I'm mildly ok with the head...which is all I've drawn so far. The body is probably going to be the issue. Feh.

General | Posted 14 years agoStill working on this recovery thing...now we're down to one dry socket (as I believe I dislodged the protective dressing last night)...I'll get that treated on Monday. For now, the pain pills and ice should keep things at bay.
Just been sitting here looking at art...found a few more people that I'd like to commission. Have to save up for that...gotta see my pretties used in art, or what was the point of adopting/creating them? :D

Dry Sockets
General | Posted 14 years agoUgh. I had to be treated for dry sockets today...the medicine they put in there tastes GREAT. Really. :p
Once it was done and the meds kicked in, though, everything was much better as far as pain goes. I guess I'll go with nasty tastes over extreme pain. >.<

No Subject
General | Posted 14 years agoSo, I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday...all 4, including 2 impacted ones. Ugh. Taking it slow, following the directions...but I'm SOOO craving real food. Taco Bell. Nom. Anyway, while I mend, I'm floating around here...I've found art gives me a pick me up, both with this and other things. I'd really love to commission more...I'm just limited fundwise. All this medical stuff is taking a toll, and I don't make that much to begin with...boo.

01) Are you currently in a serious relationship? No, we dwell in the land of indecision and past baggage.
02) What was your dream growing up? Um, I guess it would've been to work for NASA and go to really awesome schools like M.I.T....and we see where that went. <.<
03) What talent do you wish you had? I wish I had a lot of talents...a better singing voice...super cleaning abilities...superpowers...the ability to be girly...*sigh*
04) If I bought you a drink, what would it be? In a bar or such, probably an Amaretto Sour. In a restaurant, Sangria or a Margarita.
05) Favorite vegetable? Spinach.
06) What was the last book you read? Currently reading Heart's Blood but before that I finished Seer of Sevenwaters. Both are by the awesome Juliet Marillier.

However, since they KNEW that the stars moved thousands of years ago and the WESTERN zodiac is tropical (based on the seasons) instead of sidereal (based on the stars)...I'm still a Cancer, bitches.

I have looked up a bunch of others (Indian, Egyptian)...but I forget what they are right now.
08) Any tattoos and/or piercings? Explain what/where. I have an "industrial" piercing in my right ear (and let me say that I don't care about the associations or whatever of piercings in a certain ear) ... I currently have 2 titanium bright blue rings with cubic zirconia stones; however, a lot of people use the bar for this piercing. I have a custom idea for mine, if I ever get it made - a snake. O.o I also have the regular run of the mill lobe piercings.
I'd like to have my bellybutton pierced, but that's going to have to wait until it would actually work. I have the itch to get another piercing, but I really have no idea what...I won't do eyebrow or lip...I like the nose piercings but then I think of how gross that would get...no nipple or genital piercings. I'm disturbingly attracted to those back piercings that look like laces...but ouch if anyone pulled. I might get some other type of ear piercing or...maybe...a subdermal. O.o
Tattoos...I keep batting about ideas for those...but then I think of myself at 80. One I'm interested in is something dedicated to the memory of Michael Jackson. I've been thinking about it since his death...which in a few months will be 2 years. I've thought of a few other things...if I get anything I want it to mean something. I also have to figure out a place to put it.
