Both by Infinity Frequencies!
For something much less somber and uncomfortable, and more leaning towards traditional, try Late Night Euphoria EP by Lindsheaven Virtual Plaza https://music.businesscasual.biz/al.....ht-euphoria-ep

Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol. 1 10th Anniversary
General | Posted 5 years agoIt's the tenth anniversary of Oneohtrix Point Never's album, "Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol. 1"! By most definitions, that also makes it vaporwave's 10th anniversary, since the earliest tracks considered to be part of this genre were from this album. Those tracks were uploaded to one of his YouTube channels, sunsetcorp: https://www.youtube.com/user/sunsetcorp

Vaporwave vs. Outrun & Vaporwave vs. Cyberpunk
General | Posted 6 years agoPeople tend to confuse Vaporwave with a LOT of things.
These videos actually help a bit, for those who are new to the genre, or don't understand.

Taking art/music submissions.
General | Posted 6 years agoYou may submit art for me to post to this account and I will do so, with credit and links to your page of course.
Must be vaprowave related in some way. SFW is preferred. Music submissions are also fine but the music must be vaporwave or something within it's various subgenres, and without sung lyrics (samples of songs not withstanding).
It may take a while for me to upload these, but I will.

▣世界から解放され▣ by ░▒▓新しいデラックスライフ▓▒░.
Link: https://internetclub.bandcamp.com/album/-
Genre: Vaporwave
Fuck. Do you like absolute chaos and losing your mind followed by descent into a really dark place? You might like this, Recommended if you're a seasoned vaporwave listener. Although, if you are, you've probably listened to this before. This is very much the essence of vaporwave, but turned up to eleven. Sampling, loops, visuals that go with the music, dark echoed electronic instrumentals that invoke a sense of confusion and wonder. Except it's looped like crazy, and if you don't like repetition (or can't tolerate it for the sake of, well, artsy music) you may not be able to stomach it.
PZA by PZA.
Link: http://music.businesscasual.biz/album/pza-2
Genre: Chillwave, Vaporwave, vaguely Future Funk too?
Don't look at me like that... yeah, I know. The track titles are all memes or meme-like and the album and artist are named after pizza. I promise it's better than it looks. Don't judge it! Very relaxing, but also quite the banger. Nothing profound to say here, it's just good.
MALLSOFT ODYSSEY by Sonnig 991.
Link: http://music.businesscasual.biz/alb.....llsoft-odyssey
Genre: Vaporwave, Chillwave
Very original, and chill. Love laying in bed listening to this, or zoning out to a book while listening to it. Smooth original sound, with some sampling sprinkled in that you may recognize, too! Got a very space-ish theme to it. Also the outtro track name cracks me up. This is a solid recommendation for everyone, seasoned and newbie alike.

News at 11 by 猫 シ Corp.
Link: https://news-at-11.bandcamp.com/album/news-at-11
Genre: Vaporwave
Lets get the obvious out of the way. This album is about 9/11 and features news broadcasts from the day itself. It plays out in almost chronological order, from it just being another chill day to the events unfolding, whilst also acting as though it isn't happening whatsoever. Then slowly taking you into a safe, weather channel induced slumber. Disturbing but oddly cathartic in a way. It's almost bizarrely trying to simulate the events not happening.
Eating Yourself Alive by OSCOB.
Link: https://chamber38.bandcamp.com/albu.....yourself-alive
Genre: Broken Transmission, Noise
Wouldn't be a proper list without a fucking Broken Transmission album would it? I'm sorry. This actually crosses over to the noise category as well. Extremely lo-fi and surreal, and almost scary to listen to. Very much befitting it's name. It sounds like you're trapped in a broken TV whilst also having an absolute mental overload.
Girls on Bikes by OSC.
Link: http://music.businesscasual.biz/alb.....girls-on-bikes
Genre: Future Funk
Upbeat as fuck! Good mood jams, totally makes your day to listen to. This album isn't derivative and there's near no samples in it either. Very much like some happy throwback pop tune.

HIGH-FASHION「犯罪現場 by サンセット Network❾❶」
Link: https://fantasy-deluxe.bandcamp.com/album/--2
Genre: Vaporwave
This one has a very happy pop music vibe, and it's very classic vaporwave. It's got the mood of a happy bubbly fashionista 80s mood and I love it. Very fun and very relaxing. Sometimes movie clips are thrown in too.
Spaceship Earth by Whitewoods
Link: http://music.businesscasual.biz/alb.....paceship-earth
Genre: Future Funk
Upbeat with a disco vibe as is typical of future funk. Very pleasant to listen to, and jam out to. Also got that nice 80s spacey plunderphonics vaporwave sound. Samples a lot of Euro disco. Can't get enough of that honestly. So once again, more classic vaporwave.
一緒に別の夜 by t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者
Link: https://telepathtelepath.bandcamp.com/album/--35
Genre: Mallsoft and Dreampunk
Low fi, lax, and slow. Really nice to relax to, and somewhat romantic in a haunting way.

Recommendations 9/18/2016
General | Posted 9 years agoI haven't been doing well in regards to activity for various reasons so I apologize, hoping that'll change now. Anyway, here are some recommendations! For this post I'm going for a few darker albums. Entirely original tunes that produce that that eerie, vaporwave vibe, with some things that are just a little different for you seasoned vaporwave listeners who like new sound.
新しい日の誕生 by 2814
Link: https://dreamcatalogue.bandcamp.com/album/--18
Genre: Vaporwave
A very lovely album that's at this point a classic. It's vaporwave with a cyberpunk flair. Uneasy, calming, yet fun at once. Couldn't stop listening to this one for a while there. It puts you in the setting of a populated, advanced city at night, with an ethereal feel like much of vaporwave does. Probably the lightest of the three albums listed, it's very easy to get lost in.
I Am Chesumasuta by チェスマスター
Link: https://dreamcatalogue.bandcamp.com.....am-chesumasuta
Genre: Post-Human Vaporwave / Cyberpunk
My favorite of the three, I have a personal emotional attachment to this one and it's theme. It's much less ethereal than most albums, it's actually quite energetic but it occurs in bursts. A lot of harsh synths, gives a very intense cyberpunk vibe. This album gets really intense rather quickly, trying to convey what's most likely an AI struggling with questions of purpose towards it's purpose, emotional attachments, and value as a living being. There's occasional vocals in it, which is may or may not be a turn off for some.
Tokyo Restricted Area by Yoshimi
Link: https://dreamcatalogue.bandcamp.com.....estricted-area
Genre: Hardvapor/Hardvapour
This album is dramatic, dark, and creates a feel of unease. When listened to in the right setting, it can be utterly terrifying in fact. It paints a haunting image of run down dangerous areas of Tokyo. At times the album creates a sensation that you're being followed, or perhaps watched by an unknown entity. It invokes feelings of tragedy and fear. At least it does for me. An absolutely exceptional album.
I predict some of you won't be fond of the last one as much as the others, however I think it's worth sharing because it's very good. This album actually counts as part of a relatively newer subgenre created in late 2015 called hardvapor/hardvapour. A strongly darker, more unsettling variant of vaporwave that some describe as hard to listen to. Some go as far as to say a lot of the creators of it are "edgy" and there's actually a lot of drama in the vaporwave community in regards to hardvapor. However, we're not here to discuss the creators, and it's actually unfair to label everyone who makes music for a particular genre as bad just because of a few obnoxious individuals.
I'll be sure to post some more classic vaporwave later on, I promise the group will be more active and have more stuff done with it.

Reccomendations 5/15/2016
General | Posted 10 years agoWhile I will post what's often commonly thought of as vaporwave (hypnagogic slowed down muzak samples and 80s songs like Floral Shoppe etc), do keep in mind that vaporwave/vapor is a blanket term for many subgenres before prodding that something isn't "really" vaporwave. There's talk of people calling the entire cluster of music like this "vapor", I have no opinion on that, might keep the genre's technicalities organized. Anyway, enjoy! If you want, you can also reccommend albums through notes. Will post more about that later.
DREAM SEQUINS by NMESH.
Link: https://nmesh.bandcamp.com/album/dr.....equins-amdiscs
Genre: Broken Transmission
I absolutely love Broken Transmission as a genre (it just really syncs well with me) but I'll try not to overpost it out of my own personal bias. Full of commercial and radio samples (among others), this album is eerie and has some hypnosis and transhumanistic themes. It's fun.
安全出口EXIT空间和时间 by Chungking Mansions
Link: https://dreamcatalogue.bandcamp.com/album/exit
Genre: Dreampunk
Extremely ethereal, with a creepy space vibe. Really nice to relax to, while still allowing you to focus. Great music for while drawing to. There's light samples some 80s lo fi stuff that are just obscure enough that you won't recognize them and it's fucking awesome.
Atmospheres 第1 by Eco Virtual
Link: https://ecovirtual.bandcamp.com/alb...../atmospheres-1
Genre: Vaporwave
Closer to classical vaporwave with it's few little smooth jazz samples, and is highly inspired by weather channel music, with some weathery sounds too. Very lax. Total vaporwave heaven.
