I've had a few people message me on different sites asking about commissions. Having been in my job for a month now, and with a big project for JessieNigri, I doubt I will be taking new commissions for the next few months. Any updates will be posted here. I appreciate people asking, but unfortunately now I'm a bit swamped with things.

Important Announcement - Commissions

I have an important announcement to make, and its regarding something that has been on my mind for quite a while now. Last week, between the two conventions I've been prepping for, I took in my last batch of commissions and closed my commission form. I've been amazed to have so many people approaching me during what is usually such a quiet commission season (especially after the holidays). I'll be working through these commissions over the next couple of months, though one of them looks like it might take a little longer.
After that its very likely that I won't be taking on many commissions as I will be going back to full time work again with art being on the side-lines. This wasn't an easy decision for me, and talking to other artists I know quite a few who are going back into full time employment to cover costs, but there's been a lot going on in my life that has made me seek a more stable income. I am about to lose a crucial safety-net in my life, and I need to become more independent. It's really stressed me out, and I didn't act it would most likely lead to my work stagnating. Now that I have this new job coming up I might be able to move forward with my life and preserve my joy for creating work.
With that being said, while I'm going to be less reliant on commissions I am not entirely giving up on TF art or my Patreon. I still enjoy doing it to some degree, and having the extra support from Patrons is also welcome. It's inevitable that there will be a reduction in the number of art updates on here, but I will see about keeping sketch rewards and even projects like Art Revival going. I also hope that being less reliant on commissions will give me more time to work on my own projects, especially my Phantomfield comics. I see a great opportunity to develop this side of the business.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me with commissions these past few years. It's been wonderful to experience full time art work and live that dream for a bit. I'm hoping that there will be a time in the future I can do it again, especially if my Phantomfield series really takes off. In the meantime, please look forward to more of my art, and I hope you guys will continue to support my work in the future, whether its TF or otherwise.

Firstly I want to wish all my watchers on here a Happy New Year. I echo a lot of people when I say that 2024 went by very quickly, and if doesn't feel too long ago that I was out in India. It was definitely a year of ups and downs for me, and I won't go too much into the details why. All I will say is that I'm expecting more of the same over the next few months, especially with conventions starting up again.
Sometimes I am tempted to do one of these year in review memes, though I never find a template in time, and sometimes I feel like I don't have anything uploaded on some months. I guess this year that hasn't been true, as I have managed to keep this gallery regularly uploaded, so that feels like a step forward. I also looked back on some old art from 5 years ago, and for the first time I could really feel like I have improved. If this is the effect of working full time on art then I have no regrets about these past few years.
I have plenty more TF art incoming, but I am also going to be looking at expanding my business further with the non-tf, especially where Shabbits are concerned. I am even thinking about buying some advertising space on this website from them, I just need to make some banners and maybe learn a bit of animation. Speaking of shabbits, I still have plenty of them for sale and I would definitely appreciate having some more orders on my Etsy store

But I'm happy to announce I will be sharing the remaining 18 parts starting today! I needed a journal refresh, especially now that my current batch of commissions is now complete. I currently have several slots open and I am keen to get them filled quickly as the end of this month is going to get quite busy, with a big convention up in Scotland.
I've had a lot of things going on IRL, many of which has made my art slow down a fair bit and possibly consider my future with art. It's been a bit of a difficult time, and I'm trying to find a way to move forward, especially with my business. I have a bunch of brand new items in my Etsy Store, and I want to expand it furthr so please check it out, including my very soft, cuddly marketable plushie that's currently in a limited release. Every sale helps support my work and I appreciate getting more sales on there!

Heyo! Since my last update it's been a busy but fairly productive time, as I get closer to convention season and produce new material. Anyone who follows my non-tf stuff will be excited to hear that I have some new merchandise and I'm gonna be working super hard to promote it.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has been commissioning me since my last journal. I was really touched that so many people reached out to commission me and it really helped me get out of a sticky hole. Right now I'm trying to save up all the money I can so that I can move forward not only with my business but also my life, hopefully to get a place of my own so that I can expand and really grow.
With that said, I want to let you know that next week Saturday 15th June I will be opening commissions once again, and I'll be taking in your orders through my commission form. I know quite a few people have expressed an interest, and it will still be four slots with the potential of a waiting list too. The form will probably remain open beyond the weekend, so that anyone who misses the chance can still get things in there. I am keen to build up a batch of commissions, especially as I am getting close to the end of my current set.
If you have any questions about the commissions I take, or an idea you have let me know. Please know that for comic commissions I expect a rough script at least to work from.

Just a little journal as I'm getting through commissions and taking new ones on with my commission form still open to anyone who is interested. In truth after being away for much of last couple months, I have been desperate to get more money in and recoup costs. In the past couple of days my watcher count went over 5000. That's quite a milestone, though much like with the faves, I can imagine that we've had new influxes of people joining the site since I first started posting art in 2014. For those who have stuck with me all these years, I am glad to have you around and I hope you still like what I'm producing these days, as it has changed over the years. For my more recent watchers, thank you and I hope you enjoy what comes next!
The other reason I have posted a new journal is because I'm about to go away for a short break and convention, but I still have a couple of slots available. Rather than close my forms and reopen them when I get back I'll instead keep my form open in case people want to submit a commission on there. I won't be able to respond to them until next week, but if I do end up with more form submissions than slots then I can always add people to a waiting list. A Question about commissions

So my commission form deadline has just finished, but I've kept the form open for now simly because I only had one submission appear this weekend. This is not the first time either, and it has gotten me thinking about how I run commissions. I recently read someone else's journal where they asked whether its better to open slots or just keep them open all the time with waiting lists etc. This made me wonder what you guys would prefer here? I know there were a few people who wanted to commission me during my busiest times when I couldn't take any more work on, but now things are strangely quiet here on FA.

So my commission form deadline has just finished, but I've kept the form open for now simly because I only had one submission appear this weekend. This is not the first time either, and it has gotten me thinking about how I run commissions. I recently read someone else's journal where they asked whether its better to open slots or just keep them open all the time with waiting lists etc. This made me wonder what you guys would prefer here? I know there were a few people who wanted to commission me during my busiest times when I couldn't take any more work on, but now things are strangely quiet here on FA.

A couple of messages! First and foremost the new manga Visions of the Phantomfield is now available as a physical comic on Etsy! This comic has been my big project for a long while, set in a world of dreams and featuring many of my OCs plus some fantastical creatures in an original story. I'm really excited to share this story as I have plans to make it the first in a big series and the print quality has been fantastic You can find it here: https://tinyurl.com/44admh2b
My second important bit of info is that I'm coming to the end of my current batch of commissions which means I'll be opening the commission form again this coming Saturday! This should give people a bit of time to get stuff together and ofc ask any important questions. I hope there will be some interest and look forward to seeing what people submit this time!

We're about to start a new month and I'm opening the commission form once more to accept new commissions in a 48 hour window to see how many people are interested in getting one now that we have had payday. Admittedly I've still got two commissions that I'm working on currently, but I have a feeling that they will be done by the time this window has closed. It's been an expensive time, plus at the end of this month I will be away on convention business which is why I would like to get commissions in early.
I'll be taking commissions of all formats including comics, and if you do submit a comic idea I heavily recommend that you have at least got a script. Fully formed ideas with good refs are my preference for commissions. It also helps me when it come to quoting a price for your commission.

Commissions Opening Again Next Week!
