Here's the current commission list, Just to keep track of them and to not forgetting anything. They're still open btw, if any questions, just ask away!

Posted 10 years agoHeya guys. It's been awhile since I've updated. I have been -kind of- offline lately, not wanting to checking or replying messages, commenting on others art or chatting either. Beeing isolating myself for awhile.
I haven't felt like drawing lately either and I believe it's because of the winter season here. It has been cold, like really cold, at the point that hurts me so I haven't had strength to sit in the computer and do things digitally plus the notorious lack of light. If I don't draw I feel bad so this is why I haven't done anything lately, plus I'm at that stage where my art feels terrible done, I think everyone went for the same stage over and over in their lifes. So I just spend time on Pinterest practicing things and trying to improve my anatomy skills, etc, at least.
I hope this goes away soon though.
SO in other news got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, one of the latest models I think?? pretty cheap if I say, cheapest than Galaxy Tab 3 and less heavy. I liked the new screen definition and the Android updates and I finally finally get to test FA on mobile! I really like checking messages here! C: Love seeing what ppl do with their arts and whatnot. FA works pretty well but I think it can improve, some things are difficult to click on and some letters looks a bit small. Would be better to have symbols like DA mobile instead of texts I think, but it's my point of view. XD (btw DA app sucks, it crashes everytime even with my RAM memory empty, I preffer the one from the browser to be honest). But I liked it overall and I hope they keep developing it, maybe make an FA app someday?? :'D
Soo that's pretty much it for now... apologizes for not sketching your comms people!! I won't forget all of you I promise. I'll probably closing commissions soon for now, dunno yet. See you all laters and please take care of yourselves!

While I was streaming I got the idea that I could be taking comic page commissions because it'll be a good practice for me (I love doing comics, even tho they're such a hard work), I was thinking $100 as a price (since they're many pics in a page) to $150 depending if it's too complicated, but remembering that their description should be simple (actions and dialog, no reasons to be explained) since english isn't my first language. If anyone's agreed with this, I could start taking my first comic page commission, lemme know! Thanks everyone for reading!

Volcanic ashes, FA's sidebar, MLP, etc, boring stuff
Posted 10 years agoAs you might know, I live in Argentina, if you heard what happened in Chile last time you might know that the volcanic ashes get in there too, got my eyes burning for a couple of days and they're still burning @_@ but thankfully everything should be get to normal soon. I can still keep drawing and I have a couple of projects that I'll to do for the future, can't announce anything now but we'll see!
FA sidebar thing, don't like it, I wanna see my shet in fullsize, going to test the beta again (had to stop since I couldn't edit what I post).
MLP season 5, pretty crazy but good so far, EQ girls, ew no plz, it's horrible. Do not want.
Saw the Avengers Age of Ultron (it gets on USA in May possibly with some extras, get ready!!) pretty godamn superhero movie, I have my pet peeves BUT I don't want to spoil you all, so I'll reserve them for now.
Got two monitors desktop, love it, this way I'm drawing more, so much more, everything gets easier.

stomach sickness again
Posted 10 years agoGod, this must be the year of the stomach sickness... it's the 3rd or 4th I'm having this actually, and it's not like I'm not taking care of myself actually, all the contrary, but it keeps happening for a reason or another.
It started Saturday when I felt asleep, I was rly tired. When I woke from a nightmare I felt like my body was shaking, I took my usual meds and starting to feel panic attacks plus stomachaches and whatnot. Had to use the bathroom several times until I felt tired and I sleep, it passed away thankfully, it might not lasted too long but the symptoms aren't a thing I'd wish to anyone, EVER, it was painful.
It's been... 2 days?? I'm trying to recover and start eating again even though I'm not hungry yet. I believe it was an stomach infection and it should have been away that night already, but for some reason I feel tired, like I need to rest and stuff... hopefully will be back with the arting again... gotta need to practice again and again. Thanks for the patience everyone! Laters!

REF SHEETS COMMISSION TIER CLOSED

Guys... I'm going to be honest here, if there's a work I can't do I'll let you all know. Doing this kind of tier requires hard work from me and from the customers and I'm mostly getting things wrong 90% of the time wich requires many fixes and it's mostly my patience who's not able to do such work right now (I'm also not good at reading extremely long descriptions). Plus people rarely notice how much it takes so I won't be doing them for now.
Thanks for understanding and apologizes about this issue. I hate to be doing this but it's the best for my health and for us. I'll update the commission info soon.

Comic proyects and stuff (boring talk)
Posted 10 years agoHey there, I'm dead!! eer I mean I'm alive... sort of... ha!
Some ppl have been asking me if the characters of my first gay comic (A Good recovery) will return, the answer is YES, they will! sooner or later they will.
I have been planning another comic for them trying to include more sexy parts and possibly other comics including my characters (not only gay). To be completely honest I like doing comics a lot since I was younger, don't care if NSFW or SFW, problem is that doing them takes a lot of time and work. I was thinking about using a support system with donations for it... I doubt anyone will donate since no one had done it last time (someone only donate $30 wich is too much for a donation! but he was the only person who did it) and people use Patreon a lot... A LOT... looks like it's the new fashion going everywhere. Here's the deal of why I still would like to do comics:
-Doing comics is extremely fun as you draw a lot.
-Drawing a lot helps me to improve my art.
-I'd like to tell stories even if simple ones.
-Once the comic is planned you don't have to think a lot, you just do the things and that's done.
(for the english issues I was thinking of consulting it to a friend since she agreed to help... or maybe look out for someone else who can help me with my broken english... that wouldn't be a problem for me personally!)
I don't like the idea of using Patreon because people can unsubscribe and you loose the money :/ with a little donations, even just $1 it'll help me a lot to moving forward and keep doing this! maybe I could do a PWYW option but I just can't think on any system right now... I really wish there is a way! I'm open to suggestions. Oh, and also, posting free comics for everyone, I don't like the idea of using paywalls either.

fire in the neighborhood
Posted 10 years agoYesterday there was fire in a building close to my house, I was in my room using my tab when Steel and I heard someone screaming for help. When we checked up we run to my house calling the 911, thank goodness the fireguards went in quickly, the smell was terrible and everyone were running and watching what the hell was going, but we thought it was done since the fireguards took care of it.
The next day we received the newspaper saying that the girl who was inside the building is in the hospital with severe wounds from the fire, two guys at the next door rescued her, they were doctors. Nobody could determinate were the fire began.
I still have those voices in my head and I'm imagining all the situation and how severe it was... I have some sort of trauma right now... please, please always call 911 if something happens, they'll come quickly, you'll never know when these things happens... just do it, okay??

In other news I've been having strong stomachaches since yesterday, possibly because I ate a lot, so no cake for me for now. Well, nothing bad with celebrating chillaxing and stuff!
If I'm not answering notes right now it's because of these stomachaches, hopefully I'll be back soon once they're gone, thank God I didn't vomited or anything like that atm (whew!). Later peeps!

Advice for artists (readd!! worth it)
Posted 11 years agoHeya guys!! Sorry that I took so long on answering notes and whatnot, I took a week of absence, but I'm getting here! I've completed a commission recently and I'm going for more! here's something I'd like to share with you guys!
My good friend Memokkeen wrote this, I think it's worth to read! Specially if you had been down with your art, I wish I would had something like this in the past! :D
"I'll never be as good as X artist is"
"I wish I was more popular. What should I draw to get more popular?"
"I've only ever drawn X, and if I ever draw anything else, no one cares"
"It doesn't matter if I draw, because nobody watches me anyway"
"I never get faves or comments. Nobody likes my art"
"Why bother, when I get nothing like X popular artist does?"
I'm sure everyone has seen and most likely said something like this, more often than not, to friends privately or publicly complaining on blogs, journals, other artist's streams... I see these kinds of comments all the time everywhere.
And quite honestly, it bothers me. It bothers me to no end. So I'm going to try and tell you why it bothers me, and how can I help you to help yourself be a better artist, be more creative, liked, and overall just happier.
The problem is, you're looking outside, not in. You're not supposed to be a copy or just like any of the amazing artists you adore. Nobody cares for an exact copy of something amazing - it makes the original look less unique, and you as the copy will always be shrugged off as "well they're nothing but X's shadow".
Who wants that? Don't you want to be unique, be YOU?
... Don't you want to bring something new into this world?
The thing is, you're not supposed to look at all these amazing artists out here not as rivals or competition, or with angry jealousy fired by your despair because you'll never be like them... but as sources of inspiration. Believe it or not, but if one person has been able to do something amazing, like draw an amazing landscape with fluorescent colours... so can someone else. So can you. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow... but if you really want to, and work hard, you will be able to draw that beautiful thing you admire, and much, much more. Talented people aren't out here to outshine you. They aren't here to make you feel small.
They're here to show you that it's possible to become as good as they are, and better.
They're not here to put us into our place, but to inspire us to rise up and shine like they do.
How? I'll tell you how. We all take inspiration from various sources, other artists' works, the world outside, music we hear, the conversations we have, the food we eat... the life we live. Drawing, art, is an expression of ourselves. Those awesome artists you like? They're not drawing because they want to be someone else. They're good and drawing like they do because they express themselves with their art. They try to draw how they feel, how they see the world, the things they enjoy and what they value. You can never draw like them, because you can never read their mind and feel exactly as they do. So stop trying, and look inside.
How do you feel? What do YOU want to express? What's your take on the world around us?
And as a polite side note, if you do draw something in an attempt to mimic an artist you love... credit the artist. There's no shame in being inspired by someone, and if you manage to improve your art by going to a similar direction as some other artist for a time, people will be curious what your inspirations are, how come your style changed suddenly... and the artist who inspired you will be honoured they've helped to nourish your creativity, and happy for being looked up to, and mentioned, so that other people might find them to enjoy their art.
People will not flock to the source of your inspiration and abandon you. They will most likely follow the both of you, and be happy to watch you grow (possibly the artist you admire will be curious to see you progress, as well).
So credit your inspirations. Share the love. Make good feels. Happiness and great art should always be shared. <3
Stop looking at the lack of feedback. Yes, I'm sure we all have felt jealous and like... well, nothing compared to popular artist who get hundreds or favourites and comments. But they're not drawing for the popularity. It's just a side effect of what's really important - and that is doing whatever you want to do. Stop trying to be another artist. Stop chasing after the fame. Be you. Draw what you feel like drawing. That's the secret to being happy, for being always at your best as an artist - when you draw what you want, what makes you happy, the drawings you're proud of. You'll always be great and my hero if you draw the things that make you happy. I don't care about you skill level, but I will always smile and cheer you on and compliment you on your success as an artist when I hear you say "I'm so proud of this drawing, I like how I did X, and X looks a lot better than I usually do!"
Yes! Excellent! That's it! I'm so happy to hear that!! Keep going, I can't wait to see what you do next, even if it was completely different than what you did now!
This is the right way to draw. To be an artist. To be happy. The only worthwhile way of becoming popular, if you do.
Because popularity doesn't matter. It's just a side effect. Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. But you shouldn't care - you WON'T care if you're true to yourself. Positive feedback is always nice, but I've seen many an artist crumble and fall, get artblocks and ultimately vanish... because they sold their soul to popularity.
As an example... Faezza. Everyone knew her as an amazing Sonic fan artist, she had tons of followers, even more comments and favourites... every artist's dream right? To be popular, loved, have a big fanbase, getting all the positive feedback.
I can tell you as her close real life friend, she wasn't. She felt trapped, because all anyone cared about was the Sonic art. If she ever drew anything else, it got minimal to no attention. It's like she was living on her fans' terms, not on her own. Like all she was good for was Sonic art. Like she couldn't draw anything else, yet she (and I) both knew there was so much more to her.
So she left. Or well, she has a new account where she draws anything the hell she pleases, and her works are beautiful as ever, and I follow her because I am more interested in how she draws rather than what she draws. She's happier now than she ever was at her most popular.
And she isn't the only one. It happens all the time - artists who gained popularity by chasing after it realize it tastes like ash in their mouths, and either quit, or start finally doing what they want to do... even if it cost them their popularity, because they know now its value.
Popularity is nothing.
The point of my story is, you CAN become popular by doing a "popular" style of art, or sticking to drawing a certain fandom. Yes, you can.
But if you draw to become popular, if you draw what other people want from you, and not what you want, not what comes from inside your heart and soul... you'll be unhappy. You'll feel like a puppet, you'll feel like your creativity is dead... it won't be worth it. Not on the long run.
So I implore you. Please draw what you love, in ways you want to draw. Forget who is better than you, there always will be someone who is. Forget how popular you are, it doesn't matter at all. Just be yourself and draw what you love.
If you can do that, you've earned my respect as an artist. <3

Stop looking at the lack of feedback. Yes, I'm sure we all have felt jealous and like... well, nothing compared to popular artist who get hundreds or favourites and comments. But they're not drawing for the popularity. It's just a side effect of what's really important - and that is doing whatever you want to do. Stop trying to be another artist. Stop chasing after the fame. Be you. Draw what you feel like drawing. That's the secret to being happy, for being always at your best as an artist - when you draw what you want, what makes you happy, the drawings you're proud of. You'll always be great and my hero if you draw the things that make you happy. I don't care about you skill level, but I will always smile and cheer you on and compliment you on your success as an artist when I hear you say "I'm so proud of this drawing, I like how I did X, and X looks a lot better than I usually do!"
Yes! Excellent! That's it! I'm so happy to hear that!! Keep going, I can't wait to see what you do next, even if it was completely different than what you did now!
This is the right way to draw. To be an artist. To be happy. The only worthwhile way of becoming popular, if you do.
Because popularity doesn't matter. It's just a side effect. Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. But you shouldn't care - you WON'T care if you're true to yourself. Positive feedback is always nice, but I've seen many an artist crumble and fall, get artblocks and ultimately vanish... because they sold their soul to popularity.
As an example... Faezza. Everyone knew her as an amazing Sonic fan artist, she had tons of followers, even more comments and favourites... every artist's dream right? To be popular, loved, have a big fanbase, getting all the positive feedback.
I can tell you as her close real life friend, she wasn't. She felt trapped, because all anyone cared about was the Sonic art. If she ever drew anything else, it got minimal to no attention. It's like she was living on her fans' terms, not on her own. Like all she was good for was Sonic art. Like she couldn't draw anything else, yet she (and I) both knew there was so much more to her.
So she left. Or well, she has a new account where she draws anything the hell she pleases, and her works are beautiful as ever, and I follow her because I am more interested in how she draws rather than what she draws. She's happier now than she ever was at her most popular.
And she isn't the only one. It happens all the time - artists who gained popularity by chasing after it realize it tastes like ash in their mouths, and either quit, or start finally doing what they want to do... even if it cost them their popularity, because they know now its value.
Popularity is nothing.
The point of my story is, you CAN become popular by doing a "popular" style of art, or sticking to drawing a certain fandom. Yes, you can.
But if you draw to become popular, if you draw what other people want from you, and not what you want, not what comes from inside your heart and soul... you'll be unhappy. You'll feel like a puppet, you'll feel like your creativity is dead... it won't be worth it. Not on the long run.
So I implore you. Please draw what you love, in ways you want to draw. Forget who is better than you, there always will be someone who is. Forget how popular you are, it doesn't matter at all. Just be yourself and draw what you love.
If you can do that, you've earned my respect as an artist. <3
ABOUT COMIC COMMISSIONS -info-
Posted 11 years agoA couple of guys asked me if I do comic commissions (thanks so much for your interest!!), here's some things about it, just in case :) :
-It's important to know the script (if you have uploaded it somewhere, better! it doesn't have to be complicated, just imagine writing an RP or something, since english isn't my main language ^^; ) and the characters refs who will be part of it so I know if I can make it.
-Comics takes a huge load of time and work so if I take one it'll be 1 slot per person (and possibly no more than 10 pages, depending of the work, I don't want to end up drawing 30 pages, less than 15 if possible, please). I also like to have time for my own projects too, commissions etc. (my usual colorist is steeltigerwolf he's also busy with some self projects).
-Price will be $50 per page, or $60 depending of how complicated is.
-Progress would be, scripting, thumbnailing, sketching, inking and coloring respectively. (each progress would be all pages once, to make it faster, example: inking all pages once).
-FA notes are a mess, so contact would be via e-mail or e-mail-talk (use it only for comic issues please).
I'm considering open up a slot but before this I want to make sure if I can make the story anyone wants. The fetish I do and I don't are listed in my comms info: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6080973/ , wich they are also OPEN if you're interested on taking a slot, note me with your info!

Fighting against depression -IMPORTANT, READ PLEASE-
Posted 11 years agoSo I have been seeing many people feeling depressed and I feel like I should shout this out. If you're having a friend or someone else you know with depression, please link them here! Because I feeling like explaining some things myself, I hope this can be helpful to everyone, as I have experienced depression myself twice or more in my life. I'm not a doctor but I hope to make a little guide to realize some stuff that you should know about depression, any doubt please PLEASE ask to your doctor and don't be afraid to do so! they might clear any questions for you! and if the first doctor doesn't work, you're in your own rights to go to see another doc for alternative opinions!
First off it's important to understand that depression isn't an emotion, but a disease, and anyone can have it. ANYONE have/had depression at least once in their life, it's something completely normal, and by normal doesn't mean that it's ok, but humans have a tendency to have depression, specially with our current society and lifestyle. Some people have tendency to get more chances to have depressions, some others have less chances. Some people might have some kind of symptoms and others might not realize it, PLEASE READ THIS IT'S SHORT AND EXTREMELY USEFUL: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/depression.html
It's important to accept that you're suffering depression. Accepting it and wanted to be helped it's an important step before making a move. Like I said previously someone might not realize that they're having it at all. Accepting that it's ruining your quality of life, accepting that you have a problem and needs to be solved. Some people don't want to be helped and there's nothing you can do to change them until they do realize it by themselves.
It's important to know WHY do you have depression, and that might not be only for emotional reasons. TEST YOURSELF, you can find any free test on Google to know how much depression you're suffering to guide yourself for approximations. Depression might be caused for a couple of stress hormones that gets increased, but there are several reasons for it, for example: bad lifestyle, stress, not going outside too often, lack of vitamins, other diseases, like hypothyroidism, bipolarity, ETC. GET YOURSELF TESTED BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY.
ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION ARE RELATED and never separated. You can suffer from both things, and it's extremely important to pay attention to both of them.
NOT ALL MEDICINE WILL WORK FOR EVERYONE, not everything is about medicine! Sometimes you'll need something else to overcome it! for example: doing yoga, who have many benefits for both anxiety and depression, but depends how much strength you got to keep up at it! or if it's expensive or not. Keep in mind medicine should not be here forever, it's only a temporary solution.
COUNSELORS MIGHT NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE, therapists might not understand that there's things that you can't really do and might not understand how you feel either. If it doesn't work for you, don't feel guilty, it's something normal, you're free to leave them.
WATCH OUT OVER TRAUMAS, the death of someone related, divorce, getting separated off your couple -in between other things-, happens to everyone and it's a normal reason to get anxiety and depression. For some ppl these things get away quickly, for some don't. So watch carefully over those things and understand what's happening, if you feel like you can't do anymore to overcome it by yourself, go to your doctor for help.
OVERCOMING IT ISN'T IMPOSSIBLE but it takes time, you have to be persistent about it. It's easy to lost any hopes for it, but don't give up, it's a hard and a long way, depression makes seeing everything negative, keeping positive about it and change the way you think it's one of the keys to pass through it, but it depends of each person, and understanding that people didn't never wanted to feel that way. Never press someone with depression, never gave them a lesson, never make them to feel guilty about it, because it only makes things going worse, give these people time and understand that it's not their fault.
DON'T BE ALONE, DON'T KICK PEOPLE OUT OF YOUR LIFE, depression makes people to want to be alone but it's only another symptom that make things worse. Don't hide it for yourself, talking about what bothers you with your relatives is an excellent therapy, some people find that talking about these things only makes them cry. Talk about your problems when you feel like to. Crying and let it go can be both positive and negative, so it depends how do you feel, but never, never be alone, your mind will start to work with lots of negative thoughts and that will increase stress and things will go down for you. Find your way to avoid being alone, find the people who understands you, be honest with people and and tell them that you're not feeling good and if necessary apologize for any bad behavior. Surround yourself with positive things, even mascots can help, anything that makes you happy does!
This is all I can think now, if I find anything else I'll add it right there, I do wish the best for people, it saddens me to see many people feeling like this right now, it sucks and it's extremely shitty, I've had many things going on in the past, so you can ask me how it feels, but I'll keep with my recommendations: seek for help, ok?
