Yesterday (06.06.2023) the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant has been completely destroyed by russians. Before destroying the Kakhovska Dam, Russian forces raised the water to a record level of 17.5 m, leaving the gates closed.

Evidently, Russia wanted to make the flooding as large-scale as possible in order to prevent the Ukrainian army from conducting it’s counteroffensive. Unfortunately these actions lead to very dangerous situation and an environmental disaster. For example, a whole zoo was flooded and almost all animals have died except of few swans and ducks (confirmed by zoo owners/managers): https://twitter.com/dzmaylon/status.....92646622961664
And a lot of humans and their animals are still out there, volunteers trying their best to save those lives.

Q: What is UArt?
❖ It's a group of Ukrainian Artists, who are creating unique content specifically for this project. We want to share our artworks with you without being “duplicate/reminder” account, that is why all sales you find here aren’t available on artists’ pages, only here! ♡

Q: Do admins make profit from it?
❖ Nope! No one has to pay money to post on our page, we're doing it in our free time, just for the sake of helping our folks ♡

Q: Is this the only list of Ukrainian furry artists?
❖ No, "Our artists" list is just those who post on UArt page. If you want to find more UA artists to support - check out this journal https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10138995

Q: I'm Ukrainian artist too, can I join UArt?
❖ Sure ^^ But we do have a few rules for joining:
1. All of our members are mainly ukrainian-speaking (and all announcements and other chat activities are in ukrainian) therefore we can add only those who knows ua language. Sorry, без української ніяк.
2. Не вести арт-аккаунти на російських платформах (таких як вк) і не викориcтовувати бусті.
3. Не піарити російських митців. Впершу чергу UArt створений для поширення української творчості. Ми не хочемо підтримувати митців країни-агресора.
4. Роботи на продаж робляться спеціально для UArt. Але всі права залишаються за вами - якщо ви покидаєте проєкт, то ваші роботи на продаж видаляються і ви зможете виставити їх у себе.
5. В нас є дедлайни - повинна бути 1 робота раз на 2 місяці, щоб підтримувати активність сторінки.
