I don't know what I'm doing!
General | Posted 16 years agoAll images I've uploaded recently had strong links to Flash. I either drew them in FL, or colored, or both. Since I was new to FurAffinity, I didn't quite know not to actually choose the Flash option when I uploaded them. So as I checked my images out for inspiration, I noticed they're all squished down to a standard Flash size. Nooo!
I can't find the setting fix that; I think I have to upload everything again. That's too much of a pain, so I'll skip it for now.
But I think I've learned my lesson, and my newest pic, "Strange Thing," is not uploaded with any Flash settings.
Anyway, I hope you like the image. I'm an old-school TTA fan. Fifi was my favorite.

F13th
General | Posted 17 years agoI wanted to write this journal a week or two ago, but, you know how real life gets in the way.
If you're any type of horror movie fan, you know that a new Friday the 13th film has just debuted. Even if you're *not* a big fan (or hate the genre all together!) you probably know that a new F13th movie is out. The films hold a special place in my heart: growing up I was always a big scardey-cat when it came to horror movies. I remember covering my eyes when Jason started to hack people to bits. And then having nightmares for a month. It was so bad, that I'd have nightmares for a week, after merely walking through the horror movie section at the video store!
Anyway, I overcame my fear after many years, and I now enjoy the genre for its various traits.
That being said, I drew my "Night of the Kitty Killer" back in 2006, as an homage. The Kitty Killer looks a tiny bit like Jason Voorhees, and there's a cute, scantily-clad girl about to get the point. har har

I hope you check it out and find it amusing.

100
General | Posted 17 years agoI've reached my first milestone, and gotten 100 page views! Wow, it means a lot to me. Starting the new year off right. :) In 2009 I plan to start creating new works. I'll probably do them in some idiosyncratic way like I did the 2006 pics I've posted recently - I'm obsessive like that. :) I'll probably start off with some tame stuff and go from there.
Once again, thanks to everyone who's fave'd my work, and watched me!

Warm welcome
General | Posted 17 years agoI just want to say thanks to all the people who have been commenting, faving, and watching me and my works. I feel as if I've gotten more feedback in these few short days than in the years I originally published my works! I'm about half-way through reposting the original set of 2006 images, after that I'll be adding brand new stuff.
Which means I have to draw it now. :)

Another bio
General | Posted 17 years agoWhen I started college in 1997 I soon found the amazing world of furry art. After consuming as much as I could for a year or so, I decided to try my hand at it. My favorite cartoon was (and still is) Tiny Toon Adventures. I began drawing Babs Bunny, building my skills. I have always been artistic my whole life, and this was a new and fun thing to do. I spent the next few years creating lots of TTA fan art, and improving my skills.
I had set goals for myself to create something new every month. Many times I could stick to that goal, and other times I couldn't. It seemed that the "couldn'ts" were winning over the "coulds". Eventually, by 2006, I sort of gave it all up. I've since wanted to get back into furry art; I really like it. There are just so many talented and inspirational artists out there that motivate me.
I'm going to start again, after I shake the rust off.
For the moment, please enjoy the most recent works I completed, resurrected from 2006.
