That time of year
General | Posted 12 years agoWell it hits just after midnight and it's that time of year again.... I'm getting older, but not in a bad way.
This puppy is now 27, which gives me 5 years of bliss with my husband
. Not much to say at this stage, haven't gotten anything but that's cause it's only been a minute or so into the day :P Will maybe edit this later with what happened or just make a new journal.
Looking forward to a year of hardship and awesomeness, with moving house next year sometime, seeing friends i've been meaning to for a while, seeing friends i haven't seen in years and just getting away form everything again.
So once again, i'm closer to the grey muzzle club ;)

Saw that and my response was... WTF????? What the hell have i done?
I've commissioned her a few times, spoken to her on several occasions and been friendly, never been pushy even when it has taken her 12 months to get back to me about the commission she's doing... and now this.... so much for being friends..... As much as i want to remove her artwork from my gallery, it's the only pictorial ref's i have of my character.....
Just feel...... betrayed seems to be the only word that can fit in there......

Just wanted to let you all know what's been happening to me lately.
Found out that on friday morning, 11:30am ACDT, my grandfather passed away. HAve spent since then organizing a way to get back for the funeral and stuff
I've had some awesome friends helping me through this.....
- my wonderful mate, being there beside me to help out when i need it
- helping me take my mind off things and just being the best company
- For being an awesome friend and spending some time with me
- being my listening wuffie and just a great best friend
- for being there to listen to me and be a supportive friend
Thank you all for what you've done, i'm glad i have you in my life.
Heading back to my hometown of Adelaide, South Australia on Tuesday to be with family and also for the funeral. Will be taking a short time off the nets while this happens but i will be back soon enough.

He's a great friend of mine, of about 4 years now.... He needs commissions to pay of debt that's owing due to his life and having a job due to looking for one constantly.
dustwolfe1 has always had it hard in life due to his condition, being thrown in and out of hospital due to Crohns disease http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crohn's_disease
If you could all help and go commission him for a story, he's only selling them for $5 each, which is damn cheap, and i think he should be selling them for more..... My recommendation is to pay him at least $10....

Well life is great as usual [/sarcasm].......
Had the shitest week ever this week, Car troubles, people leaving, working being retarded.....
To fill you all in,
left for Adelaide on Tuesday, after spending almost a week with me after he moved out of his place, was sad to have him leave because he's been my closest friend over in Perth. He moved over here earlier this year and due to personal issues had to move back... My car shat me off taking him to the airport, it stalled at 80 kmph and above for no reason at all. I mean it was close to having a service anyway. In total it stalled about 6 times, and once on Sunday when I was with a friend. So I kind of sorted that out Tuesday. I called a mechanic and had it booked in for today. Got up early to drop it off after getting frustrated at my housemate for not telling me everything and not being able to take me from the mechanic to the train station. He has been kind enough to pick me up which I am grateful for because I really don't wanna catch a bus again. Anyway, since Tuesday work has just been getting worse and worse. One of the fibre cables to our call centre in Cape Town went down and so we have a mass of calls flooding in. This isn't too bad at night because people stop calling but during the day its back to back calls and it gets annoying after a while.
Anyway more on about my job.... At the end of August I put in an application for a promotion to Senior Customer Service Representative. I had my interview early September, which I passed. Then came some of the harder stuff, I had to sit an assessment to make sure I had the knowledge to do the job. I passed that also, I then had to sit a Psychometric test to see if I had the ability to handle the role. I sat this about 3 to 3.5 weeks ago... The had a delay form people who were on leave during the assessment and psych testing, because they had to let them sit the test too. So this took them an extra week to get it all done. So I have been stressing about this for the past 2 weeks. On Monday I got contacted by one of the HR Girls... Now I shat myself because I didn't know what was going to happen.... I called her up from my phone at my desk and had a quick chat, she then told me the reason for contacting me....... I GOT THE JOB.... I’ve now been promoted form normal CSR to a Senior within my first year in the company. SO this new role starts as of next week so I have to put up with my old job until then, which isn't so bad.
So that was my only good news for the month so far, the rest has been bad and shit. Work seems to take up a lot of my time as well as my spare time because I’m so tired when I finish. I haven’t been out properly for a long time because I have so much work to get done. It's not like I take work home with me on the weekend, it's just I think about it too much.
Now back to my car, this got serviced today, and the mechanic told me not to worry about paying till they figure out the issue with it stalling. There are also a few minor details that need fixing but that will come in time. SO now I have a long weekend to check on this and make sure it doesn't stall and if it does I have to take it back next week so they can check the error in the main computer of the computer. SO we'll have to see what’s going on there.....
But prior to all this, things in my life have been pretty normal for me, working and all. I have had little time to myself so I’ve had to make time for myself and tell friends that I can't come and see them. Have organised that next year and I will head back to South Australia for a visit to friends and family, so for all of you that talk to me I will still be on my IM's just not as responsive due to seeing people that I haven't seen for almost a year now.
Well this kinda ends my rant and ramble and whatever else this was....

Moving

Last friday i signed a new lease for a new place with my housemate. We're getting out of this place because of issues with the landlord in my previous journals [My week so far] and as such, he offered us an early termination without any extra fees. So we found a new place, that's awesome, signed the lease and have started moving things over. So as of tonight my main computer will be packed up and i will be using my laptop instead just to limit time this weekend when we move the rest of th stuff over. I should also mention that atm we have no net because of the process of relocating it :P
I screwed up and got our net cut off too soon, but meh. I've been using a 3 dongle and the rest of them have been using their iPhones tethered to the computer. So yeah we're moving this weekend to a bigger and better place... a place that doesn't have ADSL 1 but ADSL 2+.... So I'm incredibly happy about that.... SO yeah for those of you wondering why i haven't been online for the past few days... that's why... Sorry i didn't say anything sooner, just been meh when i get home from work. So i'll post a new journal when i do get to the new place and we have nets back. Should be awesome because we have a lot more room at the new place too.

My week so far
General | Posted 14 years agoWell things where going great... My boyfriend, , had his parents come over for something and we met up. Everything was great, free food Friday night, Saturday and Sunday night... We got to see them after so long and just hang out and have them actually accept me more.... Things started to change Saturday that would ruin a lot of things.....
Spent the day Saturday with my mother-in-law and boyfriend, shopping and just spending time. Went to a few places and just had a good time. Come 5p we headed back to the hotel they where staying at and stayed for a bit to catch up with his father. Had a good time talking and just relaxing. We decided to go out with them for dinner, to Subway.... After leaving the hotel room, i got a phone call form my house mate, Sakura...... He'd just gotten home with his boyfriend after helping some friends move house. He got home to the house locked up tight, but inside everything was pulled out and gone through..... We'd been broken into... He called the police and lodged everything with them. We left to come straight home. Our bed was covered with stuff and we found that not a lot of our stuff had been taken. Only to say, after a final count it's hit $10279 worth of stuff was taken. Of course the police forensics couldn't come out sat night, they could only come Sunday. Dustin and i spent the night on our spare bed so that we could preserve everything for the cops.... Cops found nothing really besides a few finger prints.
The worst part about all this is we have an alarm system but our landlord and property manager have been unwilling to fix it at all... So after taking Monday off work to sort things out, we got a copy of the initial application which shows they where going to fix it as well as the landlord coming this weekend to fix it... We're also taking the real estate agent to court over negligence...
So yeah it's been and interesting 4 days but we'll see how things go.......
and to plug this again.... We need to make up for what was stolen... So my house mate is taking commissions and donations.....

Leave of absence

Just to let all of you know, i will be having a leave of absence for about a week from 2nd April to the 11th of April as i will be flying home to see family, friends and furs in South Australia.
I finally got the time off work for it and am looking forward to going back. Although the flights did cost me $478 AUD which is a lot cheaper than the original $676 that i first saw....
So i'll be on leave from FA in the time, although i will be on my mobile/cell (iPhone) so that if anyone wants to text me they can, and i may decide to get on MSN there once in a while :P

and i just had our 3 year anniversary!!!!!!
Which is hard to believe.. i kinda didn't realize it till... i read it on facebook that it was today.. I mean that sounds bad..... BUT AT LEAST I REMEMBERED!!!!!
Dustin and i have been through a lot in these past 3 years.... From trying to spend time, and keeping our relationship a secret form both our parents.... To me trying to be accepted by his family (They do now), To living together and not killing each other. To not being trusted due to some events that happened, to telling my parents and having to try and not kill ourselves case they want to make him completely part of the family :P
And our final thing for us up until now was moving from Adelaide, South Australia to Perth, Western Australia. It took us 4 days of only having each other and we didn't go crazy or want to kill each other.... It only made me love him more as much as that sounds sappy.....
I love with all that i am, can and will be... and i'm glad he said yes 2 years ago when i got down on one knee and pulled out a ring....
Looking at him now, across the table form me i don't regret anything in the past between us and i'm glad i met him at the fur meet 3 years ago back in Adelaide, and that i was talking to him that night when we both decided to be mates.... Just goes to show that sometimes that love at first sight does happen. I don't regret that decision and i don't what to change it for the world.....
Dustin, Sweetie, my hubby, my love and live... Here's to many more enjoyable years to come, with you always in my arms and heart.

I GOT MY FREAKING JOB!!!!!!!
I'll be starting monday at 8:30am till 5pm working for iinet in Australia (for you Americans watching me)
I'll be earning about $37K AUD a year plus super.... Which equates to about $1,000 a fortnight ^_^
It's awesome cause i went for the interview this morning at 10 am, got a phone call about 1 to say i'd passed the interview, then had to do online testing, completed that about 3:50pm and got a phone call back at 4:30pm to say i got the job.
GOd i'm so happy.... Means i'll be having money now....

ANOTHER UPDATE THINGY.... and the cake is a lie...
General | Posted 15 years agoWell sorry this is a lil late, but we make it to Perth on the 12th October, seeing as it's now the 23rd, i thought it was about time that i put in something to let you all know... WE MADE IT FINE... and sooner than we expected too, by a day.
Was a really uneventful trip for me only cause i was doing all the driving, but this is how the trip went...
Day 1:
We left later than expected because... I suck at tetris and couldn't fit everything in the car that we wanted to. So we had to leave like... a car loads worth of stuff behind... But we eventually got on the road about 11:30 which was about an hour later than i wanted... Our first stop was at Dustins grandparents place where we said goodbye. His grandfather started to cry and i felt bad because i had no clue what to do. His grandmother was good though and spoke to me and asked me to take care of him etc... She also told me to take the enevelope she'd given Dustin and hold onto it, because it contained money, an amount which i won't say, but it was enough to shock me. Dustins mum was there too and we hugged and she cried and we comforted. After there it was on to his Aunts place to say goodbye. So after about 20 minutes there we left the metro area for the country and where i grew up. We stopped itno my parents place for lunch and caught up with friends of theirs as well as my aunty. We emptied a few things out the car, repacked and then we headed off for our first stop at Whyalla, SA.....
Day 2:
We left Whyalla about 10am on the sunday which was good because we got to Ceduna about 6 pm. Not a lot happened that day, stopped at a few places for stretching etc, but nothing really fantastic. I also seemed to notice on this day that i kind of still had the house keys to the place we left behind.... Was rather bad of me, but we posted them off the next ay.
Day 3:
This day was the day we got to cross the Nullabor... Which wasn't as bad as i thought it ouwld be... I was only going about... 140Km/h... nothing too bad :p Took us all of about 2 hours to cross it, but yeah, we left about 9:30 ish and by the time we got to Border Village, it wa only 2:30 if i remember correctly. SO once we crossed the border we had gained an extra 2.5 hours. We then did the rest of that day in 2 hours stretches and filled up with petrol (gas) when ever we had a hcance to. We eventually arrived at Norseman about 6 pm, where we stopped for the night. Norseman is about 9 hours form Perth.
Day 4:
We left Norseman about 10ish and travelled to Coolgardi which is near Kalgoorie. We then stopped at Souther Cross for lunch then back on the road. We had a reasonable drive and nothing major happened besides getting stuck behind some mine vehicles which take up the entire freaking road. We got into our new place about 6 pm WA Time and we got the car unpacked and settled in.
Well thats all i ahve to say for now, i know there is spelling mistakes etc but i can't be bothered fixing them right now. Love you all and hopeyou missed us while we where gone form FA and i hope all you SA FUrries miss us heaps
Was a really uneventful trip for me only cause i was doing all the driving, but this is how the trip went...
Day 1:
We left later than expected because... I suck at tetris and couldn't fit everything in the car that we wanted to. So we had to leave like... a car loads worth of stuff behind... But we eventually got on the road about 11:30 which was about an hour later than i wanted... Our first stop was at Dustins grandparents place where we said goodbye. His grandfather started to cry and i felt bad because i had no clue what to do. His grandmother was good though and spoke to me and asked me to take care of him etc... She also told me to take the enevelope she'd given Dustin and hold onto it, because it contained money, an amount which i won't say, but it was enough to shock me. Just to let you all know who cares to know, the move is going... well it hasn't started, trying to save money but it's hard when you need stuff like fuel etc...
I finish work in 2 weeks from friday, which will be awesome so i can sleep in for a change. Trying to get stuff packed but without boxes etc it's hard to. But we're slowly cleaning out stuff when can get off his ass and clean the last one out.
So hopefully we can get everything packed in the 2 weeks form when i finish work to when we go, which is looking like either the 8th of October, after the final inspection or the 9th of October after spending the night at my parents place. still got to plan a farewell party which, at the responses on the forums here in South Australia which no one did, there won't be a lot of people there....
