Posted 2 years agoAnd it's spooky month for many. Still have a couple of spots for discounted halloween commission if anybody is interested. Feel free to ask me for more details.
Also this means my birthday is coming up in a few days... which feels more like a disappointment than anything else. Yet still have no confirmation on very important matters that should have been resolved earlier this year. Which is becoming more and more annoying and taking a bit of a toll on my mental health.
Don't think I'll have anything special lined up, but we'll see how things play off.

Healthcare, executive function and commissions.
Posted 2 years agoI dislike that the last batch of commissions took so long to get done, but sadly i've been struggling with some executive functions and yet to find something that works. I hope this time it would be faster and i'm trying my best to get back into a more productive schedule for arting, but life has been complicated and many unexpected changes had occurring during the last few months which makes focusing even harder.
I would take a break of commission if i could, but I have been notified finally of a date for major surgery that will require me to get some amount of funds (and to pay my last month of some debt) So this may or may not be the last time i open commission in a while depending how things go in both ends. I still have a few doctor appointments to get through that are getting most of my attention but hope that after this is finally done i can get maybe in a more consistent schedule.
I probably will have to lose this semester of school due to the bad timing of strikes and healthcare concerns, but after this everything should be smoother sailing for the rest of the year I hope.

Another School Year Begins.
Posted 2 years agoAnd with it I may have less time to dedicate to my art. But hopefully my schedule isn't that bad and should be able to get some stuff done beside school work.
I still feel a bit bummed that all my expectations for this summer break became unfulfilled and that I wasted a lot of the time waiting for something that ultimately got delayed indefinitely while still keeping me on the limbo for any big commitment. At least I could get some commission and other work in, though not much as I would have liked.
I feel like this academic year starts as a huge disappointment and I was really looking forward stuff, but in the end everything got either cancelled, posponed or just overall messed up. We'll see what it brings, but I'm not sure it will be anything interesting in the end. Just another step towards finishing a degree that still makes as much sense as it does not.

Posted 3 years agoI hate to ask.but a combination of high inflation. My mom losing her job and pressing healthcare .matters that put me in a place i can get a proper job until is solved means i m lacking a bit of money.
