Heya everyone,

I know it's been a REALLY hot minute since my last journal update and posting, and a lot has happened since then.

Firstly I'm sorry for not being more active here besides posting- Since taking almost everything to twitter it's been a wild ride, not to mention business for me art wise had exploded since. I've seen a lot of new followers here too, so welcome!

Unfortunately because of how the last year has been and this one has been going I've had to make commissions a sort of fast paced deal to make up for a lot of cash loss on my end. I've recently started getting treatment for my ADHD too, and boy is it NOT cheap. Thankfully it's been really easy to find commission work on Twitter, so keeping afloat is no longer a problem... Plus, it seems like people enjoy my work a lot.

I'm by no means a prideful birb, I prefer to stay humble, but it has been nice to see that there are so many who appreciate what I do.

Now on to commissions-

Again because of last year and this one, plus how much FA has changed (and screwed up on occasions) I lost *all* of my DMs containing relevant information for owed works in the past. Thankfully most of them haven't been paid so there's been no loss on either end. Those who have paid I was smart enough to transfer everything to my personal discord server for completion. Nevertheless, I'm sorry guys, but I had to drop the lost ones. <:c

I don't want that happening again. I needed something more stable and reliable, so I made a Google sheet to collect everything for easier management and just generally easier for everyone in the long run. The link for Commission Applications can be found in my journal footer- Just understand that I'm very new to using this method so things may change over time while I figure it out. I'll make sure everyone is aware when I do though!

Starting March 12 I will open for something called "passive commissions" which will stay open indefinitely or whenever the list fills up so much that I *have* to close. It will be a slower paced method to let me work on side projects while still doing work for you guys!

There are some stipulations though, so consider these carefully before applying-
- It WILL NOT be first-come-first-served, but I will notify those who's applications have been rejected and why.
- I will be choosing commissions based on amount of work involved VS my current real job workload. (So if it's a busy week, I'll do smaller stuff first.)
- It will not be slot based, so you will have no time-frame of when/where/what unless I contact you first. (I plan on fixing this later by adding a link to current work que, so don't worry.)
- I am offering a Do Not Post option for those who want them to be more private.
- Comics are also an option, but if they're more than 1 sheet they'll probably be done far between so I can finish other stuff first.
- Once the list reaches about 30 I'll close the application until at least 2/3rds are complete. (Then I'll focus on the remaining before starting on new applicants. I want to keep it fair.)

One last thing- I've been approached by the owner of ohjoysextoy.com to create some content for them. This will have priority over everything else until it's completed, so don't feel discouraged if I take a while to complete things. I want to do my very best for the website and I'm VERY excited to get started on it!

Yesterday was my hatchday so I figured I'd stop being lazy and actually post a journal update.

No real news to report. I hope everyone is doing okay and keeping safe! Thank you to those who wished me a happy bday yesterday, it was one of the better ones I've had <3

I hope everyone is safe in the current climate and keeping well, I know it's scary out there but if we're careful we should be okay!

Now on to business. As you guys know I've been churning out a lot of doodles on my phone and that's because I have no tablet at this moment. I sent it to wacom for repairs before much of the US started to go under shut down and it's taking a lot longer for the tablet to get back to me than it usually should.

So for now those particular commissions will be on hold. I still offer sketch commissions and doodles over my phone though... because it's all I have atm xvx.

I'll keep pushing out works as I can and get back on those I owe as soon as I get my tablet back! I look forward to working with you guys soon!

Also, phone sketch commissions are typically held over Twitter. I know some of you don't have one so I'll make some offers here in occasion as well.

Other business:

Due to the number of people who owe on art trades I'm going to stop offering this service to random artists and just stick to friends and people I know. I'm done being nice about this, several have become just flat out getting free art out of me.

So, if you're hoping to do an art trade and I dont know you personally; No. Sorry, blame the 9 others who havent done their part yet in literal *years.*

I know I said I wouldn't get a Ko-Fi, but I swallowed my pride and got an account to help out with a bit of trouble brewing at home. Since one roommate has been AWOL and hasn't paid rent in a while I'll be saving up every little bit I can to move out and pay off a recent car repair bill for a wreck. This year is really spinning by, isn't it?

No real new news to pan out, things have been going alright over here. All that's left on my docket is one trade, a colored piece, and then Red's Beak as promised earlier in the year; Though I might have to re-draft for people because of some issues. We'll see.

Also, I may open up for commissions next month with a birthday raffle because I'm an old bird.

Heya guys, I hope everyone is well and that 2019 has been off for a good start for people. I wanted to apologize for being slow on posting and updates but work has been hell and life has been getting in the way a bit lately. xvx Ill still doing art though, albeit slowly.

The list so far-

Trades are still a go- one ready to color, the other I'm inking (keeping up with how much the others have done.) I have ONE slot open if anyone is up for an art trade!

My penguin B is going to get a complete overhaul and I'll be making a new ref sheet for him soon. I'm going to use this as a template for offering ref sheets as a commission option as I know those can be hard to come by.

Fun part about this is that the roster changes up the story a little because we made a plot depending on if the main or voyeur had a beak or not. Just makes things fun and interesting for me! (And for you guys, too!)

I plan on doing drafting of the pages and putting my comic studies to good use, and with Imps helping me out things should go smoothly. As for you guys listed above- I'm going to try and make it as easy as possible for everyone to stay updated with changes and updates, I'll contact each of you individually with how that's going to work.

So Imps and I have been talking about how to go about this and we have a basic story and premise. Keep in mind that this is entirely experimental and I haven't drawn a comic since high school.

This is how it's going to go down-

I found an app that lets me select randoms from a list, so I'm going to post a slot below in the comments and all you need to do is comment to it directly with a reference link! Since it ISN'T a bid or anything you do not need to reply to anything else other than my post.

I'll collect these names into the list and let the program do its thing for each slot we need filled! Once the winners are chosen I'll post a journal with the winners, what their roles are, and anything else Impa wants to put in.

Some rules and stuff-

You must have a reference.
Top/bottom/dom/sub does not matter.
This is going to be done during my free time so please don't chew on me about it. (That's Impa's job anyways.)
The three secondaries will appear at the end of the comic and if it does well I might segue it into another story!

Who else is glad that 2018 is finally over? I know I am.

Happy new years, everyone! I hope you have a fine holidays besides that, and I salute you who had to work it- I've been there myself. This year I have a lot planned so be prepared for a ton of new content, and a lot of it will be way out of my comfort zone.

Comics!

I'll start collecting volunteers for a string of non canon comics written by myself and Juui. I'll post a journal when I prep those- They will be non adult and sci-fi fantasy in content. (Mix of medieval and post modern. If you've played Kenshi you'll know what I mean.)

Impa will be writing some too... and they will not be wholesome adventure comics. In fact, we need someone to be a "stunt dick" for a manual on "how to give beak- an idiots guide." I might do a raffle or something on that. I dunno. Who wants to get beak from the owl?

Freebies!

I've been doing these on Twitter with great success, but they're just warmups- simple uncolored line art. Once I figure out a good way to incorporate the process here I'll indulge upon it. They work about the same- give a short premise, a ref, and wait a few hours. EZPZ. It's just easier to do these over Twitter xvx I'm also doing full work raffles from there too.

Happy Holidays and all that nubbins!

Trades are on HOLD while I work on xmas gift art for close friendos, you guys know who you are whom I owe to.

I'm thoroughly bored of twitter now so I'll probably use it for posting snips of WIP's for anyone who cares about that stuff. It's a great platform for people who do artwork as a living but for hobbyists like me? Maybe not so much. I'll still use it to see when some people stream, like They do good wholesome game streams. Check them out sometime.

Like in my last journal I still plan on doing short comics and freebies, and I'll be sure to post a journal looking for people interested in being included. First story is a sfw pool scene where someone gets hucked into the water by Amos. (Intentionally. They ask nicely.) This will be excellent practice for me and Juui to work in tandem as writer and artist. I won't bore you guys with the details.

Yoy, I'll eventually stop posting journals and become a recluse again. Just a couple of things to bug people with-


JANUARY 2019 I will be taking up freebies again to experiment with a new style and one page comics. I will be posting a journal about it when the time comes so everyone knows, plus the rules and such. I really miss doing these. I will announce on twitter as well!

On the tutorial- Those of you with CSP and wanting to learn how to animate with it, or just needing a refresher- I have purchased an hour long video on the basics of the timeline, cells, and other stuff! I'm very willing to share it if there's anyone out there wanting to experiment with CSP's animation option, just be aware that it's nothing like Flash, It's very traditional in its methods. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED send me a note so I can link you via dropbox!
