Posted 8 years agoSo Ive been having a bit of conflicting thoughts as to how I should go about doing my Story for my inkjackal
Book, Comic or Game?
Each one of these has its own pros and cons and im on the fence about what i should do?
If its a game, I can make an interactive story that people can explore and go at their own pace and fight epic boss battles and other stuff. The one issue there s that I'm more of an Ideas man and would very much likely have to wait on getting a game development program like unity to program and would have to rely on some other friends/people to help design levels, music, mechanics etc.
If its a comic: well then i can just release pages at my own pace and people could enjoy some pretty artwork and read it as the story develops along. The problem there is drawing it all out as I'm sorta slow drawing out comics. I'd like to be able to do what gillpanda does for their red equinox comic but again i dunno how that'd work. Plus it'd be a pretty slow development but at least you'd get to see progress.
If its a book: I have a best friend writing his own story and several other people i know are pretty literate and can help me edit and proofread the story. Problem is not many people on the art site are keen on reading. So i'm wondering if i'd have to upload separate chapters n stuff like that...and I dunno how good my writing skills are.
Anyway Those are my ideas/options I'd like to hear what you all want me to do:

This is a visual novel murder mystery series that Zer0 has played and beaten many many times over and one that Legend only has some cursory knowledge of but is going to be going in 100% blind for the most part.
So Basically Zer0 Plays and Legend Goes WTF!
This series is also a bit of a pain to record so for now this series will be uploaded only on Fridays for a while untill the backlog recordings have been complete.
So for now enjoy the shenanigans. Oh and please no spoilers in the comments section.

Ive been feeling the urge to draw a few specific things this time around. Either Big bellies, Inflation, or Hyper. I'm mainly looking to do pics involving one, all or some of these theme depending.

Subject: What is the Pic about
References: Character references as well as any poses you want the character to be in
Level: Lineart, Flatcolor, Cell shading
Extra characters: Yes/No If yes Provide References here
Background: Yes/No If yes describe. if no background will be simple gradient
I will then look it over if I approve I will notify you and place you on the list. I reserve the right to decline a commission if it is something I'm not interested in drawing or is in my "no list"
When it is your turn I will ask for payment up front and then begin on a rough sketch
From there I will show it to you and ask if it needs any alterations. Once that is done I will complete the picture and send you a dropbox link to the full sized final pic.
I will then contact the next person on the list and begin the commission.
When it is your turn please try to get back to me within 24 hours as I really dislike having to wait for feedback.
If by 48 hours you have not gotten back to me about a commission after initial contact I will move you down the list and begin working on the next clients commission.

Ahem...Ok stopping that for a moment let me explain.
A while back my buddy legend could not stop talking about this light novel series that was utterly amazing (he is a creative writing major so if he says something is amazing in a book I tend to listen)
The series was called "Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari" or roughly Translated "The Rising of The Shield Hero".
The story is about 4 boys transported from japan to an alternate dimension where they are being called the returning 4 heroes of the land. each of the heroes is given a legendary weapon and are supposed to take on the waves of monsters that plague the land. The Sword hero, The Bow Hero, The Lance Hero and the titular Shield Hero.
At first things seem to start off like an average RPG...But thats when things get messed up. The sheild Hero Naofumi gets fucked over by the princess of the kingdom. His life made a iving hell as his name is tarnished and run through the mud unjustifiably to the point where people see him as a demon....And as a result our main hero seeks revenge against the kingdom and the princess.
Of course that is only one small part of an even bigger story thats going on that just gets bigger and bigger and more intense and insane as the novel goes on. Its amazing!
Its even been adapted into a manga where chapters are being uploaded monthly and now the series is getting an anime adaptation it seems like given the fact that this trailer was shown off earlier last month:
Seriously I cannot recommend this series enough. The books are being Published and are available on amazon at the moment and if you wanna read the manga you're probably gonna have to find one of those shady free manga viewing websites but Its worth it i guarantee~
