead I choose to loose my pup.... She has a week and a half then her other mother is picking her up... I have no words to express my sorrow...

So I feel like the worst mommy on the planet. One of my dogs, Tessa to be exact, has a terrible habit of being houdini. Somehow she managed to unclip her lead yesterday and she has not returned in 24 hours. I am a wreck, I have no idea what to do. I have been calling people no one has seen her. I'll be putting up posters tonight when I get home from work. I'm really afraid something bad has happened to her. Or that someone has taken my sweet girl for their own, because in the past she has done this a few times but she always eventually makes her way home. I'm a mess & I just want to die... Keep your fingers crossed for me & Beowulf that she comes home...

Hello there all! Sorry for the prolonged absence. I have been working out a lot of stuff in my life since loosing my job. I've been taking some time to figure myself out and decide what the hell I want to do with myself. I have decided to go back to school. I r gonna be a college student! I'm quite excited, and hopefully I will be transferring to an art school in Jan. So once I start school in May I will probably be online less. I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive and things are changing rapidly in my life so I apologize if I don't get back to anyone right away. Well here is a new equation I have learned in my life: crap economy + 10 years with my company = no job for me. So after 10 years and even moving for the company to get promoted busting ass on a daily and bringing my work mood home to my loved ones, I am now unemployed due to budget cutbacks. Lovely. Peachy fuckin keen. 2009 is the suck so far! Started off with kidney stones and has progressed to unemployment. Great shit right? Well anyway enough of a pity party for me. I am trying to look at this optimisticly. I am hoping for a new and better start in my life and I am hoping that I will be able to turn this into a way to do my photography full time, but as of yet I am unsure how to do that. I am even thinking of goin back to school. So I have options (and yes not too much to worry with dollars, I am getting severance and then unemployment, so although things will be very tight at least I wont end up homeless or anything.) Sorry I haven't been online as of late. My sorry excuse of a computer was riddled with viruses and its taken awhile to remove, clean and reinstall everything smoothly. (Not really finished as of yet). And just to add to the pleasantries of life I was taken to the ER from work the other day due to kidney stones. What a loverly experience that turned out to be. One vivid memory of that excruciating experience was yelling in pain puking my guts out and pausing to say to my phenomenal roomie and friend, "No babies... not ever... no babies for me!" (I was a tad out of it and in the most unreal pain.) But anywho, I was poked, prodded and the stone was retrieved from my innards. I now have a plastic tube in my entrails to assist with the pee factor, and although that's a bit unconfortable it is a blessing in comparison to my condition on New Years Eve. (Wadda way to start my new year). So now I'm done bitching and moaning, just wanted to let those of you close to me know what's going on. I'll be back on soon enough, hopefully with a fully functional computer! ^[.]^

Hello all! I'm looking for a little help. As you know I am artistically inept when it comes to drawing. And I would really like to get a good solid clothing design for my fursona. So what I'm asking you is to help me out. Do you or does someone you know enjoy/do well at clothing design? I'm looking to commision an artist to create and draw my fursona in her own style of clothes. she has a very eclectic style a mish mosh of gothic/native american. I've been told this is a particularly odd request and difficult to accomplish. I personally have no idea how to pull that off but perhaps someone here does? Blargh... I'm in Albany for work for 3 days... I'm alone... I'm pissed off... I don't like it here... did I mention I'm all by my fucking self? What is this feeling I'm having?... WTF am I lonely? Shadoe Walker

2. What is your character's name in another language?
Well being as how she's Native American I'm sure there is but not speaking a Native American language leaves me at a loss...

3. How old is he/she?
35

4. What is your character's race/species?
Shapeshifter, wolf most of the time tho

5. Do they have a crush?
Due to a myriad of tragedy in her life she is very closed emotionally & unlikely to let too many into her heart. Currently none that I know of...

6. Do they have many friends?
Yep she has friends, but they are few, even with friends she has a tendency to keep herself apart

7. What planet is your character from?
Earth, but in what reality I have no idea

8. Does your character like to eat?
being a creature of some sort of existence I do believe so.

9. What's his/her favorite food?
Depends on what form wolf=deer, human=steak (RARE), not sure in her other forms

10. What's his/her favorite drink?
She requires no more than water

11. Is your character annoying?
no, but certain traits of her personality are, (read: stubborn as an ox!)

Although she closes herself off to others she is loved by those she considers friends/family

I'm sure by someone somewhere, but who i don't know

Goth would probably be the most acurate

As far as I know the few relationships she has been in are hetero, but since we haven't talked about that aspect of her life recently I'm not sure if she's experienced the other side.

no she is not, but shes deffenately no whore either

writing, raising animals, nature

Normal isn't a word I would use to describe her, but neither is weird. She is quite unique I would say

I find her to be very attractive, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Like a block of ice! She has been very aloof for a very long time. I'm not sure if/when that will ever change

Yep, many animals and human too. But for the most part as of late she has been wolfen

Nope she is very level headed and logical

definitely not

Ummm...no

26. What's his/her IQ?
I'm not sure of the actual number but I would say above average

Not a disease/curse per se, but she rarely speaks to to the tone of her voice which is a constant growl

No she is among the living

Her only living blood family member is an older brother

30. Has he/she encountered any tragic times in life?
A large portion of her life has been plagued by tragedy. She is well versed in the variety of hurts others can bring onto each other.

Her childhood among a pack of wolves

32. If you could name 1 friend, which would you relate to your character?
I'm not sure that anyone I know other than myself relates to Shadoe, but the one friend that i have had that knows her next best to me is my cousin and her friend, Kassandra

yes, and she may always be im afraid *ears droop*

a few close friendships, and other than a couple of short lived romantic involvements nothing current

As a child of nature, I would say Earth

that would be a resounding YES

37. Do you write about your character?
it has been quite a long time, but I've begun picking it up again

oh hells yes, for all that she bottles up her emotions most of the time its gonna come uncorked eventually, and look the hell out!

On occasion

Wolves, growing up as one would probably be the catalyst for that

none that she has discussed with me

hmmm... I'll have to ask, again she kind of keeps that to herself

her brother

yes she loves it!

all kinds but is drawn to the haunting melodies of the violin

Nope like any good hunter she is extremely patient

secretly she gets all mushy over baby animals and even coos to them

oh yes from frustration, anger etc. but not overly so
