ive always been really fascinated by the world of psychiatric drugs. we dont know fuck shit about the brain and can only throw wild guesses out. theres plenty of medications that can significantly ease many psychotic symptoms, but at the cost of emulsifying your internal organs to sludge

the bad news. ive finally been nudged into stage 1 kidney failure by one of my longtime meds

but the good news, this is a pretty well documented risk of this medicine, and when caught in the beginning stages it can be treated by stopping the medication and supportive care. theres some other side effects that ill be freed from finally but the kidney failure is absolutely the most pressing issue Right Now lmao

this isnt my first rodeo with a body that likes to disagree with Everything and self destructs at any mild inconvenience but it never gets any easier i guess. gonna have to find a new antipsychotic now so i dont fucking explode or something

if you have friends/family/etc who are american and at ages to join the military and thinking about joining, please talk to them about not joining. our military has always made its bank by preying on the young and poor people, kids out of high school, promises to give education and healthcare. the job market fucking sucks and its a real temptation for some. your freedom can not come at the cost of destroying innocent peoples lives. you dont matter to the army outside of being meat fodder for the rich. they dont care if you or foreign civilians die as long as their bottom line is met and they get the spoils of war to keep themselves

i dont have super high hopes of trump facing consequences he keeps sliding out of, but you can make a difference in your every day life and try to help others

i have an update on mas cancer situation, its pretty good. in her last pet scan they werent finding much in the way. theyd been giving chemo both by infusion and thru spinal fluid which has been working. theyre going to finish the current course of chemo and see where to go next

hmm thats all. i do not have any updates on My health situation. i am still treading water here. all i can do is wait while they monitor

ok so the current issue is that theyve found an anomaly/mutation in the genes related to platelet disorders and potentially leukemia but theyre not SURE bc the mutation is unlike the usual markers for it. so thats fucking cool

theres decisions to be made about next steps but its very ??????????? either they suck my blood out regularly for a few months of monitoring or i just cut straight to the chase and get a bone marrow biopsy. both have a high chance of being inconclusive bc i guess im just weird


oh and the weird tongue tumor that started all this last year is still here. literally no idea what to do with itself. a freeloader

this is something of a dream ive had for years. i really strongly desire to capture this feeling ive had as a child in the 90s and early 00s, remembering when my dad would build his own computers and getting new video cards. the boxes were garish as fuck, old school 3d renderings of goofy fantasy shit, dragons and robot dinosaurs. that shit Captures me, it always has

i want to recreate these kinds of feelings through that primitive cgi, not new and polished like what you can do with blender. i want the specific limitations of small spaces of data, crunched pixels and unlimited simplicity

inspirations i find are artists like norenxaq here with their gallery (https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/norenxaq/), or old point and click art projects like "the museum of anything goes" and "drowned god", and modern retro indie games like "anatomy" and "discover my body"

that said, i have never been a 3D artist in any sense. the most of my experience was with sculptris and some maya back when i was learning animation, but those didnt really stick for me. im completely lost as to what sort of 3d programs would work well with these ideas, where i should start!
