Been considering getting a twitter account for art updates and general doodles, since I draw *a lot* and don't really show them here. Note that they're mostly thumbnail sketches of myself being the personal chew toy of Impa, or various friends who like to abuse the booty bird (Affectionately, I swear. Also lots of my cats being gay.) Does it really help you guys who have and run one regularly?

I recently purchased a Tabmate and it came with a CSP Debut serial number. I do not need this, though I only have one copy- If anyone is interested in it comment below and I'll send a picture of the code for their use. (That way I don't fuck up a digit.)

Keep in mind the Debut is the base model- It does not have the same functions as Pro or EX.

Lately I've been trying to figure out a process to make drawing full images with backgrounds easier and I'd like other people's opinions, especially since there isnt a set rule to do illustrations and all. Being an engineer I've (un)fortunately fallen under the habit of creating a work process for everything I do- a step by step to ensure everything is smooth from start to finish with as little snags as possible.

This is where my first hurtle arises.

Among the many artists here I'm wondering what your particular process is, for example, do you start with the figures first and build the background around them? Do you create the scene and introduce your figures into them? Or do you kinda throw the lot together and hope for the best (as I tend to do) and somehow manage to make it work some of the time?

I know this Is more of an opinions thing than any set process because art has no real rules, but I'm open to suggestions on how to better make things float together. I feel that nailing this down will help me progress into creating works in good time with the same quality.

Unrelated- I'm going to stream more often now that I've figured out how to limit the stream data from stepping all over my roommates Monster Hunter binges. I have a full subscription to Picarto and totally happy to do dual streams and the like with people who are interested!

Apologies for being quiet for a little while there, you know how life gets in the way sometimes. Artwork is slow going but I'm making progress with the free time I have, and I've finally given in and gotten an upgrade to the slowly bugging out tablet I've had. Good times!

But man what I wouldn't give to have a whole week to just sit down and churn work out without the office calling. xvx Thank you to you guys who keep me sane on Discord too, I appreciate you more than you know! I'm always happy to chat there.

Current updates;

I'm going to make an addition to my TOS about art trades and payments. I'm still not accepting games for pay, as my last Gungeon binge has proven (I'm looking at you, Souji.)

I'm going to start doing experimental comics with the help of as writer. It will focus on my Amos, her own catbird character, another catbird friend of ours named Bug, and were going to welcome people to offer their toons for cameo appearances within the works. I'll have more details on that later, and these comics will be non lewd.

However

We will be doing some *very* lewd comics with the help of Impa, our favorite femdom owl. These will be short one offs. (Plus the YCHs she wants to do.)

I did say I wanted to do comics someday and there's no time like the present. Until those begin commissions will continue as normal... then I'll be offered up as an art slave for a while!

I've noticed lately that many people have been discontinuing their FA pages left and right for other sites and Twitter. While this is hardly anything new to the fandom it's been rather prevalent with some close artist friends and they've left no other explanation other than "FA sucks."

Can anyone shed a little light on this? I'm a bit lost.

Anyways, with my birthday coming up I'm going to do some changes to B's design just so those who were asking for art with him will be aware. It's nothing major, just going to trim his crest down cus it seems to get bigger with every image and my last ref of the lad is outdated by a ton.

Commission wise all is well, though expect a lot of Impa to show up. Popular owl has a lot of fans it seems and she's going to "politely" have me set up some YCHs with her involved, so there's that to look forward to.

I also apologize for being a bit quiet on discord! Work has been kind of a pain and I've been dealing with our AC unit going out randomly, so I'm sure you can understand a penguin cant work when it's hot all the time! I'm still making stuff though and I'm open for trades.

Warning; I can take a while with commissions. I try to churn out a complete work within a week but these times vary depending on factors beyond my control, like Life, my job getting in the way, repeated re-drafts/fixing/editing to an image, etc. I will always communicate this with my client when they happen.

Also; I know I'm severely underselling myself. I'll eventually raise prices later but for now I'm keeping things fun and cheap while I experiment and learn.

*I do not discriminate when it comes to gay, bi, trans, non-binary, gender-fluid, asexual, etc etc.

Specialties;
Diesel punk, Cyber punk, mechanical things, large group images, size difference, and WH40k.

Species most worked with; Avian, Sergal, cetecian, rodents, humans, and dragon types. (western)
Species weakest with; Equines, feline, canine.

Payments;

Payments are made AFTER the first draft is completed. I **only** take payments through PayPal or GooglePay.

Process;
-PM me with an offer and I'll go ahead and add you to the roster (Upon agreement of content.)
-I will then annoy you to no end with PM's/Discord/Etc messages until a plan is made. (srsly)
-You do not pay until the under drawing is made. (Low res full detailed pencil line art, as mentioned above.)
-We then go through the steps until we reach the level agreed upon.

Rules-
Have a ref sheet. If you are commissioning a ref sheet you must have a detailed written description plus any other reference material that will help me complete the image. If your character has tattoos- please have a PNG available of the design/s so I can extrapolate it into the drawing. I do not accept napkin doodles, RP session descriptions, or SL references. I am also not responsible for bad character designs.

I offer 3 minor edits and 2 major edits. Working out specific details to the work itself (eye shape, eye color, markings, etc.) do not apply.
Minor edit example- Change of body part shape (Paws instead of feet/hands, tongue out/in, expressions, tail if it's a large one)
Major edit example- Change of anatomy to major parts of the body (chest, total head shape, etc) and body positioning.

PMs are kept to business only if possible, but if you're wanting to chat me up about general stuff you can add me on Discord any time.

My sonas are available for no extra charge except Amos, who's VIP only. Should you choose to include more, there will be a small extra character fee after the first one. ( $5usd if, for example, B and Susan are included in a drawing.)

A couple of friends have also offered their sonas for fun stuff- These DO NOT apply towards the extra character charge.
-Imps's owl, though she prefers to retain her femdom/exhibition/cuck/etc roles.
-Juui the housegryphon is also available. She's small, cute, and tough as they come. She prefers size difference, exhibitionism, and anything cute.
(**Note; These friends only allow me to have full reign of her character, they do not belong to me. They also retain the right to refuse the offer to be included for any reason they see fit.)

No extreme kinks, poke/digimon (sorry, I just can't nail down the style.) gore, etc. Feral is okay but I don't have a lot of experience in it.

I do screen some subjects if they appear suspicious to me; if I find proof that the client has a bad rep with other artists I will deny the offer.
If a potential commissioner keeps teasing with offers to commission me but do not commit they will be blacklisted.

DNPs- I do offer a 'Do Not Post' option for those who wish to keep their commissions private. I only require that if you DO choose this option that you make sure it's very clear you wish it to be kept off the sites I post to. You do not need to give me a reason, but I would like to have some idea as to why- I.E. birthday gift, surprise for someone, etc. I make it a point to stagger these through the list, so don't be discouraged if I place it as second or third depending on number of slots offered.
(Sites currently active- Twitter, FA, and sometimes SoFurry. I do not post anywhere else.)

By accepting a commission from me the client understands that I have the full right to drop a project and give a full refund for any reason I deem feasible; be it poor client relations, issues IRL that will disrupt work for long periods of time, or illness.

Now that you've read the TOS, here's the base prices-

Some options
Icons- 15usd (Includes color and high res image)
Selfies w/B- Silly things I like to do. Runs the same as below but will always have a detailed background (+5, can vary on detail, can be b&w or color.)
Comic pages- 1 page option is free as it applies to the original base option, any other pages after that are +10usd added to base price.
(Example, 1 inked lineart comic page is 50. The next page would be 60, the one after that also 60, etc.)

Pencil line art/sketch -40 (+5 w/ flat colors, +5 for cel shading)
Inked line art -50 (+10 w/ flat colors, +5 for cel shading)
Full colors -80 (includes full shading)

Base is reflected with single character included. Every other toon (Based on complexity) 15$ extra. Be sure to get permission from the owners first! Some surprises aren't as welcome as you think.

Other things-
Basic BG (Color block, etc) +0
Complex BG (Pattern, repeating) +5
Complex BG (scene/scenario) +15
Wing tax- None. Wings don't bother me.
Pictures of my cat, Tater- FREE

Commissions are done in increment blocks of 3, new listings are not made until the first list is completed, and I am no longer taking spot holds. First come first serve and all that good stuff!

TRADES

Trades are agreed upon before any actual work starts on what the exact amount of work will be. The amount of work *will not* exceed anything more than that which was settled. (Ex, sketch for sketch, line art for line art, etc.)

Trades are not just limited to artwork, however, I have done trades for fantastic stories in the past, and even a few musical clips!

Note- I will only accept trades when commissions are slow.

Due to problems with people not fully understanding what the free sketches are all about, I am discontinuing them indefinitely. They have stopped being fun, and thus, I need a break.

I will complete this backlog and only do freebies for friends until I feel the time is right to re-open requests again.
Commissions on the other hand will still follow the normal schedule, and I'll have one slot available soon. More on that later.

Opening at noon this Sunday, and there will be no journal this time. Just start piling the PM's in around 12 p.m. Eastern-standard time and I'll start contacting people that night when I get home and get right to work on Monday. Only 3 this time as usual.

The rules-

-As before, you must have a ref sheet of some sort to apply. No half baked doodles or written descriptions.
-PMs are given priority. This makes back and fourth easier- I even prefer this over Discord.
-Give a general theme- nothing too complicated, or let me run with whatever I feel like. It usually works out!
-If you're including someone else's toon, be sure to get their permission first or you'll be black-balled. No exceptions.*
-No more than 3 figures per image, though exceptions can be made depending on the scenario and toon complexity.
-You get what you get. These will be INKED and FLAT COLORED posted on the coming Sat or Sun depending on what my job has me doing.
-Sorry, but Pokemon/Digimon, Pony, or anything cartoon fandom related won't fly. Nothing personal- It doesn't translate into my style well.

My characters are available to be paired with, that being B, Susan, my gator Gabo, and the black stallion you guys see Impa with sometimes.

Impa is also putting her toon up for shenanigans as well- She's a very dom-leaning aggressive switch with a mean streak, as many of you have seen. Some others have shown interest in being part of the 'pool' too.*

(*- Those in the pool can choose not to be paired with any specific person for any reason they wish without question. More rules on this later if there's more interest.)

On commissions- These will continue to be CLOSED until the backlot is completed. There's only three remaining.

Note; I have a bad/good habit of overdoing some requests if I'm inspired enough. This is nothing personal towards anyone or playing favorites! Sometimes things burn a little hotter when the engine gets going. I know a few of you know what I'm talking about. I do what I like, and I happen to like what I do. Don't be that guy. >:V

As you're all aware I haven't done any request freebies lately, and that's because I'm slowly churning my way through commissions and the like that's been recently acquired or owed for a bit. I'm grateful for those who have been very patient with me and especially for the people who have taken the time to chat me up on Discord. I've made quite a few new friends and it's been a delight hanging out here and there.

After the bigger part of my owed chunk is completed I will be opening up three weekly slots again plus one commission slot to see how they go with you guys. I have no doubt it will he fun and interesting like the others were!

My current lineup is rather dense but they should be completed by mid month or so. Especially the commissions; I'm a total hardass when it comes to quality. Get used to that.

Also, thank you to the new watchers I've recently acquired. Impa is far more popular than she likes to tell me apparently.

See you guys mid month and I'll be sure to post a journal on the Monday before I start taking up individuals for the request dump. Same rules apply, though now with a twist; the owl is putting her toon up for anyone who wants to be drawn with her.

Never thought I'd be this close to that many watchers, and I'm vert happy to have all of them, truly. You guys are the best. I've came a long way and it's been a very bumpy road with lots of face-dragging, but it's nearly here. I'll have to plan something for it. <v>

An apology to some who keep up with me on Discord and my sometimes slow/non responses- It's not your fault. I get so absorbed in a drawing that when I get a message, I think,

"Hey, It's [name here]! I'll shoot them a reply... but first let's finish inking this section."

I'm sure a fair bit of you who are also artists will understand. Once the muse gets going and the forge is hot, it's hard to stop.

Now, on to the weekly requests- As many of you know I've not posted a journal on it for a while. I do plan on doing them again soon, but I need to get these owed works out to clear my conscience first. THEN the real fun begins. As usual when I open them up I'll post a journal about it with the current rules and theme for the set, also I'm going to choose three whom I haven't drawn for yet but have asked consistently just to keep things fair, as mentioned in my other journals.

It’s that time again!

New rule; I’ll be working entirely in inks this time. Flat colors, basic bg (But you guys know I tend to overdo things sometimes.)

Got most of the problems around home worked out and I'll start taking requests again soon with a fresh idea of how to approach them. I'll post a journal when the time is right with some new rules, but mostly, I just want to ink stuff (As well as overdo things, as you guys know I'm quite prone to doing.) Officially I'm going to try and be ready to take requests by the end of next week, so the requests box will officially be opened on Friday the 2nd at Noon est.

That aside I hope everyone has been well and that February has been kind to everyone! I look forward to making more fun stuff in the upcoming weekly request dumps, and I might actually be taking commissions again to buy a ton of audio books.

With how things have been going I won't be posting anything today either. I will still be working on the last two owed, and those whom I contacted about the next batch will be worked on as well, they'll just be slow in coming. I'm very sorry about that, but the legal aspect of the crash along with some other issues that's cropped up has made it hard to find time to sit down and work on things.

I will get these done though, and I'll post them all when ready!

A friend of mine and an excellent artist is in a spot of trouble and could use your help if you happen to have the coin to spare, she's been fired from her job for the stupidest reason ever and having a rough start to 2018... Let's see if we can't improve that a little.

I've known her for a long time and her quality outstrips mine by miles, also she's absolutely amazing with all species, especially the doge types.
