I have made my way through my old commission queue!
The last piece is waiting on delivery, but it's built and done, so I'm happy.

Moving forward I'm going to be drastically changing how I structure doing commission work. I learned I really need to not take on a lot at once. So going forward I will only be doing ONE project at a time. With possibly some small requests on the side to fill work time gaps.

this way I can keep working away and take breaks when I need to and not have things back up on me. Thank you to everyone who did commission me and were all extremely patient with me.

I'll probably try and post some pics of things in the near future and start updating my page again.

I'm also looking at selling off a bunch of my fur stock pile soon. Its kind of overflowing and I need to make some space!

Hi Everyone!

So I have not been posting much recently and several people have asked me about commissions lately. Rather then explain it ten times, I figured this might be more efficient.

First off, I've stopped taking on new work for the time being. I've got enough to keep me busy for a good while and I have several personal projects I would like to get to as well. If things change I will let you all know and reopen my quote request form.

Second, I have every intention of delivering on everything that I've agreed on with people, this includes three full suits, three bodysuits and a few other things. So yeah, a good chunk of work for a part time maker like myself.

Third and most important, the reason why things have been delayed lately. I've started a new career. Previously I worked in computers and now I've changed and gone into a skilled trade. The work is very physical, something I'm not used to and it takes a lot out of me. Because of this I've not been spending as much time on fursuit making and its pushing things back. So I apologize for delays in getting things done. I hope everyone will understand why it is taking longer then I expected.
My new job is kind of weather dependent so I may find myself with a lot of extras days once the snow starts flying, if that happens I will do my best to get back on track. In the meantime, finishing commissions is paramount on my mind and I'm doing all I can to get things done.

If I've missed replaying to anyone its probably because I've been very tired or very busy or likely both, and it fell into the background, Please message me again if that's the case and I will do my best to reply asap.

Ok, maybe a bit last minute, but wondering how many of my past customers would be able to meet up for a photoshoot at FE again this year?

Haven't picked a day or time so far, so please comment below if you could come and any suggestions on day and time for it!

I'm not usually one to vent onto the internet like this, but I'm sitting here tonight with a lot on my mind.

Depending on what I hear back from someone tomorrow I am going to be standing at a major crossroads in my life and I'm not sure what I should do. I do know I need to make a change. I'm not very happy with my job and my career, but making the change I'm thinking of would mean leaving a well paying job, possibly prematurely, to start from scratch. Its exciting in that I may have finally found a career I'd be happy doing for the rest of my life but at the same time extremely scary. Its uncertain if I really will like the new job I'm looking at and I won't know for sure unless I try.

Anyway, some heavy thoughts on my mind tonight, I don't know what I will be doing in the next few days, but the next little while is going to be a big weight on my mind.

Sorry to have bothered anyone, I don't like posting this stuff, but I feel I need to speak out tonight.

I will say I am planning to continue fursuit commissions, I like doing that too much to give it up just yet. Heck I would do that full time if I could get enough work.

As for FE,

I will be setting up a couple tables to try and interest some furries in starting up Warmachine and Hordes. There's a few of us in the local community that play so this is an experiment to try and find more. If you're curious the games are a tabletop war game mostly involving big stompy steam powered robots and giant raging beasts beating each other up. So if that holds any interest for you, come stop by between 5-7pm on friday in the zoo. If you're already a player, bring your army and we can have a game.

Valrus the tiger family photoshoot!

Ok, I would really like to do a quick photoshoot with every one of my customer's who is coming to FE. Fullsuits especially, but I would welcome anyone who's commissioned me to date.

I am going to try for 12:00pm on Saturday, I think thats the best time so people arn't running around between events.
When: 12:00pm Saturday, March 14th.
What: Valrus customer photoshoot
Where: Meet in the sitting area by the hotel lobby, where the fireplace is.

I would also like to get an "official" photographer for this. So looking for someone, with a DSLR preferably, who wouldn't mind taking some pictures. Please note me if you can do this.

Alright, so I think I may actually have enough people out there that organizing a photo shoot for all my suiters at FE could be a thing.

Who would be interested? Which day should we do it?

I could also use someone with a good camera to be photographer, could probably toss a little compensation your way for it.

So in the morning I am driving down to Rhode Island for Templecon. Won't be back until the 10th!

So I've been at this whole furry and fursuit making thing for a fair bit of time now, over two years now, wow. This whole time its been a hobby for me and I work in my spare time. I work a full time job and have a couple other hobbies as well.

That being said I think I've improved a good bit over these last couple years, I've made several full suits and more parts then I ever thought I would when I started doing this. I really figured I would just make some for myself, but I'm glad I tried making stuff for others. It has been very great to make stuff for other people. So a big thank you to everyone who has commissioned me to date, you've made my time in the fandom a lot better.

That being said I now have to decide on thing moving forward. I feel I still have a lot to improve on and I don't expect to make this a full time gig, not anytime soon, perhaps not ever. That would be awesome, but I'm being realistic.
One thing for sure is my costs have gone up. The problem with doing this stuff in Canada is fur isn't readily available here and I have to buy it from the States, and with the dollar declining I need to reflect this. Not to mention things like my cheap source of foam closing down and using better materials in various places. So I've taken down my prices and will be revising them to reflect all these factors.

So while I figure things out, I'm still taking requests, but prices are a little up in the air right now.

Ok, figured I should get rid of that last journal. I've been back for like a month...

Finished up a few projects that I will be posting up soon. Other then that I will be working on a fox fullsuit next, whoohoo!

I will also be helping out at the FE Christmas meet on the 13th. I hope you're all coming. I'll primarily be running the Secret Santa event, so make sure to bring a gift to put in for that!

Just a little update, its been a while since my last journal.

I am working away on fursuit commission stuff and just so anyone else knows I am pretty much booked up for the next few months. If you want something it will probably be Dec-Jan before its completed. I don't give hard deadlines though. I am still doing quotes however, just keep the time frame in mind. If you want something for Hallowe'en it's not going to come from me, sorry.

What a great time. I figured this would be an experience I would like. I love that there are activities going on all the time. I love that you can get to know people there so much easier. I also found out exactly how out of shape I am ha ha ha. Need to get back into martial arts, seriously.

Cabin eleven, you were all amazing people. You all made my weekend what it was. Everyone else at camp, thank you as well for being great folks.

I had a rough Sunday morning, but that was mostly my own fault :-P It was still nice to simply sit outside and read a book and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was great to get away, take a break and really get to know some people.

I would go back in a heartbeat, when does 2015 reg open?

made it back from Condition Vs. Monsters in London. fortunately the monsters didn't eat me. ;)

This was my first crack at having a dealers table and although I didn't sell a whole lot of stuff I think I did alright, lots of business cards disappeared so I'm hoping I'll be getting some new commission work soon *nudge nudge wink wink*. I think I will put up my leftover stuff for sale on here sometime soon which includes a few tails, handpaws, collars and some fun drawstring bags.

Other then that I suited around the con harassing people at night, drinking in the sponser's lounge and meeting some new people.

 flowkitty also literally dragged me into the dance competition where I made a proper fool of myself once again. Hopefully  ArcticSkyWolf will be able to get some footage up soon 'cause I want to see it. I hope anyone watching got a good laugh at our shenanigans. Congrats to the winners, Clumzy, Red Velvet and Snapback.

Condition was my first real furry con experience and although its always been pretty small I've always had a good time too. It was a great hang out con where you generally ended up meeting people and having a conversation rather then a fleeting meet up in a panel/hallway/dance etc. Its kinda crummy that its now over and done with since there aren't a lot of conventions nearby and my time and funds for such things is limited.

Thank you to all the staff of Condition Furry, I think you all have done a fine job. You all deserve a pat on the back and a big fuzzy hug.

Also paid for my camp feral reg so I'm officially going to that in a couple weeks, should be super fun.

Packing up all the things(like almost literally) for my trip to Condition tomorrow. Hope I will see some of you there this weekend!

so I've registered for Condition Vs. Monsters this year. I wasn't sure if I was going to but being their last year I figured what the hell!

The fun part is I'll have a dealer table! Yes, I'm going to try and pander my wares to the folks in London. I'll have some tails for sale and some fursuit sized collars as well. Is there anything else people might be interested in purchasing? I'll probably try to do some hand paws too and maybe some claws and paw pad sets separately.

If you want to request particular colours of any of the above, let me know and I'll try and have some with me!

I will also be giving on-the-spot quotes for fursuit stuff, so if you want to get something made Condition would be an awesome time to talk it over!

Second bit, just got a nice random cheque from the government so I'm thinking Feral if definitely a go this year as well.
